I design my own foils and I'm impressed which is unusual for me. A lot of foil designers are very average in their skills but Gong's designer is willing to experiment and learns from his mistakes, he also has the passion to push his craft forward and not just sit still on old successes. I'm surprised I missed this video, My last foil design that I absolutely love shares a similar planform to the veloce. I like to think I have some aspects of it's shape better than the veloce but it's hard to be sure. For those who say bad things about Gong, I agree that their after sales reputation is well known to be poor. But the designs are quality.

Hey! Thanks for making foiling so accessible! But where are the 130+ wingspan low speed high aspect wings? We really need them to surf the smallest wakes of passing boats!
First of all, what a great video. You really know your foils! - Will there be a carbon mast with the new fuselage? - If you where going to match the new Ypra size L with an "old" stab, which one would you use? Very nice design of your new lineup!
Question: je viens de voir une vidéo sur les ailes Naish, entre les low et Hi ratio, il y a un modèle MA, qui ressemble à une Hi ratio à laquelle on aurait coupé les tips, lui donnant une allure très rectangulaire. A part l’avantage sécurité de ne pas avoir des tips pointus pour se faire embrocher, l’avis du testeur était que la MA allait certes un peu moins vite que la HI, mais qu’elle était formidable en vagues, beaucoup pls radicale. Avez-vous testé ce type de shape ? Si j’achète une Ypra XL, est-ce que je peux scier un peu les tips sans tomber sur la foam interne ? Je provoque, mais j’aimerais avoir votre avis, merci.
Slt. Et pour remonter au pic... Avoir un meilleur pompage. Plus facile fluid H ? J'ai une curve Lt.. C'est déjà pas trop mal. Mais La nouvelle gamme serait mieux ? Merci et bravo pour votre taf
I've got a fluid xl with that stab, first time out yesterday and whistles alot too. Read about sanding an angle on back edge of foil. All my other foils were silent
@@youdigsurf I know there's nothing wrong but gliding down wind used to be in silence and serene, now its far from silent. If I can find a way of making it better I will.

''Grand allongement'' serait plus adéquat comme terme que ''haut ratio'' qui me semble un anglicisme. Si on veut reprendre les termes de l'aéronautique.

Quel serait l'équivalent du stab veloce 43 dans les nouveaux stab pro ?
No need to push hard on new stabs to go faster,you feel it instantly it is faster,it changes "a lot" your foil mobility.
