- The tail end of our road trip through Michigan brings us back to the Grand Rapids area. I drop my wife off at the Grand Rapids Public Museum and I drive north to Rockford, MI to ride Merrell Trail and Luton Park.
Luton Park is a stacked loop system. Park at the lot off 10 Mile Road and take the Green Loop in to the Blue Loop. All trails are stacked off of the Blue Loop. Advanced riders may want to jump ahead to the Orange, Black, and Red trails.

Is there a foot path in Luton? I live in rockford and had no idea this existed
I don’t know for sure but these are most likely multi use trails with hikers/runners going the opposite direction of bikes. The direction of travel varies depending on the day of the week.
That freehub sounds like you have a huge fish on.
Ha, I never thought of it that way. I haven't fished since I was a kid and bluegill don't exactly run away with the line. Industry 9 Torch hub BTW.
When I first started biking, I had this notion that bikers would be rude and unforgiving to newcomers. Once I started riding this trail, I met people like yourself who were very polite and understanding and it made the experience so much better. Luton is my favorite park and I still have yet to ride the black trail. Red took its toll and yet you did every single trail in one go, while also never riding the trail before. Incredible xD

Luton is a great little system. The stacked loops make it nice for beginners and advanced riders alike.
PS: I rode Merrell the same day before Luton. 😛
