I'm thinking of buying the harley benton strap. A year after this video was uploaded do you still think it's good? Would you recommend it? I play an epiphone explorer and a jackson king v, so nothing over 7 pounds.

If the guitar is under 8lbs or so, it will be okay. I like the strap and still have it on my Strat. I will say that there are already some loose threads on the stitching. The Levy straps are of much higher quality.

Nice. What brand and gauge strings are you using on your guitars?

Typically, I use NYXL .11-.52. Before that, it was Ernie Ball .10-.46. My V has 9-48 but with Strats or the Breadwinner it's always 11's!

A few days ago I purchased a Franklin custom hot rod guitar strap for $89. What a waste of money so I’m returning it.
Franklin, to save money, failed to stitch around the two mounting holes to avoid fraying, plus to save a few bucks on leather they cut back the number of strap loops.
I’ve been buying Levy’s straps for over 35 years and although their quality has deteriorated tad they still produce the best rap. Compare theirs to Franklin and you’ll never buy a Franklin.

Yes, I agree. My Levy strap is my nest strap! Lame that your strap had no piping or stitching there.

I've had Franklin 3" padded in black with natural stitching and still going strong after 12 years in my Gibson Les Paul custom. They look great too
