The Peak District is a beautiful area to ride. At the bottom of that pass is Speedwell Cavern, well worth visiting. There is an incredible underground tunnel where you get on a boat to explore. Well done for getting back on and riding after the drop.
Thanks for the tip! We will definitely have to go back and explore Speedwell Cavern. I knew I had to get back on the bike, keep riding and try not to let it put a downer on the day.
We have no inhibitions when we are young, so dropping our push-bike was laughable, as we get older, unfortunately our brain doesn't work in the same way and the smallest thing makes us feel, guilty, sick, we lose our confidence, and maybe, if unlucky, all the above and more at the same time. I'm glad to say you didn't let it put you off as you're now the proud owner of a new bike after passing your test, congratulations btw 👏. I came off my bike last year at 20mph or below and broke my leg in 3 places 2 metal plates and the arthritis is a pain in the butt lol, but I also took delivery of a Honda nc750x on Thursday, I love it. Thanks both for sharing and see you on your next adventure 🤙 🤟. Ps, maybe one day you and Bo would let me tag along 😊. I'm just up the road. Great content guys, keep it up 👌
100% you have hit the nail on the head. Knew I had to just get up brush myself off and get straight back on, which is sometimes the hardest part. Thank you! Ouch, yeah arthritis isn't fun but the metal makes it stronger. Nice, glad you are loving your new Honda nc750x. Definitely you can tag along to one of our rides in the future. The more the merrier!

I think a little follow the leader in your local town/city centre filtering would help you a lot in boosting your confidence.
It was a great ride out. Filtering is something I am starting to get more confident with. Lots of practice, practice, practice.
