      @daneg 11 місяців тому

      @@TheJmann666 i'm quite enjoying it, but my main thesis is the same: jett is clearly faster. tomac looks nothing like 2023. sexton is nerfed by a new bike. roczen is strong and can beat jett with a couple breaks. i'm shocked by webb's rebound, but the health fix does make sense. i have no explanation for ando's speed (at times). I like ap, but he's a mirage. two mudders, friese, and a little rookie's lack of perspective have kept this close - again, I'm grateful - but i get the feeling jett is about to take a strangle hold on this thing. I just pray he gets buried on a few more starts. is it like 2009? iunno. js7 was clearly the fastest. rc freely admits this. reed is kinda like roczen (any given saturday). i'm skewed by history. the myth of 2009 is so strong that 2024 doesn't have a chance atm. sorry for long winded answer. i'm bored. no new race this weekend.

      The sport and way we ride a dirt bike was pushed to a new level by - nothing but the first pro rider in media to be seen, being black. And he smoked the GOAT at times at an age even Kenny left by now.
      No one yet is as fast and above the pack as James Stewart was, for many years.
      If it counts or not, is up to each and everyone of us. There is little hatred on CR22. Arguably a less charming person. To me.
      I don't care on why no one needs to stick a fork into a dying legend. Is not like he did University alongside the crashes he is haunted for having. That kid knows nothing but Moto. 30 years old. Out of reach in the all time stars in this generation of mx/sx. Who rode like Stew in 1998?

      Mark Newton - That's funny. I've only followed the sport religiously since 1987. But go on...

    • @NevadaSmith2
      @NevadaSmith2 8 років тому +30

      The clear difference is intention. James was ALWAYS a clean racer and won with shear speed. Reed raced dirty. He had to because he wasn't the fastest man on the track most days nights (RC & Bubba were). So he had to resort to riding dirty! Bloody hell, he admits it in this interview that he'd do it again!

    • @MrKipk
      @MrKipk 8 років тому +8

      +hunter larsen reed does it on purpose....he holds grudges, James does it to win

    • @marknewton6397

      Noah, Frank, you guys need to get out more. I'm not partial to any rider but shit, James is the only rider I know to take out RC, RV, MC, CR, RD, TF, etc. He's a one man wrecking machine. Sure he's fast but you better look out if your faster. As was the case with all above on those given nights. The dirtiest rider I've seen in a long time bar none.

    I was always a Reed fan for years even though this rivalry and always give Reed the benefit of the doubt, that is until he took out Trey Canard back in 2015 when Reed deliberately rode Trey off the track.

    • @NevadaSmith2
      @NevadaSmith2 8 років тому +8

      Crazymx51 that night showed Reed's true colors. Just like many nights when he pulled dirty moves on Stew. Look at Vegas 2009 when Reed tried to take James out on the sweeper (same move he pulled on Trey). He is just a dirty racer. Far dirtier than Barcia or anyone else in my opinion. I've just never understood why he had/has so many fans!

      That pissed me off too. trey simply lost control and hit Reed, Reed's was fully calculated and was just another display of poor sportsmanship and his inability to move past things. Not to mention Trey already has to deal with some of the worst luck I've ever seen in a rider, he didn't deserve that at all.

    • @snowzZzZz
