    That's a nice blind how did you attach the sunshade material around the pipe? And does it hide you good enough with the camo or do you have to brush in as well

    • @jamaulden1009
      @jamaulden1009  Місяць тому

      Thanks. Go back and watch the video. There is a section about how I attach the sunshade material to the poles. I simply wrapped it around and ran some self tapping screws through everything. As far as the camo goes, it does a pretty good job specially against, reeds and grasses that are brown, anytime. I can throw something extra on it will to help blend in that much more.

    Very well done. One of the better setups I've seen. We are running flooded timber (AR), so we occasionally 'kiss' a tree or 6 in the mornings (so we have to keep the frame from sticking outside the gunwales) . I'm looking to change my setup and Excel is a boat I'm considering. Been using the Avery Quick Set blind and it's been 'ok' (better than sitting out there waving our arms in a pink jump suit).
    I'm still trying to figure out a 'system' that is flexible/foldable to cover our little noggins that are sticking out like a sore thumb. If you have any ideas or come up with a solution, I'd love to see it. We have considered using some kind of fiberglass/ flexible tent pole as a frame that can be taken off or rolled up for transport down the highway / the rivers/ the woods, just haven't come up with anything that seems to work yet.
    Also, what is your boat length and what motor are you running?

      @@jamaulden1009 Thanks for the reply. Any issues with the Suzuki? (reliability is high on my list)
      Still try'n to figure out new boat and potential setups. Still considering the Viper. Also been eyeball'n the 2024 Excel 1651 River Warrior and the Legendcraft Ambush 1556 models and am considering the Beavertail 1800 Series Blind. I really like your setup. Keeps it out of the way when not using it and with some minor 'adjustments' will stay away from the trees that may want to grab it or smash it! Hope you guys have a great season!
