Robert Downey Jr. did what he did. And he did come back greater than ever and he is still white. And he was forgiven and he's making money. And he will not get the same level of derision unless he did something really awful. Jonathan Majors is young, black, talented, and he had a relationship with a white girl in one of the most racist countries in a racist society and his chances of a comeback are slim to none.
He also threatened suicide if the girl said something at the hospital. That wasn’t on trial but that’s public knowledge that the jury had access to. That and his lawyer did a horrible job by focusing on race and not the fact that no one can prove what happened inside the car. She focused on the racism in NY in a trial and not the actual incident.
As with any opportunity in any industry, they want to say they gave him a chance fair & square & he blew it, now on to the next talented actor waiting in the wings, and there are many.
It definitely wprked out for Disney as stories had come out prior that they were "potentially" looking to shift gears from the "Kang" saga.

Secondly, she takes pills consistently to sleep...alll the time. Nor did she even say she had an injury. She had a headache. Can you make a slight guess as to why he didn't want her to go? She also has an alcohol problem as proven in court... by a Dr who tested her.

The court would verify if those texts came from that phone number and weren’t fudged over by the prosecution. Like the court would actually verify the legitimacy of the texts not only through the phone company but through forensics to make sure that accuser is putting forth legitimate “evidence” against someone. They’d verify the ping of the person’s location as they made that text just to see if her And his phone weren’t close by to account for the possibility that she texted herself those words. They’d also verify if she did indeed go to the hospital on that day and for what purpose. And if I were majors and still unadvisedly went to trial to make all of this stuff public, I’d testify to add to the taxi driver’s account of what happened. But Like I said, I’m not saying that it’s true or not. That text could be some sex s&m stuff. I’m saying that as a man if my sister showed me those texts I wouldn’t give him the benefit of the doubt. If I were a CEO of a business and employed women I wouldn’t take that chance and would let him go. If I’m some distant person typing from a screen with zero responsibility of people who may have interpersonal relations with Majors then I can be unbiased and apathetic about who he’s interacting with.
