I have had EQ8 or a couple years. I had NO idea it could do all these fun things. I just never had the nerve to "play" with it any more than just a basic pieced quilt/block layout. I learned more from this video than I have the whole time I have this program. I love this program!! Thank you so much Adam and Janice!! Holy cow. Now I need to go and download a bunch of new fabric lines to my fabric library. I had no idea that was an option!
I have owned the EQ8 software for three years. I haven’t had the time to take classes. This presentation given by Janice has given me the information I need to begin playing with the software. What a great presentation! Thank you!
I have only had EQ8 a couple months and never thought I would be interested in designing my own quilts but I have already designed my first quilt! I love that they already have a lot of blocks and fabric available when you first purchase it but I also love the fact that I can continue to add fabric from designers and also if you use AccuQuilt you can purchase bundles that allow you to add blocks specifically that use AccuQuilt and that is a huge benefit for me.
Thank you so much for this video! I have had EQ7 for years, took a few classes, but rarely used it. The demo of EQ8 screens made sense to me, especially the color coding to show what section you are in is very helpful. Just got an AccuQuilt cutter and blocks, can't wait to see what quilts I can make with them. Am upgradeing to EQ8!
I love EQ8! I've used it for years. Here's a new use for you - I use EQ8 for furniture placement and photo design placement! I will say, it's time for an upgrade. There very are several features that could be added.
This video is amazing, the one feature I wish they would add, I would like to be able to scan a quilt pattern into EQ8, only so I can color the blocks, this would help me with using my fabrics (currently not a feature, I already asked). I enjoyed everything in the Video, Thank you very much!!! Definitely saving this as a reference. Oh and of course, I subscribed!!! 😁
You sure can. They actually just came out with a the Deep Dive Guide full of step by step instructions on how to take the photos and upload. I also did a video, maybe a Live on my Facebook page, about using the Deep Dive for a Panel. Their instruction books are so great. If you decide to purchase, I would love if you use my affiliate link below. Also, I have an Electric Quilt Playlist, with lots of other videos using EQ8. shrsl.com/4n60x

I just got EQ8 for Christmas but haven’t used it. Once again Adam has the perfect tutorial to get started! Thank you ❤

OMG, thanks so much for doing this! I have EQ8 and have not done much with it. Keep doing these fantastic videos!
I learned things today that were not in the EQ8 books. This was great! I am going to EQ Academy next month and am so looking forward to it.
Very cool. Anxious to learn EQ8. I have it but have not played much with it. Thanks!!
I enjoyed the pace of the video, not too slow. Lots of useful info too!

I’m so excited for this! CONVINCE MY HUBBY I NEED THIS! Lol
Well, I don't know what happened to about 10 minutes of the video, but at 23:36 the captions are back :)
HELP! I'm hearing impaired and at 22.30 minutes into the presentation the captions disappeared :( I cannot understand now what is being said.
Can I take a picture of some fabric on my shelf and add it to my fabrics?
