  • You will need parts number AWR1146 and AWR1147, from the Britpart catalogue, to carry out this easy intervention.
    Find the parts here:
    www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/lan...
    www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/lan...
    www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/lan...
    Don't forget to order two locking strips as well (AWR1145), since they do not come with the new seals. I expected them to be, but they are not. I just reused the old ones, and they work fine.
    Next, I will show you how to properly seal the sunroof. Without using duct tape, that is... Stay tuned!
    Thank you for watching!

      @@ryancarey1535 Haha! It is indeed. Mine appears to have sprung a leak 'again'. Possibly from the windscreen seal, but I suspect the roof bars instead. I must look into it... More to come, thus. :)

    Hello do you have any idea how to change or fix my windows front felt for the front glass both side L and R

      I wish I could help, Abadi, but I am no longer in possession of this marvellous car. It should not be all that complicated I am sure. Best of luck with your research, and thank you for stopping by.

    Any info on the rear back or rear side windows?

      The side windows have a seal and are also glued I believe.

      Hi Bob, thank you for the kind words. Always appreciated. I would be inclined to believe that the weatherstrips on Discos I and II are the same. You might want to call your parts dealer, just to make sure. Remember to order the locking strips at the same time. Thank you for watching!

      @@gmcevoy My Disco 2 doesn't have the heavy gasket or the locking seal. There is just a reset seal which is very cracked.

      @gmcevoy  3 роки тому

      @@dtamburri The Disco 2 has a different type of seal indeed.

      Sigh…. All I can find is info on adding silicone or treating it the same as a windshield. Any thoughts?

    • @gmcevoy
      @gmcevoy  3 роки тому

      @@dtamburri If the windows are indeed glued like windscreens are, I would not bother with silicone. I would remove the windows altogether, get rid of the old glue, and stick them back on properly. That would sort you out for the next 20 years. I wish I had a DII like yours to make a video about it. :-)
