The driver's side motor on my G died last week and this video was very helpful! Gonna try and tackle this in a week or so. About how long did it take you to do the job?
Often it's the unforeseen issue that's the biggest challenge. I couldn't get 2 of the screws holding the old electric motor to the panel off, they were so tight is was like they were cemented in. Damaged the screw grooves attempting with different screw drivers. Had to abort and put it back together without the replacement as a result.
My passenger window rolls up about as slowly as shown in the video, is this normal? My driver side is much quicker and I thought it was something with my passenger side motor or alignment.
As long as it works properly up and down, you should be good! Something to consider could be the window regulator could be pretty dirty causing it to go slower, not a huge deal honestly
I had to do the driver's side last year. What a pain in the ass it was. I ended up having to take the window out and realign everything. It seemed so much easier after I took the window out.
Could possibly be fuel related if you’ve checked plugs and coils, make sure you do a good visual inspection to see if any wires are messed up due to rodent damage!
Definitely still worth getting a g35 if you have the money to get a clean one, but g37 prices are starting to get closer and closer that it definitely is something to consider if you’re looking for better performance, if it’s looks based, then yeah definitely get a g35!

if all you care about is the looks of the g35 then yes but if you’re looking for performance then a g37 is superior
