Yes the 2500 can be run at 1 ohm even though specs say 2. And it is a better amp than the 3500 for sure. Ithe rzr2500 is definitely a great little amp.
That's awesome! Nice to see car stereo equipment being affordable. I have 2 gothic 12s. I have ran 3 minute bass song torture tests and they won't blow. 1000 watts a side if amp is rated correctly
@@mattsnider5904 mine definitely isn't 1ohm stable. Tried it with 2 gothic 12s because so many people here say it is and unless they running it differently than mine idk but 12.6v-14.4v it constantly throws itself into protection mode trying to do 1ohm. I've tried 3 different amps and they do the same thing unplug one sub thus making it a 2ohm load it'll run all day long without a problem. Looking into getting the 3500d version or a skar rp2k
I have this amp on 2 kicker comp 12” and I got it at Walmart cause my sundown amp took 3 weeks. Well this little $100 amp blew my mind. It never and I mean never gets hot. I have the razor 2500.1 running in one of my buddies SUV. I believe the Dyno on it was 635wrms at 2ohm. Think it was $90 bucks. Your pumping these videos out hardcore man. Thanks.
Appreciate the dyno run on this amp. I figured it wouldn’t do what was on the box. Although, in my truck, I’ve got one hooked up to a single Power Acoustik MOFO 12 and it BANGS. Anyway, thanks again.
been running mine at 1ohm for over a year now on my skar ZVX 12 no issues, it gets obnoxiously loud!!! bought this thinking ill get a proper amp later when i can spend more cash on battery alternator ect.. but was blown away by this!
Thanks for the video. The efficiency rating is what got me on the amp even more than the wattage. Unless the one tested is class A/B. I missed that part. But I CANNOT FIND ANYWHERE the S/N ratio for Power Acoustik amps. Nowhere, and that's too important of a number to not have!
Man these amps have don so well for me I install and recommend them all the time and they are my back ups if I have any blown amps during car season (in the mid west) at car shows I have the wires ready to hook up to them
What dyno test are yall looking at because if you youtube the 2500 amp theres a dyno test that shows it does its actual or so rated power which is a buget gem
FYI, internals of this amp are the same as the PPI Ion and Sound stream Picasso Nano. All are Korean made but, prices have really gone up since this video was originally released. Still good little budget amps. The little 350 watt 2 channel PPI amp in this series will fit in the palm of your hand.
Yall keep saying the other razors are only capable of 2 ohm, but I've been running multiple of them at 1ohm for a good while now and never had one go into protect. I say the rzr2500d is 1ohm stable and have no idea why epsilon didn't give it a 1ohm rating. There's video of another guy that runs his at .5ohm.
Yeah for $125 your better off buying a Stinger monoblock amp. They are some clean sounding amps that make 50% more than rated power for the same price. The efficiency rating on Stinger amps are through the roof! 90% efficiency at 4 ohms! 90% Efficiency! And at 2 ohms it's 82% efficient! That amp will barely get warm. It doesn't exceed 100 degrees f. It sounds good with a high S/N ratio too. Stinger makes some of the best lower mid-priced amps on the market. It's hard to spend over $220 on Stinger Monoblocks and they start around $125.
I have a few of these, the DSP is amazing. Don't get excited about the 5th channel though, it's really only good for midbass driver or very efficient small subwoofer.
Nothing like the old school amps from back in the early 2000's like my old A3000.1D made in 2000 it's birth sheet said 2373 RMS at 1ohm 14.4v and it could handle 0.5 all day and the guy I bought it from had 2 strapped at 0.25ohm to a BTL and he said he was able to squeeze about 3k RMS out of each of them .. they don't make things as good as they used to..
