I totally understand this philosophy and feel that I grew up (in Finland) with this kind of an attitude towards life & money as well. Family was never very wealthy but every now and then, my parents would take me and my little brothers on a nice day out or get us a more expensive Christmas gift etc. My dad would always drive an old pre-owned car which our neighbour liked to joke about but he said he'd rather eat well and enjoy than drive a new expensive car. 😊 I've continued to live like this myself, and luckily my Indian husband grew up with these kinds of values too even though one might think our upbringing was completely different in every way due to the cultural difference.
That restaurant looks amazing! I visited UB City while in Bangalore and the rooftop bar on the top floor, Skyee, was an eye-opener for me. Never seen that side of India before!

When the population of a country lacks basic care, like their medical system failing, no infrastructure, poverty to the extent where people don;t have enough water to drink etc. and so many other problems, i thin k trying to say India is more than that is...stupid.

Fun fact :- Vijay mallya is an alumni of my school LMB Kolkata.
I remember his speech during one of our founder's day events. It was pretty cool. Though, after everything that happened with him, I'm sure no one from our school is ever gonna be proud of him being an alumni from our school 😅

Truly Amazing caught up with you single sentence "Experience is all what life is all about" , yeah we must enjoy our life rather than thinking about our limitations. Because if you have a dream then only you can work for it to come true.

By far, From all the vloggers, I find you very genuine, your thoughts resonates with the ideas many people believe.. Best part from you to learn is. One does not need to be negative or harsh to be critical of something if you don't find worth.

So true Ivana, I also share the same philosophy…..being from middle class , I had never deprived my kids from luxuries of life like
    having dinner at luxurious restaurants
Enjoying international holidays , cruise etc
To hv different experience like paragliding , rafting, scuba diving
    whatever the price is
coz , i feel , you hv only one life & u need to experience it , once passed….time never comes back

The irony is, this isn't the real India. Our heritage, culture and grandeur is way larger than UB city or Shiro (we don't mind a Sushi or pizza though). You probably should visit places and get in touch with people who are still rooted in our culture, it is way more wealthy, and regal that what we perceive as 'the luxury' mall!

All your videos show better parts of india . I did college in Bengaluru decades back. No malls at that time so we hung out in MG road. Many good memories of Bengluru . Its wayyy congested now compared to before but still seems a happening place. The equivalent mall in chennai is the Express Mall..not so much luxury, though

The only thing that differ good travel blogger and genuine travel blogger is their attitude and postive vibe. We can see alot different places by sitting at your home.

Unfortunately I can't afford to travel but I love to dream about my travel plans and your vlogs completely changed how I imagine them. I now think about the experiences that I want or how it makes sense to budget a part of the trip but have a luxury stay for 1 or 2 days so I can experience that as well. Your mom is 100% correct, I've always saved money and I'm glad I had it saved for some curve balls life threw at me but at the same time I'm in my 30s now and I feel I missed out a lot of experiences because of that mentality.
