I think mine will hold up fine with steel cable, but if I could go back I would definitely get the synthetic 👍
Nice install. Polaris did a good job on designing the machine for the winch. My Can-Am Superwinch install was a PITA.

I’m doing my 25hr post break-in service this weekend on my 2022 570EPS. I’m glad i was lazy and haven’t installed my 3500HD winch and assembled my plow yet. Looks like the winch might make accessing the front gearbox service hole difficult. On the bright side, at least the first gearbox service will be easy since the bumper and brackets need to come off anyway for the winch install. It’ll be wide open.
Yeah the winch will definitely be in the way!

Doesn’t look like my 2021 sportsman. The dash is different, it doesn’t have the mode button on the dash, it’s on the yellow button on the handle bar on the left. Your bumper guard is also different, I have a 1-1/4 Reese hitch right in the middle so I can push a trailer around going forward. You did a good job on your installation.👍

Just put the same winch on my new 570 2 days ago. Kinda a pain with taking the bumper off. The winch looks like it will make changing the front diff oil difficult.
Yeah I kind of noticed that too. The plug is right behind the winch.I guess we’ll see how bad it is to change when the time comes lol

Need some help. Once I installed the winch I could not put back the gront bumper, cause the winch case interferes with the 2 bottom screws of the bumper, what did you do?
Just make sure you mounted the winch in the correct holes on the frame. Mine lined right up
Which pigtail did you use on the switch. Litterally the only reason i watched this!!
I have a 2021 sportsman eps. They have the one connector that already pre wired just zip tied on the handlebars for the use of a winch switch. Not sure what model you have or what connections would be on yours.

What model winch is that? I just picked my 570 up today and am having a hell of a time with the winch. The positive and negative cables are to short also.
I just had exact problem. Was able to get negative barely to reach. Need to extend positive. Assuming that’s what u did?

What did you do with the original bumper bracket that we remove before installing de winch?

Which idi- I mean not so bright fellow, came up with the idea of mounting the winch in the front? If You drive out in a swamp end get stuck, do You want to winch Yourself further out in the deep end, hopfully not, You want to get back on dry land, and therefore the winch should be mounted in the back of the vehicle

If you actually watched the video you’ll see where all of the connections go.. to the PREWIRED ONES. I show that in the video.
Haters are gonna hate. Good video. We appreciate you taking the time to share how to do this install. Seems complete to me. Looking to do the same install when I take delivery of my 570, and with this video, it seems like I have a good handle on how the job will go.
