The number of people on this free video complaining about the fact that they have to watch ads really need to have a reality check. Nobody is obligated to give you free content, and if you’re so lazy and ungrateful that you can’t appreciate it and all you do is complain, feel free to go find Alan Watts lectures and put them on UA-cam for yourself with no ads. Ohhhhhhh… you can’t do that because it takes a lot of time and effort and skills that you probably don’t have? Well, shucks… I guess we’re at a crossroads FFS. 🤦🏻♀️
1. Guys get Ad block and Ad block plus free chrome browser extensions if you don't like ads. 2. Ai generated is referring to the image I guess, but who cares. Alan watts speeches cannot be Ai generated. it is common to auto generate text the best software can, which is not perfect. listen 3. enjoy the video from a master :)
Lol I don't kno why but for years I've never had an ad and I don't have youtube premium. I think it's sum kind of mobile Android bug because I haven't had to watch an ad for like 8 years or so.
Can you please provide me some reference to read about this? As far as I know, The english word "God" has a distant etymological connection to the Indian name "Gautam", which has a Sanskrit origin.
Do you have a job? Could I show up there and have whatever you sell or service you provide for free? Oh, is that a crazy question to ask? If so, how come? No one is obligated to give you free content.
@@BettyTrouble Where do you work? Can I show up and have whatever it is you sell or service you provide for free? Why not? It’s free content. @@LeahIsHereNow I’m aware of how YT works. And how it’s monetized. I listen to a TON of free content that includes ads. The point I am making, along with multiple others is that the sheer volume of ads on this content is exceeding the reasonable and customary amount one typically encounters. It’s intrusive and degrades the entire experience. I get that ads are necessary. I get it’s a means of income. But do they literally have to pop up every 5 minutes throughout an hour long talk? Can you pls place the ads at the beginning of your videos. It is very annoying to have Alan Watts interrupted constantly with commercials. Makes me not wanting to watch any of your videos
I’m sure you could go and find some of his lectures, put them in a UA-cam video and listen to them for yourself, but somebody has already done that for you and because they did that for you spending time and energy in the process, they threw some ads in there so maybe they could make some money for all of their effort. @@aaron-n Yeah. You can tell it's a real talk with the audience in the background and I've noticed the AI Alan Watts videos he talks in a very rushed and robotic way. The real Alan Watts paused a lot to contemplate the direction of the lecture and to hold people's interest, giving them room in silence to meditate on what he's saying. He was a master of pacing for this kind of thing. I really wish people wouldn't make AI videos stealing Alan's voice. It's really disrespectful. Imagine being a philosopher and then having people use AI to "make you say things" that you never said. That's awful. I think AI has some potential. I've used AI art generators and song generators just for fun. I think it's entertaining and interesting to see what it can do, but I'm not trying to make any money from those creations nor am I stealing anyone's voice to create false lectures that dishonors the memory of an incredible person. I wish people would implement some kind of fundamental morality when using AI.
@@kyledowning5013 Yeah, if anything the audio sounds a bit remastered but I remember hearing this lecture before. Agreed on using his voice for generic motivation purposes, it's disrespectful and doesn't have the same wisdom Alan has. I block all of those channels that do that. If people want to use an AI voice fine but there's plenty of good sounding ones they can use.
@@aaron-n Exactly. I don't think there's anything wrong with someone using AI voices to create a motivational/meditation video, as long as they wrote the script and are speaking from the soul, so it's an authentic expression of their self and offers genuine advice for people who might be in a dark place. I can see the value in that. But, the only reason I can see people wanting to steal Alan Watt's voice is to try and bank on his popularity to get more views, and that's just so selfish and scummy. That's a purely egoic motivation and opposes what Alan Watts teaches to begin with. It's sad.
Everyone is complaining about the ads but I'm just happy that there isn't any annoying music that overpowers the dialogue in the video.
This seems like a genuine one, but anyone else worried about fake AI generated talks with his voice?
Zero ads with premium.
Free?

Premium is worth it imo. Probably because I watchvthe crap outta UA-cam and the music app
Lol you can pay $30+ or whatever amount for premium while I use Revanced for free with zero ads + skipped sponsor segments
