Guys! I love your videos! I’ve been subscribing for years and one thing always gets to me. It would be great, that when you’re describing tank sizes and measurements, it would be great if you had the metric conversion pop up on the screen as well. I’m sure I’m not the only one, but stopping your videos every 10s to pull up a converter is exhausting. Keep up the awesome work!

I have 2 MP40's in my tank.. Im a big fan of not having cords in the tank.. that and super easy to clean. no cords to unplug ect.. love them.

Exactly! it keeps it clean. My Cleaner wrasse jumped 3 times (and still alive and kicking in the tank after putting him back many times) so i have learned my lesson and keep a mesh top on now. Cords over the rim are the worst on a clean rimless tank! They are not cheap.. but they are amazing pumps!

I have one mp40 then decided to get gyre 250 and as far as water movement it wrecks my mp40.
My mp40 still has a purpose I do like my mp40 and it’s connected to my back up power battery

Should nutrient transport mode be run in sync or anti synch to best results. Pumps are on opposite sides of tank

Thanks for the review! Question: if I don't buy the Reeflink wireless hardware, and I don't have a Neptune Apex WXM module... can I still manually configure daily cycles (e.g., rougher flow in the day, calmer at night) that repeat over time without manual toggling of the buttons? Thanks :)

If not using the WXM, or Reeflink you can set the pump to a specific mode, and flow rate. You would not be able to have this change to another setting without doing this manually however. In this case you would need either the WXM, or Reeflink to achieve this.

while cleaning my MP10`s, the white needle thing that goes over the drive shaft broke. now my pumps are super noisy. can I just boy new white things or do I need to buy a whole new wet side?

What powerhead should I use on a waterbox 4ft tank? 47x23x17 10mm glass 65 gallon tank

If you're looking specifically at the Vortech pumps, like the ones in this video, the MP40 is going to be the right choice. The MP10 won't quite stick to 10mm thick glass, the MP60 is way overkill, and the MP40 is juuuust right 🙂
