We all drop our bikes at some point. Hope it didn't spoil your weekend. Carol and I often ride in that area and have stopped for a photo right in that spot at Monsal Dale Head. There's a nice biker friendly cafe just past there called Yondermans. Keep practicing and best wishes to both of you.
Exactly why I didn't cut it out of the video. It is a lovely spot and will definitely return to the same spot and not be defeated by the car park next time 🤣 It didn't spoil the trip though, love the peak district 🥰 Yondermans is on the list 👍
Yes the weather that bank holiday weekend in May was ideal riding weather. This video is actually on the Go Pro Hero 10, which I actually returned after this trip as it was a brand new camera and kept freezing. I am now using the DJI Osmo Action 4 and so pleased with it, would highly recommend DJI over GoPro 👍 glad I made the swap early on 😊
Very true, I wanted to keep it in to show all the bits to riding (not just the good parts) Will keep going and learn from the mistakes and share them along the way 😊👍
Embarrassment factor level one, dropping the bike when people are there. It isn't fun but trust me you aren't the first and won't be the last to do it so don't dwell on it. Realise the weak points and practice,we all have or had them but don't give up.
100% will keep practicing, learning and making mistakes to learn from again. My problem is being a bit of a perfectionist when it doesn't go right I beat myself up about it. But wanted to share all the journey not just 'the best polished bits'. Thanks for your kind words 😊
Ironically I once had a ride to Monsal Head with a friend whose bike I dropped when he let me try it out the first week he had it. Did it at a different location though and luckily the bike had protective bars
@@derbyshireruralrider9398 OUCH! They aren't bad experiences, just good stories 😆 I hope you are still friends and the protective bars did their job 🤣👍 What bike was it?

Excellent- the weather looks amazing, beautiful clouds. The new camera seems to be working well. Did you get the DJI?

hay your not the first or will you be the last, new 535 3 weeks ago velcro on pants court on gear lever ,you know the rest,
Dropping a bike is part of riding. Mostly happens in front of people too. Lose your footing and away it goes. You're doing well though, keep it up🥰
