    Salute to Melyssa Ford for proving what's long been said about many of us Black people... If you want to keep Black people from knowing things, put it in a Book! She's basically TELLING these BLACK MEN to read the DAMN article then give an opinion about JM... It's much easier to move with the crowd than to stand out from it and create a pathway because of the fear of walking it alone... SMH

    Melyssa Ford is necessary on the show…Good to see someone not following the media narrative and allowing things to play out, because that’s just as dangerous as saying “believe all women.” These men should understand that or at least try to

      @@cristobalbalenciaga7295 no she wasn't, her FIRST Stance was to defend him, the moment more "allegations" came out, she said yeah he's done, she also said Megan Good was not smart starting a relationship with him during this drama. Now she's taking credit

      @@damien2729 I know. She took every stance possible and switched between them depending the room temp.
      But I don’t know what you mean with “no she wasn’t”. Because she was also defending him.
      So to be clear;
      She defended him, while accusing him, all while wanting to wait on more evidence.
      But the crazy thing about it all is that her fans only pick the one stance she was right on while ignoring every other stance/contradiction.

      Yeah it should not be "Believe all women", we should LISTEN TO ALL WOMEN when allegations are made, then try to gather facts as best as possible. Not as fast as possible as that can lead to errors too, but as best as possible.

    His career is for sure hurt over these accusations. Look at someone like Johnny Depp, who was a power house in hollywood, with multiple franchises under his belt. Look at what they did to him, and what he lost financially. False accusations aren't easy to bounce back from. Only thing that's helping Majors is it was caught super early, and dispelled somewhat. So he might not get too screwed from it, but he's gonna feel it for now.

    Glad Melyssa said this. She is right on the money with this. We need what she said to always apply. I've been saying this for years whenever we hear stories like this with Black Men in Sports and Entertainment. Wait and see how it will play out legally before they are punished. It's normally the opposite. They are normally punished first then we hear they didn't do anything wrong. It's fucked up.

    I'm not sure if he is guilty or not but, I do agree with her about one thing. I think if you saw Creed then it would be easier to believe the narrative. He was so menacing in that movie. He was big, muscular and not a good guy. He played that so well. So people can have a hard time separating the character from the real guy. I hope that he can get past this. I think he is a great actor.

    When you read through that article it paints a damning picture but then when you take a step back you realize that they say basically nothing. They just talk about second hand gossip. There is no new first hand accusation of any criminal actions in that article but they take the gossip of someone who knew someone that knew someone he dated back in the day and say that person said he either physically or mentally abused an ex.
    Sounds bad till you step out and think why did they tie the physical and mental abuse together like that? Could it be because he possibly didn't touch anyone but by saying either physical or mental abuse you cover you ass so when someone comes back to question it you can say well I said either or and mental abuse could be as broad as not answering the phone after cutting off a girls access to your credit card you gave her?
    They tie a potentially heinous accusation of physical abuse with a vague and broad accusation that could mean anything while knowing the audience reading that is going go with the worst possibility. Then they say more women have come forward and are cooperating with the authorities....which makes it sound like more women stepped forward with accusations of criminal abuse but it also accurately describes people being called in or subpoenaed to give character background about their past experience in a relationship with a defendant. So they could be called in and say we had a relationship he was never violent but the article can still say more women have come forward to cooperate with the authorities....
    After reading the article I realized I really still know nothing more than before I read the article but it sure makes him sound guilty of something. Won't know until the trial but the lawyers working against Majors must have a lot of media connections and have a lot of experience at doing this.
