Enjoy your family time and thanks for sharing a brief perspective of living abroad.
Girl, that is click bait, 😂. I was like, "Oh no, what happened?" Glad it is just a trip. Hope you are having a great time.
Yes, of course it is 🙃
lol ye i kind of figured it was click bait.. we know she not leaving to go back until 2024 the earliest.
I got so sad when I saw the title lol but then remembered you mentioned that you’re going to see your family and was like that has to be it but even when the time comes that you do leave Korea I’ve enjoyed everything you’ve put out since living there and keep learning new things ☺️❤️ yes yes yes if you can please open up more about living abroad and needing to leave once in awhile. I never thought of that until you mentioned it so now I’m more curious about it
thanks so much Nikita! 🥲
This is a disappointing title. I'm kind of surprised you did this click bait. You're not 'leaving korea' which sounded very final, you're going on vacation.
What I'm saying :/
@@kadaeseragaki me too but I'm happy it was😅
Yes, it is clickbait 😂 you know how that sounded!
I love your videos! they're so relaxing. I'm meeting my family in Hawaii later this year, too since it's halfway for everyone. I haven't seen any of my family in 3 years and I cant wait to see them!!... REQUEST: please link your camera equipment in your descriptionnnnn (amazon storefront??) I'm always so curious about what you're using.
I hope you enjoy your time with your family!! 💕🌺
Have a blessed time with your family and see their new grand baby.
thank you!! Gonna make an amazon storefront ASAP
CLICKBAITTTTTT damnnnnnn
It’s cool to hear your perspective about living abroad! I’ve definitely glorified the living abroad in Asia thing myself 😅 would love to hear how you manage homesickness!
People are people. It doesn't feel so different, unless you're deeply interested in the local culture.
Family is everything!!! They are the fuel, the energy, the friends, the blessings in everything we do. Nice you were able to see your family. I’m very sure you are now recovered and refreshed to go back to Korea and be out there and Thanks Adie for the little talk about living in Korea and yess, I would love to here more on that topic ♥️♥️♥️
Click bait!!!!!
Please do continue that discussion because I’m interested about moving out of Uk 🇬🇧.I really enjoy your vlogs..I hope you had or are having a great time in Hawaii 🌝
Don’t know why this worried me when I’ve seen your insta stories-
hehe do not fear, dear ❤️

😔 click bait
The title is actually “Going to visit my Family in USA.”
The way I stopped everything I was doing to watch this 😭. I’m glad you are able to visit with your family!
Literally same omg! The title of this video really got my heart rate up there 😂
i would definitely love to hear more of your thoughts on that topic !! thank you for speaking up about what you feel
I haven’t seen you for so long and this title shocked me!! Omg am I the first one .?
😍😍😍
I miss you so much 🥺
I think everyone had the same reaction after reading the title: 😳 > 😪 > 🤡 > 😅
The way you eat is so pretty Your video makes my day happier. I will support you in the future 💖♥️🥰👑🌙
K-pop and k dramas really did a number on us 🥲 I hear that often from foreigners I’d love to hear more about your experience. It must be hard because you don’t want to sound like you’re talking down on another country or culture but I think everyone is thinking the grass is always greener when it’s really just what you make of it! Still want to hear as much about your experience though 😂
I’ve been so mentally drained and struggling to watch UA-cam videos (sounds weird but my attention just doesn’t stay) but I saw this on my feed and just had to watch it, you are absolutely one of my favorite UA-camrs! And I totally agree, I haven’t loved the US since I was a child and my goal is to move to another country. I am both American and Canadian, I have thought about so many different countries but honestly, traveling and visiting different cultures is so important in getting you out of your comfort zone and ruts no matter where you live, it’s so good for your soul. I’ll be in Seoul for my birthday this year and I’m planning a trip to Europe in the next few years (LA is expensive) with my sister. Keep traveling, keep finding new places to love and things to love about life! Thank you for posting!
enjoy your trip.. and come back here soon.. ^^;;;;
I’d love for you to continue the convo! I’ve often thought about moving abroad for a year and prefer for people to keep it real about the struggles.
love your videos! :D so inspiring! You're very hardworking and productive and independent :)
awww milk bread thank you so much :)
My family lived in Australia for 20 years....come to the states once every 4 years, and we all hated the trip. So I have to agree to disagree....when you know 100% you are where you're meant to be, think you can truly immerse yourself in your new culture. I've been in the states for 10 years now, and it is not my home. I think it's a mindset because I knew Americans that only lasted a few years because they tried to hang onto their native culture while trying to adopt the new culture, and it never worked.
