ah yes, I remember the original well. I had it on the "final vinyl" cassette. This is one of the cases where Richie could be super melodic....whereas at other times he was just stupid sloppy. Great songwriter and band putter togetherer though. Also sounds like it could be on any Michael Schenker album
yeah he could be super sloppy. In concert he played lot of really sloppy open string pulloff stuff to just make a lot of noise etc. No secret there. Go listen to the live "Nobodys Perfect" album and get back to me lol. Either that or maybe Aerosmith "Live Bootleg" are probably tied for sloppiest albums ever @@peev2
@@JohnProph Yeah, right, Nobodys perfect, i can imagine if you know anything about Blackmore, Purple, Rainbow etc. What's that song again? You don't even know the name of the song. "Nobodys Perfect" - is that a rap crap thing
Your playing is flawless. It's not just that you nail the parts but it's how cleanly and effortless you make it look. I want to say how talented you are but I don't want that to take away from how hard you had to have worked to get there either. I read that you're a teacher as well. Your students are beyond lucky. Outstanding work.
Ritchie Blackmore is easily my favorite guitarist of all time, I’m so happy to see you doing covers of even the less appreciated legendary tracks. You’d be perfect in a Rainbow Cover band!
Great job man , nice hearing the second tone guitar at 2.02 . After the '' maybe next time'' performance , it was a matter of time to cover this one too🙂
Really well played, with great feeling. The sound however was not quite accurate. It’s a little bit too “buttery”. It’s more like Richie’s 72-73 tone, whereas in the 80’s he turned to an even cleaner sound, a little more ringing, with much more glass in the sound. Please don’t take that as criticism, because you’ve done such a great job!
Just to be clear, I've never been interested in duplicating anyone's tones as I'm not a gear head. I'll leave that to others 🙂 I'm all about recreating interesting parts and phrasing.
Fantastic track from Ritchie.....And covered beautifully!! Just shows that you can have a superb track without mad shredding....and Ritchie was no slouch! Now we need the tab...lol

Yes, the melodies and arrangement are very focused, which is what I like about this track.

@@ponkoariana1886 Nobodys Perfect was a live album by Deep Purple. Maybe u heard of them?
Sir, you have Blackmore's blood in you. Thank you for making me re-discover how Ritchie is out of this World. I'm stunned by your perfection.
Thank you for the kind words. And for watching.
You are the Man. You take on all my favorites. You execute them perfectly Thank you.

He's my favorite also, my nbr 2 is Gilmour 💪
@@juanmanuelperez-d5x my number two is Janick Gers who is basically like a Heavy Metal version of Blackmore/

Just a humble request, would you do Anybody There? Just need a good cry
I think snowman comes first. Maybe I'll put them together in a medley.
🤘😎🤘
All your videos clips are amazing Peter ! Can I ask what Dimarzio pickups you use, particularly the bridge pickup ?
Thanks. It's a Dimarzio pro track. The rest are stock Fenders.

Thank you. The fast picked solo ending is actually pretty advanced for its time. Playing late 70s Ritchie is never easy.
