Me and Jolio Down by the Schoolyard | Paul Simon | Acoustic Cover

So this is my down and dirty acoustic cover of Paul Simon's "Me and Jolio Down by the Schoolyard". It was requested in the comments of another video so I thought, that's a super fun song... I'll do it! Well, It was pretty difficult to pick up. I wasn't really able to get the strumming pattern right, and I discovered what a horrible whistler I am. But, it was a blast to do! I hope you have as much fun watching it as I had learning it! And thanks to @harlowcampbell9778 for suggesting it! Not saying I will be able to do every song that is requested, but I'll do the ones I can.

The strumming pattern was tough for me to get and sing at the same time. I still didn’t get it quite right, but close enough for jazz.

@@gt-vids That's tricky on the Bass especially. You're sort of playing two songs at on time. Paul Simon is a genius!