Soooooo true!!! I completely agree. We know what’s best for us individually
The way I RAN to this video when I got the notification. The title had me at first 😅
Love your videos Adrienne and would be interested in hearing more about your thoughts on living abroad, your honesty is refreshing. Have a great time in Hawaii ❤️
thanks so so much love ❤️
I don't think I'll end up doing a true move abroad in this lifetime since I just recently got married and we have a business together but still love to live vicariously through the vloggers and would be so curious to hear about downsides/culture shocks about living in Korea!
thank you! I will try to share more :)
You scared me Adrienne! I literally stopped watching my kdrama to see what was going on. My first thought was how can she leave Korea when I haven't had a chance to visit, so we can grab a cup of tea at a cafe.
Hawaii is amazing and you are super happy every time you go there, so enjoy your time with your family. I look forward to the Hawaii content.
I love poke!
Omg! Thought you were leaving korea for good 🤣❤️ I have never clicked so fast
couldn't agree more!! I also feel the same way as you do. Before I decided to study abroad, I always think that I really want to live abroad (or at least not my home country) for couple of years. But then, after I moved abroad for about a year, I started to realize how much I miss home, my family & friends. I would say, if you live abroad, you def need to go back to your home country, or another country, for at least couple of days. It really helps you to maintain your body mentally and physically. Especially, if you are an expat, or international student, you would feel burnout at some point and started to feel homesick. So, if you are blessed enough to have extra money to go back or visit another country, you should def go for it!!
Love from Texas!!
Yes you explain it perfectly omg! Thanks for watching love ❤️❤️❤️
What about your Korean boyfriend???
Omg I haven’t watched your vlogs in a while and you look so different!! Good different though. What have you gotten done other than your lips?
Nothing! I just lost a lot of weight since 2019🥲
I finally caught up to your current vlogs (I started watching about 2 months ago from when you first moved to Korea) and I never comment on anything ever, but I just wanted to say I love watching your vlogs so much! My favorites are a day in the life vlogs. I’ve always had a fascination with the Korean culture, and watching your vlogs makes me fall in love with it even more! And the way you edit is amazing 😂 you’re awesome and I’m so happy I stumbled onto your UA-cam page ❤️ can’t wait to see the next one!
You're right. Living abroad is very glamorous for many. I love the enthusiasm but this reality could be harsh for these people once they're in Korea. Or any different culture.
Got so nervous for a second with the title! Have a good time with family ♥️
Enjoy your time getting to reconnect with your family, Adrienne. 💜💜
Have a great time with your family! I agree that it is good for you to leave Korea at least once a year. I have only lived here in Korea for 5 months and I have met other teachers that told me that staying in Korea all the time and not leaving to visit family can have a serious impact on your mental health. Thank you for another beautiful video and I hope your time in Hawaii is awesome and full of sunny weather.
Did they tell you why?
@@gabrielle3362 They told me that when they stayed in Korea throughout the whole year and didn't travel outside the country, they started to feel more homesick and mentally exhausted. I'm not fully sure why this happened but I think that it's possible that when you stay in one place all the time, you can go crazy and need to escape for a while. I'm from the UK and if I stayed in my home area without going on holiday to another country at least once, I would go crazy.

Is it a normal thing to do sheet masks on a flight
LOL NOOO! It’s my first time i did it! I always see people do it and wanted to try. Surprisingly i really enjoyed it!
I’ve seen all your Insta stories but I was still like 👁👄👁 when I saw the title 🤡
So beautiful blue eyes 🍁
thank you !
