It’s out of sync,
Have virtually never lost a 1v1 in the Mirage 2000, even against F16. The Mirage's problem was never 1v1 capabilities. It was always the inefficiency of the heavily nerfed Magic 2, and only having 2 of them. It meant you werent pulling your weight when the match is 16 v 16.
Now with the buff to Magic 2 and letting us carry 4 of them, it is a proper 12.0 jet. Wont be true meta until Micas though.
It's a fake buff... The magic 2s are unable to go for corners like the R73/AIM9M because they lack energy. In short, they are only good when the target is not spinning and it is not flying too fast.
The SMT in this meta with its horrible flight model is basically an interceptor, might as well remove it from the game and add the MiG-25.
btw hes really bad at dogfighting and the other guy is very very very good
ther eis no way he can win even if he was better than the other guy tbh the f-16 is better at every thing rn, but heh reads the fight badly imo
If the F-16 has better maneuverability at slow speeds than mig-29 you know gaijin really messed up somewhere
And now the Mirage 2000-5F has good amount of flares

MiG-29G: Spitfire with Jet engines
mig29 preforms slightly better than G model.
G model is a bit heavier but still lighter than the soviet 9.13
The f16 is the real spitfire with jet engines on warthunder

The f-16 IS si OP vs reality. It's an UFO.
The HMS combined with the r73s thrust factory makes for some really crazy shots especially against the F-16. I've gotten quite a few kills that way that otherwise would not have been possible.
The 29s require good, well timed usage of full real controls to make up for the borked AoA they still have for some reason. Mix it with radar/irst slaving to almost always ignore preflaring and you’ve gotten yourself a plane that is incredibly hard to beat in a dogfight

Mig 29 is not the only plane nerf by AoA, Mirage 2000 is too, and dont have thrust vectoring missile to compense that
true + the missle has fuze time delay and it take some time to pull 35g and to get to mach 3 + really short burner and range
both the 29 and mirage fm are fine (the 29 lacks a liiiiiiiiiiiil bit of performance but it's already pretty close to it's irl counterpart), the problem is the busted f16 that is overperforming by a LOT
@@francoarca2122 no and yes, yes F16 is overpergorming, but Mirage and Mig should pull more AoA between 1/4 and 1/3 more than what they can in game
@@francoarca2122 Also, aim-9m is over uped and generally incorrect, and on R-73 and Magic-2 irccm is normally unmodulated, while aim-9m behaves like 9x.

it's been like a three or for video that there is a sound delay between the picture and the sound/vocals themselves.
The mirage is also severally nerfed since it can pull nearly as much AOA as it could irl and the Magic 2 is not properly modelled at least the IRCCM isn't
Glad they atleast added it's actually countermeasures number cause since the new missiles came you end up dumping 20 flares just to evade 1 missiles
they gave the magic 2 irccm last update(sons of attila) and now its like a toned down R73
they also buffed the 530D and gave it better long range performance
@@molstad182 it's irccm isn't finished it should have both r73 and similar to aim9M irccm with "flare rejection" not just a fov gate
@@molstad182 These buffs are very welcome cause de Mirage was really nerfed but it's still isn't enough
The magic 2 model is still not complete and is missing many things that it did have irl
It's IRCCM had multiple different ways to reject flares not just the FOV limit
If it were modelled correctly it should have the best IRCCM in game by far
If you think about it it would be well balanced since its overload isn't the best , its range is mediocre and the fuse delay is really long compared to other missiles which can make it unreliable under 1km
So having it almost unflareable would make it a lot more useful

@@patrioticpanda7618 And they are very welcome buffs but it's still quite an average missile at top tier because of the addition of new missiles for other nations like the aim9m and r73 which are technically better when they're not supposed to be

Now see the only real instance where the Mc 29 should be out turning their 16 is the low speed. Which we definitely don’t have. But in real life, the F-16 was better at high speeds.
F-16 is also better at low speed than the mig. F-16's minimum speed is Mach 0.15 while Mig's minimum speed is Mach 0.19
@@yvesdulac1871 at normal low speed yes, but I’d have to disagree with you on extremely low speeds. The only time they’ve recorded which was a German pilot against an American. The mig 29 performed far superior at nearing stall speed in fact, the F6 handles quite absurdly bad at low speed. Though I do agree with you. I was specifically mentioning, Near stall.
Mat, I notice that your lift vector gets offset when you get excited/worried. 6:30 is a good example of improper lift placement. Ideally you want to be pulling up directly through/slightly behind your enemy until you have a clear chance to shot. By trying to pull in front of him, when you are offset that much, you are almost always going to give him your 6 even if you are in the better aircraft. 7:30 you started good but saw him coming around and started putting your lift back in front of his nose. Eventually the f16 will still outperform you, but the proper placement should give you more time for an r73 shot.

@@enzojules4735 Imo they are keepng the f16 fm op because of the current bvr capabilities of the mig29, when fox3s come to the game they'll probably nerf the viper (at least i hope so).

No the audio has half a second delay in the video so you hear the lock tone before he actually locks. Listen to the flare popping sound as well it comes half a second before flare is dropped.
Some missiles can see outside thir gimbal limit

in simu mode it's almost as nice to look at as on DCS. I love the simu mode, I only play it now and clearly it's getting closer and closer to DCS except on some missiles which are clearly not realistic.

Sorry but these tests are all BS. You need to swap planes between tests otherwise pilot skill can't be discounted as a factor. It looks like you are simply a better or more experienced pilot, which proves absolutely nothing.
If he is the better pilot in the worse aircraft (except against the SMT) and still losing, then that only proves their point more
I can beat f16 c 50% of the time but f 16 a are a lot harder to fight

Although I do now see what you mean at least against the m2k as he isn’t gonna beat it in a low speed fight he should have used the vertical and bullied it with the engine power
airbrakes are your best friend, most planes have an ideal rate/turn speed, being too far over or under that will affect your ability to turn or do anything for that matter, cannot stress enough how important speed control is in a dogfight
@@theboostedbass5297 at the start yea you gotta air break but I will say I do see what they were saying especially in the m2k he kept air breaking into a low speed fight which is where the m2k shines he should have used the vertical since the MiG has stronger engines
