If I ever make a video game, there will be an easter egg where you shoot at a white shipping container to open it, showing a billboard with the death grips hoodie while the first 6 seconds of government plates plays.
This is like music from a completely white coloured mall and there's all the signs and posters and like plants and stuff but no actual shops or physical entertainment idk just seems like hyper active adhd elevator music which isn't a bad thing it's fukin rad
Fenjamin Branklin The only reason I could see that is if you meant the separation between the left and right channel is better with headphones, because that is true. If you mean that headphones are more articulate and replay this song more accurately than you are just wrong. Have you never heard a nice stereo?
shinyfuzzy Yes but see with a nice pair of headphones, you can turn headphones up all the way and no one will hear your music. i have sub-woofers but i was just saying that in his case maybe he doesn't have a nice stereo.
I think alot of people should listen to this album a good handful of times in order to really appreciate this. Zach and Flatlander made some really good instrumentals on this project. If anything I'd rather have no vocals by Ride. with the success of the last three albums, I think its good that they went into this direction. The first few Tracks on GP were like a taste of what they might come out with next. For the mean time, we get some we get these instrumentals to "slow down".
Actually, I believe the first few tracks were transitioning from their previous works and the later tracks on the album are a more accurate hint at how they'll likely progress in the next album. And listening to NotM, it does KINDA make sense, idk
Government Plates is so amazing. One of my favorite albums of DG!!!!! I think you just have to sit with it for a while and once you get hooked, every song on this album sounds pretty innovative compared to their other ones. I love all their work but for me, this will always be the reminder of why I fell in love with DG! Even though it was not my favorite at first.
I Wonder what would happen if parents played death grips to their kids while they were still on their mother's belly with headphones attached to the bellies
I don't even like Death Grips music that much but it's just so nice to listen to cuz it's noise and aggressiveness and it's good even tho it's bad. It's hard to explain but this song is hard
Fun Fact: This song has the exact same chord progression as the Mario Kart Wii Wi-Fi Menu music
Damn thats what i was thinking about
EVEN THE TIMING
Ween and death grips fuck yeah bro.
🥇
i just checked it!
this is death grips - the ice level
And the desert level is Punk Weight.
The jungle level is Fuck That.
And the wind level is black dice
@@phlog_dog7336 no, the jungle level is bubbles buried in this jungle
bonus level is 5d
This, Big House, Fuck Who's Watching and I'm Overflow are criminally underrated tracks.
A criminally underrated album in general
shortuf0 I feel like birds is pretty underrated as well, atleast compared to the rest of Death Grips discography.
.
especially fuck whos watching
this album in general, i didnt listen to it fully because of how hated it is but when i actually did i realized how good this is
If I ever make a video game, there will be an easter egg where you shoot at a white shipping container to open it, showing a billboard with the death grips hoodie while the first 6 seconds of government plates plays.

*"NOIDED"*
and the government plate on the cover right above it
Would love to see smth like this in a Payday DLC, would be the kind of Easter eggs they'll do

This is a wonderful day to be alive.
this is going to sound weird but i think this is the second time I've ran into a comment of yours today in very different places
@@nxxdle_ dope. also i agree with OP
I wish it was 2013
No but yes have a good day
@@mikeoxsor6183 same
the transition of big house and government plates is so fucking flawless that you don't realize it's a different song
Oh, def, I try to catch it mid change, but I still can’t. Like FUCK!

yes
I do, because it seems to be trying help us see the little hooded man image better, but if anything all it does is obstruct it a bit.

Squidward: *FUTURE*
Hyperactive adhd elevator music is probably one of the best descriptions I've heard of it, or any kind of music really.
dude same
You should try vaporwave
Perfect
God it sounds like they took a sample from one of the Bomberman games for the 64, listening to this gave me nostalgia
it literally sounds like something from the intro to Bomberman Hero!
SUBTERRANEAN SAINT
The exact same thing I thought about the first time I heard the track. Feels good to know im not the only ome who noticed.
Thaaats where this is from. Thanks bro
Oh my god my thoughts exactly, hella Bomberman 64 vibes from this song.
I legit just said it's some bomberman hero shit before I saw this.
They did this live during their 2017 tour. You wouldn't think it would be awesome live, but it was a highlight of the night.
This whole album feels like the weird second half of an acid trip when shit gets dark
Total switch to panic
real ones know this the most noided album...
love that bit at 1:03 when the drums come in. so dope
This song is designed for earphones.
wut.... why do you thing that?
shinyfuzzy better heard.

death grips is honestly the only band that sounds like they're from now. everything else is so stuck in the 20th century it's really sad
try sophie and pc music
@@braddyoung3523 And Iglooghost too!

