The music sample for this track was from a group called the Brick they had a song back in 1976 call Dazz, Disco Jazz. That's where Ice Cube got his beats from 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 check out the Brick Band, it's on YT.

He wrote SOME songs for Eazy-E. MC Ren and D.O.C did a lot of writing for Eazy as well. D.O.C did most of Dre's writing as well. With that said Cube the fact that they produced all that work without having signed a thing (thank you Jerry Heller and Eazy for not being proactive enough).

Disagree. Cube wrote every song from “Straight Outta Compton” and “Ez Does It “ without Ice Cube, there’d be no NWA, no Death Row, no Tupac, no Snoop, no Eminem…..!I could keep going but you get the message.

@@bgonza2 My Dad's parents were born in Mexico City. His father moved to US and married an American woman for citizenship. They had 4 kids and divorced within 5 years. My grandpa than married a Mexican woman from same area. They had another 14 children, all born by 1960. My dad was born in 1951 and when he was 16 met my mother (Polish, African, and Irish) at a dance in the inner city. She was only 14. They never left each other's side and never dated anyone else. My father does on 2020 shortly after their 50th wedding anniversary. I'm taking care of my mom today, and she won't even leave the house. I do understand, it is like half of her died.
P.S. My 4 older Uncles, are very American and light skinned. Their names are Jamie, Marvin, Rick, John (or Juan). The truth is, my grandpa couldn't even speak English, but called my mom "Polaka".
Even crazier, is all my Tias and Tios understand Spanish perfectly, but have a hard time speaking it. A big majority of my cousins (including me & my bro) can barley understand and NEVER speak Spanish. I discussed this (was very mad!) with my Mom and she said my grandpa wanted all his kids to succeed in America and forced them to speak English in the house (even though he couldn't understand 2 words...LOL!!!)
My biggest regret in life was not learning English, Spanish, and Swahili!!!
I have cousins who were born in Kenya as well, and my cousin (who was also my best friend growing up) was raised in Nairobi, Kenya. The actually had servants and when the came to US, was so impressed on how intelligent they were. They used words like "clever"! We had the most racist pieces of shit living in our neighborhood. Since my cousins had "afros" and were dark skinned, they were robbed, beaten, and their apartments vandalized!
Bottom line is, I feel blessed that my entire family never judged anyone by their looks, and I learned a lot in life having such a huge family from all over the world!!! I wish more families experienced this.
P.S. My Aunte's husband was killed in the Embassy bombings! I'm very sorry I never had the chance to meet him!
P.S. Don't ever take your family for granted and always be proud of where you come from! It will make you the person you r today,a

Thank God your dad's side of the family is Mexican. You see Mexicans are extremely proud people, we love it when our men find a foreign woman. But it does bother us when we see our Mexican women daring foreign man. It's like we lost one of our women to a foreigner. 😅 So I'm happy.
You are from all over the world, that's great! Please learn Spanish my friend. It's never too late to learn it.
Have you traveled to México at all?
In any case thank you my friend for your answers and your time. God bless.

My father recently passed away from complications of Coronavirus. He was my best friend in the whole world, and I shit you not, one day, I hacked his Facebook, and put this song on one of his stories. That's one good memory I have because I laughed my ass off at him as all of his friends were like, are you okay? And he didn't know what was going on until I showed him and I swear, he wanted to slap me LOL. Sorry, I know it's kind of a sad story, but sharing my memories of the good times seems to help through the grieving process..I put his picture up with the story, and I put OG on it, and my mom is like, what does that mean? Old grandpa?🤣🤣🤣❤❤

Yeah we all love Eazy legacy now, but you got to look at the 91-93 tome frame (until the it's on dr dre killa ep revitalized his career)
      - 5150 flopped pretty hard,
      - the Dre day video made Caricature of Eazy E was pretty bad
-Eazy E at the time speaking pretty bad about Rodney King(but Eazy was taking about Rodney going out with transvites so the bigger context wasnt seen at the time)
      - Eazy E getting called a sell out by rappers like willie d for defending one of the cops in the Rodney King beating,
      - the controversy with him and Jerry supposedly ripping off artists, a lot of the rap, and hip hop community considered Eazy E as a caricature and sell out at the time.
Of course not everyone had the details why Eazy E showed up at the White House (ie -free publicity while not endorsing nothing), or exactly how the industry contracts at Ruthless Records were dealt with considering percentage points, royalties, recouping on lost sales, recouping on hotels, travel, etc., or how Eazy only defended one of the police in the Rodney king incident because he was a latino man who was holding off the other cops from doing much worse.
So yeah No Vasline at the time dodnt help things for E. Eazy E was one of my favorites but laye 91 to 93 was a bad time for Eazy E and a slump in creativity at Ruthless until the it's on Ep turned things around, signing Bine Thugs, plans to re-sign Atban Klan (aka Black Eyed Peas), plans for NWA reunion, etc.

The background hook "Now you're gettin' done without Vaseline" is LL Cool J. "The Villain" is what MC Ren calls himself. When Ice Cube is saying "Fella" he was meaning Heller which is on the original recording (it's on UA-cam look it up) but he changed it because he didn't want no lawsuits. It also goes further than the movie too. You have to go back to the Niggaz4life album and work your way back up. 1: NWA dissed Cube with "Real Niggaz". 2: Cube dissed NWA and M.C. Hammer with "No Vaseline" and "True To The Game" (Hammer and his crew confronted Cube on the street and Cube wanted no part of him). 3: Tim Dogg dissed the city of Compton in "Fuck Compton". 4: Dre (After leaving NWA) and Snoop dissed Tim Dogg, Luke and sneak-dissed cube in the song "Dre Day". 5: Eazy, Tim Dogg Luke and JT Money all made tracks on their albums dissing Dre and Snoop. It was a war lol.

I wish everyone would do research, before reacting to diss tracks, if you weren't around when all this was going down- movies are purposefully biased and just never tell the entire story- most of the kids trying to react to this have no idea that Ice even is a rapper, they think he is simply an actor, have no idea about NWA, or before that, have no idea of the reference for the lyrics. It's hard to watch reactions, when the reactors don't understand what they are listening to, and what a truly great piece of history it is, and why.......

Nwa shouldn't have went at him on that 100 miles and runnin ep (the diss was a little underwhelming btw), and taking shots at him on N--z 4life, he slaughtered them, I'm sure Dre heard them (at the same time Doc and Suge was in his ear) played a role in him looking into the contracts, even Virgil Robert's from solar said Dre contract was one of the worst ever at Ruthless Records in the industry.
