Here’s a quick summary of where I get my beads and some tips to keep in mind if you’re starting out :) I’ll also be sorting out my beads here since they get really unorganized sometimes 😭 I’ve been getting a lot of questions about where I get my stuff so I hope this helps. Jewelry making doesn’t have to be expensive and it isn’t so intimidating once you try it out! 😊

Unfortunately it can be a bit of a trial and error experience especially on Aliexpress 😭 I would say in addition to good ratings, look at items that have lots of purchases and lots of ratings. In my experience those tend to be more trustworthy!

I can also recommend SHEIN the stuff is very cheap but if u live in America Amazon is easier with prime but I don’t live in America so for me I use shein

as long as you’re careful enough you should be fine, i’ve been making jewelry for a while and i haven’t even been poked at all
Yes I agree! Just make sure to be careful with the wire and pliers but I also have never gotten hurt from making jewelry :)

Hello. Love your videos. What size are your metal hollow flower frame charms? Also what size beads are you using...especially the ones used inside the metal frame charm?
They are 16mm long! I usually use 8mm beads inside them :)💝

So is it copper or aluminum wire? Because I find both very soft and bendible if I was to make my own eye pins?
It’s silver wire from Beadalon! Using a thicker gauge helps so they aren’t too soft. I use 22 gauge.

I’ve never actually bought beads from Shein so I’m not sure how the experience is. But some people say they have good options for cheaper prices!

Unfortunately I think Michael’s and Joanns are only in North America :( But I think Aliexpress and Etsy can ship beads to the uae if you’d like to shop online instead!

I'm not into jewelry, but I got a few charms and I wanted to incorporate it into my crochet projects - I usually make small things, mostly keychains and crochets keychains with charms always look really cute to me :3 However, I can't find pretty charms/beads that don't come in bulks :( I don't need 10/20 pieces of the same item since my crochet projects are individual and I make just a few in a month. Do you know where can I buy singular charms that are better quality than Aliexpress? I tried looking on Etsy, but I couldn't find anything.

Hi! I’m really sorry but I actually don’t know any places that sell singular charms :( I think most charms are sold in packs to save on shipping costs. I would recommend checking Michaels though, I think they have charms that are sold individually or in packs of 3-6. And in terms of quality I would keep looking on Etsy. Even though I haven’t seen any singular charms there, I find that they’re good quality in my experience. Also, some shops on Etsy like GuerrillaCharm sell charms in smaller groups of 4. ♥️

I get them from Amazon! Make sure to search “22 gauge jump rings” so they’re sturdy :)
