We can't be forgetting the best Monster in her Deck: Shining Friendship. It had such an insane ability in the anime, Tea couldn't even remember what it did. Nobody knows what Shining Friendship did, not even the one person who ran it in her Deck. And if there's one thing that Pot of Greed has taught us as a player base, it's that not knowing what a card does is a quick way to it getting banned.
Some other phrases for "back in the day": In the past, way back when, in the beginning, at the time of release, years ago. Total "back in the day" count: 7, in a 9 minute video. 1:21 1:49 2:08 2:49 3:17 4:11 6:10 (6:36 - fakeout, doesn't count towards total)
Silver Bow and Arrow wasn't that good because it was short-printed, meaning that the cards were shorter than normal cards. That means you couldn't ever set it in hope of baiting out a omnipresent Remove Trap. People forget that some old-school formats revolved around whether you could get your opponent to waste their Remove Trap, and Silver Bow and Arrow simply didn't do that.
Another card Tea played that probably coulda made the list was Maha Vailo, but I get why it didn't make the cut when compared to how many months Mystic Shine Ball Silver Bow sat at Tier 0.

I left this game behind in childhood but it's amazing to see what it has become. I don't even understand the game anymore, if I ever did. I entered a tournament with my incredibly modest beat down deck and I figured I had a shot of winning since I almost always did at recess. Little did I know that there were 40 year old men who were deeply committed to the game. Some fucker styled on me with a Scapegoat. 3x axe, mage power, united we stand My best power up was a malevolent nuzzler, I think it was.
I remember when everybody was running a variation of Exxod Shift where they'd bait an attack and use Shift to change the target to Exxod for massive damage
in her duel with that penguin dude, Tea discarded Pot of Greed for Fire Sorcerer's effect. which was probably a smart move, it's risky to try and play cards you don't understand.
I love the clear turn at fire sorcerer, all the other cards to that point were atleast somewhat legit back in the day (woboku maybe not withstanding) then fire sorcerer comes up and I'm just sat here "oh he's going to give a nod to the cute little give your opponent fire sorcerer deck that existed for like a second." And then the train went fully off the rails.
Jonouchi (joey) is pretty much taken as 3rd best player after Kaiba and Yugi... but apparently he never won a match against Anzu (tea)... I think there is an episode that open with him losing to Anzu multiple times.
It's always hard for me not to see her name as Anzu Mazaki. Also, it wasn't until he got to adamancipators that I realised what kind of video this was and I had to restart it.

Then harpies feather dust and raigeki followed by maha vailo and a bunch of equip cards. Win rate of 95% until monster effect negates started to appear.
How the hell is Silver Bow and Arrow ban worthy? 300 atk/def isn't all that much and it doesn't have any additional effects to make it worth putting it in a deck in my opinion. You want broken, how about Elemental Mistress Doriado. Yeah, she's a 3 star ritual monster with 1200 atk and 1400 def. But here's the thing, her effect makes it so she's every attribute but dark. That effect is viable in the deck, in the hand, on the field, in the graveyard, removed from play, and as a material for an Xyz monster. Combine her with Awakening of the Possessed and every monster you summon gets a minimum 1500 atk boost. Or get her as a material for Number 76: Harmonizer Gradielle and all of those attributes carry over, giving No.76 a massive wall of protection

“Make sure to check the description for the upload date” bro it’s passed midnight in my timezone and it’s April second 😅😂
Then in your country this is real
2:40 is when the serious talk ends
"It was so good that it got banned"
Pretty standard response to any of the old good cards in YuGiOh.
i love how deadpan your voice is when your taking the piss, it just makes the joke so much better
Some other phrases for "back in the day": In the past, way back when, in the beginning, at the time of release, years ago.
Total "back in the day" count: 7, in a 9 minute video.
1:21
1:49
2:08
2:49
3:17
4:11
6:10
(6:36 - fakeout, doesn't count towards total)
Silver Bow and Arrow wasn't that good because it was short-printed, meaning that the cards were shorter than normal cards. That means you couldn't ever set it in hope of baiting out a omnipresent Remove Trap. People forget that some old-school formats revolved around whether you could get your opponent to waste their Remove Trap, and Silver Bow and Arrow simply didn't do that.
Oh Lord, it took me until Silver Bow And Arrow to realize this was an April Fools' video.
In my defence, it's 1:45 am. and I'm tired, lmao.
Another card Tea played that probably coulda made the list was Maha Vailo, but I get why it didn't make the cut when compared to how many months Mystic Shine Ball Silver Bow sat at Tier 0.
When dzeeff actually covers his face when talking about Mirror Force. Way to sell it. :-)
I give him kudos for doing all this with a steady voice and, i assume, a straight face.
I was literally losing it over your Silver Bow and Arrow explanation
I just want to say that I look forward to your April Fool's videos more than pretty much any other UA-camr. You're the only one I watch that doesn't change the inflection of their voice at all just to make sure that the audience knows it's a joke and I really appreciate how you're able to make videos like this that sound exactly like all your other videos. Great job man
2:44 I actually remember Fire Sorcerer very well. For a stupid reason. In Germany, the card is known as "Flammenhexe"(literally Flame Witch) and due to that, some people in Southern Germany tried to get the Card banned (from print even) because of Witch Trials. Yes, really.
This is probably the most stupid thing I've ever heard concerning Yu-Gi-Oh!...
5:28 Wait... Looks up the upload date. Oh. I see
I left this game behind in childhood but it's amazing to see what it has become.
3x axe, mage power, united we stand
My best power up was a malevolent nuzzler, I think it was.
I only started to wonder when he quoted exxod, and I only realized the bait when he quoted silver bow and arrow.
Finally the best character in the anime
Obvious Aprils Fools joke.
Hah! I once demolished an extra link field with a Mirror Force... my opponent bricked out afterwards lol
Tea is one of those quiet and reserved types who don't duel a lot, but when she does, she kicks ass. She's the real King of Games.
Damn son Dark Zeeff coming in with the subtlety got me confused.
When I was a kid I collect Yu-Gi-Oh cards and i remember I have the magical faith and I have 15 of that card and I didn't realize it was banned
It's always hard for me not to see her name as Anzu Mazaki.
Also, it wasn't until he got to adamancipators that I realised what kind of video this was and I had to restart it.
I was expecting a video on how broken Syrus Truesdale's vechroids were
Please cry
You forgot my favorite, Maha Vailo. I had an strategy where I pull out as much cards as posible in the first turns with Graceful Charity/pot of greed recycling with magician of faith and cyber jar recycling with spear cretin. Then harpies feather dust and raigeki followed by maha vailo and a bunch of equip cards. Win rate of 95% until monster effect negates started to appear.
the cloudian one is still my fav but i hope you never stop these uploads
I only started question the video at Breath of Light. I was like ‘no… this card sounds like shit hold on a second’
waboku is almost "this turn, you cannot lose by battle damage", also protects all monsters, no bad at all, thrratening roar is good as well even today
Something I would like to see if possible is a competitive history of the Barrier Statues.
Every time I even think "I haven't watched dzeeff in a while, maybe I'll unsubscribe," you drop a banger like this
