@@etrailer In the video the inner lining does not need to be pulled back. The T20 is easily accesible without pulling all this lining around the wheel. The 2 screws along the side need to be removed in addition to the T20, as listed in the instructions. Also, you need to realize which 3 series you have. This model in the video, the 320i, has a completely different muffler and heat shield. In 328i, 330i, 340i models the muffler is different, thus needing the heat shield to be cut as is described in the instructions. This video does NOT show or describe any of this process.
This hitch is rated for 350 lbs of tongue weight. You will want to check in the owners manual of your vehicle to see what the max tongue weight capacity is.
