Hey Nathan, I was watching your masterclass and I remember you mentioned you graduated from Full Sail. I wanted to ask you how has that education helped you in your music journey as you now make a living from Sync? Has Full Sail helped you in your journey if so?
Hey XcaliberZero. I created a track with a small vocal sample from SPLICE. Everything else in this song is mine! I went on SHAZAM and when it got to that part - it flagged a DJ's song. I listened to the song - there is no recognizable audio in his song that sounds like mine and vice versa. Not sure why Shazam flagged it. Can I still submit my song for sync licensing?
This is a great question, honestly splice loops have been causing so many issues like this. For sync it's best to try and not use splice loops that are melodic, but it's also okay to check with your music library before submitting.
Helpful, thanks. Here's a question i've always had. I have an artist name that i release solo instrumental music under, but it's more of a band name. It's one word. Do i use that artist name when submitting to a library? Or do i use my real name? I guess i'm curious if it's worth separating my music into 2 entities/businesses: artist name for spotify music and real name for sync stuff. Oh do it as one entity? What things should i think about when considering that decision?
Heyy!!! i wanted to get my music out.. and i have no idea about this .. im doing my research .. would be great if you help me get placed! n get going!!
Hi, thanks for this cool information👍🔥, I had some questions actually, do I need PROS to submit my music to any music libraries? Or just for some particular libraries? Is there any way to work on sync licensing field without any PRO?
There's ways to submit without a PRO using sites like Artlist or Epidemic Sound. Microlicensing in general is that route. Most libraries for TV shows, & Film require a PRO though.
Hey Dude, take one tip from me... Stop cutting out pauzes and breaths. You are stressing out listeners the way your video is made. Shure, your information is valuable but keep it natural and relaxing. Pfieuwww
Would I need to file copyright for each song I submit for sync licensing or would I be able to get a song licensed without a specific copyright for it?
Fav new channel! Thank you for all of this information.
This is what I need to get on the right track with placements

Isn’t this like taxi A&R ? Whats the difference? Im interested in sending my tracks over for movies
Tv shows tv commercials etc.
Taxi is pay to submit and 97% of libraries you don't need to pay to submit
Major gems here, dedicated landing pages are a crazy good idea
Thanks mane!

On finetune do you HAVE to be affiliated with a PRO before you can submit or can you leave that spot blank?
I recommend signing up first just because it'll make their process easier fi they like your music

Are you an artist or producer? Most cases you wont have to copyright it, especially working with music libraries

The link to your extensive music library doesnt work.

Not until your track is approved and they accept you into the library
@@XcaliberZeroSync do they take long approving?
