Just voted for you as UA-camr of the year.
I did this from a desktop computer: it may look a little different on other devices.
Go to the link Charlies provides and scroll *all* *the* *way* *down* *to* *the* bottom* *of* *the* *screen* . You can then work through the various award categories or just press the horrible yellow "Next" button to move through the categories until you get to the UA-camrs bit where you will see "Chadwick Model Railway". Needless to say, this is where you place your click!

Charlie you are an inspiration. Thanks to your videos my grandfather has returned to the hobby and we are building, over 4 boards, a layout based loosely on the Neath and Brecon Railway (for my sons you understand😀). Keep up the good work.

I realise that this is like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted but I find that by mixing the water for the plaster bandage with brown / green acrylic paint it gets the job done a bit quicker and cuts down the amount of mess. You could use the plaster water to mix with the sculpture mould to avoid waste and add some powder paint to the water so you know what areas have been done.

    Voted for you last week!
Handy how that new hillside is just the right height for you to lean on!
Got to admit, I was getting twitchy about derailments inside that tunnel, so I'm glad to see you left at least one access point.
If it didn't have a tunnel running through it, and you weren't going to lean on it, you could have just laid plaster cloth on top of the bubble wrap.
When I used to help my dad with his railway many years ago, we used to go to the local artists supplies shop and buy green and dark brown powder paints by the pound (yes, the lb, that long ago) to mix in with plaster to pre-colour it.

Hi Charlie, your retaining wall issue can be easily resolved by creating a tapered base wall with a level top running from your tunnel portal to nothing then start your existing retaining walls which will work. As you say it will look “prototypical” and like traditional brickwork of the railways.
    Cheers Andy

You have my vote Charlie! For the sides of the incline out of the helix, instead of retaining walls could have a rock cutting?

Great job. Consider keeping the back portion of the hill open for addressing track maintenance and derailments. Also, you got my vote…best of luck!

I am sure most of us would like you to do several videos per week. But we appreciated how much work it is especially editing for each video. I always check the home page and make sure you click video tab, to get the correct order. Keep up the good work.
