The weight of the vehicle cannot be sitting on the tire. Discovery channel used to have quality programming and now it’s all bullshit, embellished fake drama disguised as documentary’s.

The "tv people" aren't the problem and they certainly didn't have a contract stipulating they wouldn't "turn in" illegal activities because that contract in itself would also be illegal and the "tv people" would be in a lot of trouble. These guys are actors and they're drinking water, anytime they show you "moonshine" it's not even alcohol. They're not making any moonshine anywhere near this show.
But just to entertain your thought for a second, even if it was all real, as soon as the show hits the air, the police would have all the info in the world to investigate them and even if they moved their stuff, they're still registered citizens and can be tracked down quite easily.