I'd have to agree but a lot of the glitch stuff reminds me of older edgy music. For the most part I'd say they're very original

good point: other than the statement about Ride...his insane insights make DG really scary.
Actually, I believe the first few tracks were transitioning from their previous works and the later tracks on the album are a more accurate hint at how they'll likely progress in the next album. And listening to NotM, it does KINDA make sense, idk
the DG saga continues to evolve
Gotta love Fashion Week and Interview 2016

def. used to be my least fav now it's my 2nd fav behind TPTB
It's my least favourite imo but there are hidden gems on this project like this song.
this is my go to track when im eating cereal
What kinda cereal do you eat?
tv static cereal
I will test this tomorrow and see if Government Plates is the optimal cereal track.
One of my favourites off Government plates.
NeedITDeathHeated agreed
Easily the worst duck call i've ever heard.
Am i the only one that instantly thinks of some kind of Bowsers Castle level during the synth where the hand is showing?
definitely not
This song sounds like those Liminal Space images and I fucking love it for that
This song makes ne appreciate the internet.
Favorite death grips album by far
This album feels like the euphoria you get after doing something bad before regretting it or going to jail.
I'm kinda getting some vapor trap vibes from this
Insane people always make the best electronic music.
(See: Flatlander, Aphex Twin etc..)
So true...
Gene McBeats Bieber too ofc
Forestgravy90 Now I know you're memeing.
+John Dough twas just ironic friend
Aphex Twin is not insane, he's just creative and maybe a little weird
Why does this remind me of being in an airport? I love this album so much.
when i first listened to this the beginning sounded like the intercom sound at an airport before someone speaks
I feel like DG is playing with Blender on these.
absolutely
This song plays when I mop the floor with my lawn mower
There is literally no album that sounds like Government Plates. Most overhated record of all time?
listening to this while night driving through the warehouse district of Houston. Crazy vibes
this song has such a disgusting opening but like in a wonderful way. It's so aggressive and gets you ready to go.
one of the best. feels like death itself
God i love this song
This is by far their least angry track
Runway H 2
this song scares the fuck out of me
I Wonder what would happen if parents played death grips to their kids while they were still on their mother's belly with headphones attached to the bellies
Oh my god you don't know how fucking bad I want that shiny Death Grips jacket 00:01

+Fucking Shit Eater I have a government plates hoodie that's better
3m jackets
this is some top notch avant-crunk.
This one always stuck out to me amazing jam it captures Andy great on this album
i think about this song whenever i see a cop car
this is the government to my plates
That droning you hear with the hand onscreen used to freak me out sooooo bad when I first listened to this song.
great song. one of my favs in the album
Avant garde at its finest.... getting residents vibes from this song
man i really want that government plate
0:03 CHROMOKOPIA!?
so many new songs and videos. Death Grips been working hard :)
This used to be my least favorite Death Grips album, but it’s really starting to grow on me
I love the sample usage in this song
Artemis you are right on! Everyone I know thinks I'm crazy for saying Yeezus is a shitty attempt at ripping off death grips.
You are not alone.
This is their most wholesome beat they’ve ever produced.
This sounds like music that would play during any Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere mission
That "We love to play" part is so good
best death grips album to date
This album sounds like money to me
so underrated, one of their sickest beats tbh
This song or album or even flatlander's style remind me of Kirby 64. I fuckin love it.
forgot how sick this song was
This is the first album I ever listened to from you guys and it's still my fucking favorite.
That or Steroids.
Dude Same, it was on my Spotify daily playlist and I got hooked. Ig it’s bc I love edm music in general and the prodigy
This could totally be a soundtrack to a race course on mario kart!
This song actually has the same chord progression as the wifi menu melody in MKWII
Listening to this with headphones just revealed like 200 new sounds like i switched to 680x480 in cruelty squad
The album grows better overtime
Oh my God don't stop
This song reminds me of Machine Girl's album WLFGRL.
Ten Dollar Extreme same
Machine Girl's WLFGRL reminds me of Government Plates
This whole album is a 35 minute flex by andy
Sound a lot like Flying Lotus
Dirtnap90 the middle parts, yeah, with the more melodic airy synth stuff but the fast abstract percussion seems to be a bit more flatlander's style
sounds like one of those strange dreams you had before
The part at 2:10 is so amazing
This song makes me want to do my taxes
To me, this sound like Ape Escape type of music! Ahhh gotta love those Ape Escape games.
lol og ape escape. total klepto when I was little, used to steal the game manuals from blockbuster. ape escape was one of my favorites.
Full album now on Spotify? Oh hell yeah. Thank you. THANK YOU. More please, and thank you in advance.
this sounds like the mario kart online waiting tune
this deserves more views!!

dope 3d artwork. Its like im in some kind of virtual reality. #coolstuff
Playing Tekken with this as the stage music would be great
People really don't like this song? How is this one of the lowest rated on the album, shits phenomenal. Easily one of if not the best off the tape.

I don’t know what I’m watching/listening to but it’s very very appealing.
This song is really good, don't know why so many people don't like it
Instrumental sounds like something off a vsauce video
most underrated death grips song of all time
That slowed chanting is legit MC Ride just saing "We love to p-lay" lol
The most powerful piece of artwork to ever exist.
this album shows everyone death grips isnt just MC Ride, they are a legit group
Windows 95 next level
is this like a bomberman 64 sample in there or something
lel, Bomberman Hero actually doesn't have a terrible soundtrack. That's a rarity for a videogame.
Soppsau about as rare as finding good music anywhere else really
Soppsau Disagree.
Soppsau One of the GOATS
I definitely hear elements from Rainbow Palace.