If you come to Seoul, Korea, you will be able to enjoy another much more beautiful night view right in front of your eyes than the usual view of Namsan and Lotte Tower. In particular, if you go up to Eungbongsan Mountain and Geumho Mountain in Hawangsimni-dong, Geumho-dong, just a few kilometers between Cheonggyecheon Stream and Seoul Forest Park, you can enjoy badminton (get off at shin-Geumho Station or take a taxi) and there are many beautiful and delicious foods. Also, if you walk slowly for about two hours from the place called Dulle-gil starting from Maebongsan Mountain in Geumho Mountain, you can reach Namsan Mountain This place is very close to Gwangjang Market Jungang Market. It is close to Seongsu Bridge, Hannam Bridge and Dongho Bridge on the Han River. Therefore, it is very close to Apgujeong Station on Gangnam Station. I hope you have a wonderful and beautiful trip to Seoul
The two spectacular views of the Han River are located at the summit of Eungbongsan Mountain (81m high) and Maebongsan Mountain (95m high) in Seongdong-gu. What's even funnier is that the distance between the two is 3.1km by car and only 2.4km by foot

If you want to get the scuffs off your luggage put a couple drops of lemon essential oil on a paper towel or face pad and rub off. Works like a gem!
to you see urself living there for a few more years?
I was so shocked and bummed oml when I saw the thumbnail 😮💨 I thought you were leaving leaving lol. Either way I’m sure we’ll all support your decisions !! I agree it’s great to take breaks and experience new thing. Have fun in Hawaii!!
Hi
I really liked how you showed some of the Incheon Airport. I hope you have time to show a little of the airport you leave Hawaii from.
I hope you'll continue discussing anything you'd like to.
Do you prefer any particular time of year to visit Hawaii?
Also why are you glowing tho!?! You so gorgeous 😍😍
Living abroad is soooo much harder on all parts of you. Your limits are pushed and I agree it’s not all sunshines and rainbows at all 🥲 but I also wouldn’t have it any other way. I loved to be challenged so it works for me.
So true!!!! You said it perfectly!
The views from your brother’s place 😍✨
I love seeing your stories on ig and all the pretty views! Can’t wait to see more
Would love to be able to get out of korea more than once a year to be honest... but oh my the plane prices these days 😂😭
OMG! Adrienne, your skin looks soo flawless. Please continue your discussion on why people living abroad must visit back home at least once a year.
Hope you have a fun vacay!
also LOVE your Hawaii/home vlogs! I look forward to your content afterwards because you can tell you get so many fresh/creative ideas and look renewed after some time away ❤️
sosososo interested in hearing the rest of that convo!! I would love an entire sit down video or even gwrm, etc for a more in depth discussion!
I love your vlogs, it’s so relaxing. you give great advice.👍🏻
Love u gray shorts! Love the vibe of ur vids. Ur amazing
That's so awesome that you're going to spend time with your brother and your mom. I definitely need to follow your minimalist approach to packing. The Air BnB looks so nice with such cute decor. Have a wonderful time and cherish every moment.
I wish I was that close with my family. Hope your trip goes well :)
You’re glowing 😇
Have a fun time with your family!
Please continue the discussion! I also found it interesting how you said "Thank you so much" when you were buying your poke, because I almost expected to hear you say it in Korean lol. I know if that were me, I'd be on autopilot with that kind of thing after living in one place for so long. So I could see why leaving for at least a week is much needed. So interesting! ❤️
haha its so fun to speak in English comfortably again!
Would love for you to continue on how one needs a brake from living abroad sometimes, have lots of fun & enjoy Hawaii🥰💜💜💜🌈🌈🏝🏝🏝🌅🌅🌅🌌🌌🌌🌠🌠🌠
thank you for letting me know! ❤️
I totally agree with you.. I think, even though you love where you, if you come from abroad, sometimes you need a little comeback (especially if you have a strong relation with family and friends :))
thanks for the support Irene! 🤍
I think you should move to Hawaii.
