Long ago I asked Jesus to replace my heart with his and my eyes with his. And sometimes the things I see through his eyes breaks my heart . One very easy way to discern whether this is right or wrong is to ask yourself would Jesus himself go befote the church and dance through money? I pray they repent because if not it's very possible these men one day will stand before God and say,... But Lord didn't we believe and preach the gospel in your name? And those of you who know Christ also know what his reply will be.

I got caught up in it as well, but God in his grace got me out of it. I eventually realised my old church took scripture out of context to get money. Its so important for Christians to know their Bible so they won't be fooled by these so called evangelists
Give money so the Pastor can get f'king rich? The churches are supposes to help heavily in their communities with issues like homelessness. That is why they are tax exempt. How they get away with living a life of extreme luxury is beyond me

I have been a minister for 26 years now . I have always told people that God is interested in our obedience to Him , not our money . I have lost quite a few listeners over that . But I will never back off of the Word Of God .

I went to that church when i was basically in my moms stomach until i was about 16. Im 20 now and I honestly don’t know wtf i was thinking...of course im still a believer in Christ but omg im ashamed that i use to call him my paster. I pray god open his eyes.

Then, it is no longer a judgement, but an observance. And Christians are not "supposed to live in poverty". They may. But they may not. You can bear no fruit for Jesus in poverty or wealth the same as you can bear no fruite for Jesus in poverty or wealth. "Where your treasure is, there also will your heart be." Matt 6:21 So, you can be rich, but still treasure Jesus more than your money. While I do believe giving money to your ministry of choice is a very good thing to do *I ABSOLUTELY DISAGREE* with giving money to a ministry like this. They monetize the work of God and its blasphemous. Goes for pretty much all the *BIG* ministries. I remember when I was a younger child, we attended a very large church to visit. For some reason, they held offering until the very end of service. My mother tried to leave early during the benediction so she wouldn't face heavy traffic in the parking lot, and the deacons/ushers literally blocked the doorways and told us we could not go until offering was taken. We never visited that church again

I remember when my father (who was very studious about the bible and was so curious about God) took us to church on a Saturday for choir rehearsal and then we all met in the congregation hall and every person there was hustled for what they had to give. The Bishop literally scolded the church memebers. I don't know how dire it was to need the money. It wasn't even a service going on. My tongue speaking biological mother fell for this prosperity foolishness, smh. Yet, she's never had 2 quarters to rub together and has a wild obsession for money. She is saved though, no doubt about it. Every other word from her mouth is about Jesus or The Father, but every 10 sentences or so money will surface again. I can't talk to her as a result. Just don't like her but she is saved. I blame these prosperity pastors for leading God's people astray.

While I do believe giving money to your ministry of choice is a very good thing to do *I ABSOLUTELY DISAGREE* with giving money to a ministry like this. I remember when I was a younger child, we attended a very large church to visit. For some reason, they held offering until the very end of service. My mother tried to leave early during the benediction so she wouldn't face heavy traffic in the parking lot, and the deacons/ushers literally blocked the doorways and told us we could not go until offering was taken. We never visited that church again

I remember when my father (who was very studious about the bible and was so curious about God) took us to church on a Saturday for choir rehearsal and then we all met in the congregation hall and every person there was hustled for what they had to give. The Bishop literally scolded the church memebers. I don't know how dire it was to need the money. It wasn't even a service going on. As a child I watched my parents struggle with bills to keep a roof over our heads and my dad gave what little he could. He sat there and I saw the look on his face. My tongue speaking biological mother fell for this prosperity foolishness, smh. Yet, she's never had 2 quarters to rub together and has a wild obsession for money. She is saved though, no doubt about it. Every other word from her mouth is about Jesus or The Father, but every 10 sentences or so money will surface again. I can't talk to her as a result. Just don't like her but she is saved. I blame these prosperity pastors for leading God's people astray.
Not to be rude I know she's your mother but just because she talks about Jesus often doesn't mean she's saved at all.. I would read the book of 1 John which gives us a clear understanding of who really is saved and who isn't. Blessings

trill 1 Well saved from the wrath of God. When you are saved what that means is the cup of anger and hatred God has towards sin (which is essentially hell) has been drunk on your behalf by Jesus Christ. For God to he perfectly good he must hate what is against his perfect nature which is why he hates sin so much.
The cross shows 2 things:
1. God's infinite hatred for sin. He hates sin so much that even though his perfect son (who had not commited sin himself) was bearing our sin it pleased him to crush him 2Cor5:21, Isiah 53. That's the deepness of God's hatred for evil. Perfect, spotless Jesus who did no wrong was crushed by the almighty father with the fullness of his wrath.
2. God showed his abundant love for those he planned to save through the cross. God loved sinners so much that he was willing to crush his infinitely perfect son so that whoever would believe in him (trust in him) would be saved John 3:16. Jesus Christ took the father's anger head on to save his people John 10:15, Matthew 1:21.
So there you have it saved from what? Saved from God's hatred for what we have loved, sin. Saved by who? Well saved by God himself through the blood of his son Jesus Christ.

trill 1 Well we are saved from the punishment of sin (hell) and we are also being saved from sin itself. When we turn from sin(repent) and trust in Christ we become what is called "born again" John 3. When we are born again God gives us his holy spirit which enables us to have a new desire to be rid of sin. The holy spirit works in the heart of a believer causing them to daily and continuously be changed into a person which is like Jesus himself. He helps us to let go of sin day by day until we die and see the lord himself, where the Bible says we will be like him- meaning we will be completely without sin just like him.

@W Winterheart people make a god out their possessions, education, jobs, and the like. Just because it's not always in the delusional and deceptive form of money, doesn't mean that this practice isn't just subjected to "Abrahamic" religions. It's what's in man's heart that will show you who his god is regardless of what he believes.
As a Pagan, I assure you this has nothing to do with paganism nor would we condone such behavior. In any faith, followers should be appalled by one dancing on offerings freely given to whom they serve.
Although if you look at their belief system it matches new age and that's because that's where the founders of it came from... they were taught in new age school. All they did was find a bible verse to match the new age principles and bam they have a different gospel and Jesus to the one in the bible. They think they're gods and therefore can't be poor or sick. They think they can speak things into existence just like God. etc. Their idea of the gospel is not the gospel of scripture it's the self gospel and a different Jesus. How do I know this? I was caught up in it for 30 years. Thankful I'm not following doctrine of demons any longer.
