I always wanted to do something like this setting the whole world to go in custom directions I tried making them all go communist and then playing America for a real red scare moment but I got bored before loading into the game

You should've tried this with the Beautiful States Reborn Mod it lets you make a more accurate recreation of kaiserreich (you would've probably needed to go back to before nsb) but still a fire video nonetheless👌

One time I played the Great War mod, got an ending that was almost like Kaiserreich (albeit with me playing democratic Germany), and used the toolpack mod (and setup options) to recreate that world for vanilla HOI4. The key differences were that I got the Netherlands, Italy, and Switzerland to join Germany's faction for the war, Russia just went straight communist without a civil war (so I couldn't intervene and install Kerensky 😔), Japan and I gobbled up huge swathes of China (because that was actually my main target for colonialism instead of Africa) and fucked them over harder than they've been fucked over in any timeline, and Britain never joined the war and thus went fascist. Also, the Second Balkan War never ended and the Balkans never got involved in the Great War, lmao.
