Narrowboat May Day canal journey - inspired by nature VLOG 70

- May day narrowboat cruising along the canal. Experience 'amazing' scenes of wildlife. Step onboard my floating home for the next 30 minutes to experience my alternative way of living and the beauty I experience around me. The Month of May, fresh vibrant green landscapes, new life too, Ducklings, Goslings, little great crested Grebes being fed fish by mum, moorhens and Mandarins. Lambs playing in the fields and a baby sparrow in need of assistance.
The Journey started here... I once lived in the fast lane of life, happily married of 26 years, with two children. That chapter was suddenly shattered by the sudden loss of my wife to cancer, which led me in to depression and homelessness. Waking up in hospital, after attempting to take my own life, with just a suitcase, kayak and bicycle and no money, I've managed to rise up out of the darkness and find happiness and continue my next chapter.
I'm a self taught film maker, and creating these vlogs, it gives me something to do, share my personal experiences as I continue my journey cruising and living life on the canal. Please do consider supporting my channel below... Thank you Dave

That mill in Bollington is spectacular. All the architecture, stone and brickwork are works of art in themselves. It is all the more impressive when you realise this was done hundreds of years ago. Beautiful shot video. Well done my good, Sir!

Must say your filming does justice to nature.
My wife and I cruised this canal in 2015. It's so pretty. But how do go about cc rules when you seem to stay in this area.

Thanks for connecting. I continually cruise within the rules. I move out every two weeks or less on two canals. Not all my mooring spots get filmed.