I definitely agree with what you said about living abroad! A vacation abroad is nothing like living in another country and people really need to realize that. I've been living abroad for almost a year now and it really bugs me that so many people only show the good parts which leads a lot of people who haven't been abroad to think of it as a big vacation, but I rarely ever hear anyone talk about the bad parts. I understand that people are hesitant to say bad things about their host country (especially if the culture there isn't really receptive to criticism from foreigners...), but I wish I'd known more of the bad before moving abroad. I moved to Spain last summer (you may or may not recognize me from your instagram DMs hahaha) and just left, and honestly, I feel like I was deceived in a lot of ways because no one really addressed the larger negative issues I had to deal with. (Not saying that Spain is 100% bad -- please don't attack me @everyone haha -- but everywhere has its issues and those can be even harder on expats than people from that country.) At the very least, I think it's on us expats to open up discussions about general problems with living abroad like culture shock, bureaucracy, missing home, language/culture barriers, etc. so that people can be informed! Anyway, I'll get off my soap box now lol, but I just wanted to add my two cents. Thanks for being open about things like this, and I hope you'll address the negative aspects more/go into more detail in the future. I think it's super important to share, especially for potential expats, even if it is uncomfortable. Have a wonderful time in Hawaii!! :)
youre amazing for doing the move to Spain by yourself! I def agree that simple things can be harder for expats. Thanks for sharing your opinions on this, i think its gonna help a lot of people understand us more!
It’s interesting that you say that. Watching your videos you never show any inkling of missing home/US. You seem so entrenched in Korea, I actually can imagine you living there ‘forever’. Good that you have the means to leave and see family when you can.
Thank you!!
Lol this is clickbait
Hi, I would like you to open more about the good and the bad of living abroad. It's very interesting and something that people don't talk about. Thank you for your work once more. Hugs from Madrid, Spain.
hugs back to you esther!
I totally feel the same way, not that I live in Korea. But living in US for my whole life, it really is just nice to go away for at least a week or something like that. Have fun on your trip!
Would love to hear more on the topic!
omg random question but do u use any type of eyelash serum??? ur lashes are so nice!!!
yes!!! Benton eyelash serum EVERYDAY
I agree. I've moved away from my home country when I was a child, lived in another country until my teens and have lived in 3 countries since, and what you're saying is applicable everywhere I've been too. You definitely need to get away from the place you're living in every once in a while, and also not view other countries through rose coloured glasses. Thanks for sharing and keeping it real~ 💕
thank you for the support love!❤️
i’m so happy for you to be seeing at least some family 🖤 so important!!
thank god you aren’t actually leaving korea, familly is first
yes family first ❤️

Please continue the discussion! I have lived in four countries now (moving to my fifth soon!) and depending on what day you asked me, I sometimes loved it and sometimes hated it (including my home country!). There are struggles in every country because there’s no such thing as a perfect place.
sooo true girl! And youre sooo inspiring to have lived in 5 countries omg!
yes please continue the discussion! I wholeheartedly agree with what you said about living abroad on social media. I often that ive been comparing myself to others who are living abroad and sometimes feeling like im lacking in my travel experiences. Thanks for all you do Adrienne! 💓
will do~ thanks for the support love!
I loved hearing your opinion on that topic!! I lived in korea for 3 months even though i was supposed to stay for a year but i was just so excited for something new.
something that a lot of people also don’t understand is the large difference between a vacation abroad and moving abroad as well
2nd!!!!
Hi Adrienne! I would love to hear more of your living abroad opinion in future videos for sure! I want to live abroad at some point and Korea is a big option for me but I do know things aren't a sea of roses: homesickness, culture shocks, overall not being a place I'm comfortable at at first. Hope you have a great time in Hawaii!!
thanks so so much!!! I really appreciate your insight, it helps me so much with content 🥹
I'm glad that you are seeing your family

thank you so much!
I love your nails!!
Love this channel! Vlog Hawaii please!!!!!!!!!!
i have been vlogging a tooooon here!
Wow that’s an amazing Airbnb! Though I never lived aboard, I did move from Hawaii to mainland. For me, I had culture shock, from language to adapting to the culture of the city I moved to. Anyho, I would love for you to continue that discussion. Oh what kind poke you get at foodland?
Thank you so much! I can’t imagine how much culture shock you got from moving to mainland!! I got the SHOYU POKE 😍
