    This repair video is only about five minutes long. However, the actual repair took closer to an hour. So for the full breakdown tutorial and all of the tips and tools I used to repair this, you can find the tutorial available at learnpdronline.com.

    one of the better pdr videos I've seen. short and full-bodied. that says more about technology than most half-hour materials. thank you.

    You make it look easy. I've been experimenting with my own vehicle and so far I'd say I'm about 70% happy with my attempts at PDR. Some of the deeper dents have turn into multiple micro highs and lows, which make reading the line board difficult. I will keep practicing and learning from your videos. Thanks!

      Thanks Wyatt, that's only because I have been doing this for years, so many people struggle with reading the lines that's why I have specific training modules online for 'Line board interpretation' The position of your line board is key and as well as moving it around left and right and at angles you can also move it closer and further way to help see fine details.

    Hi nice video, just curious why didnt u choose glue pull method? Can it be done with glue pull too?

    • @LearnPDROnline
      @LearnPDROnline  11 місяців тому

      Hi thanks for your comment, personally I am quicker and more accurate working with bars for this type of repair, Yes it can be also be done with glue but for me this method was the most efficient way to achieve the best result!

    How close does the light source or line board need to be to the dent

    • @LearnPDROnline
      @LearnPDROnline  2 місяці тому

      Great question! The light source is to help you read the dent so the correct distance is the one that shows you, the technician, the most detail. Generally I start with the line board 6-12 inches away from the dent and my head is a similar distance from the dent on the other side, then as the dent gets smaller I gradually move the line board further back, its important to do this at as many angles as possible both during the repair and particularly the finishing stages.

    Is is possible to just pull all dents or do you sometimes need to push from behind

    • @LearnPDROnline
      @LearnPDROnline  2 місяці тому

      In my opinion not all dents are possible to glue pull 100% and there are some that may be possible, but for me, would simply be quicker to push so its important to have both pushing and pulling skills for PDR 👍

      I'm not trying to trick you its something that really helps me find the centre of small sharp dents, how moving the line board out and up to face the panel from the damage helps to read the lowest spot of sharp dent damage when you align your head almost behind the board looking straight at the dent
