I need one like a hole in the head but I just LOVE these little dozers and would love to find one I could afford. Darn nice little project you have there will be exciting to see the end result.
This was awesome. Knowing you and your dad, this is going to be great when you are done. You guys always make things as good, or sometimes, better than factory. It's great to see it get some tender love and care. Thank you for sharing. See you later.
Very cool tear down! Thanks for sharing. Excellent time to go through it front to rear. Keep the narrative going some of us really understand this much better by telling your steps.
Ethan, too bad you have to replace the fenders in the gas tank but I think that definitely would be the best way to go make it look better in last longer. Thanks Michael
Fine thread offers increased strength due to the larger surface area of engagement between the threads. This means that fine thread fasteners can withstand higher loads and provide better resistance against shearing forces.
It is going to be a cool bunch of videos to come glad it is back where it belongs if the serial numbers are like the older case tractors you can take the first two numbers and subtract four and that is the year it was built
I have bought super 88 key switch wiring harnesses from Korves before to use them on other non Oliver related projects with little modification required. Just a thought in case you can't find a harness.
The rust between the panels could be that a lot of manufactures assembled before any paint was applied. I don't know about Case but A C used one colour wire throughout and the wiring diagram identifies the wires by size.
Take a look at squatch 253. Toby did a detail video on how to make a period looking wiring harness with modern materials. He also did several videos on how to rebuild generators and starters. He has been restoring a Farmal H. I think he did those videos back in February or March.
Give Evergreen Gauge's a call. I know they make reproduction gauges for case/oliver/deere/farmall/etc. they should have what you need. I have bought several sets for my tractors and they are to the best of my judgement equal to or better than the OEM stuff quality wise and very well duplicated to the original face printing.
If you ever need some touch up orange paint Chevy orange engine enamel is as close to original case power red or flambeau red as I have been able to get in a rattle can
Stop watching if you have a problem with it? Easy enough right smooth brain? Not everyone half asses their projects. People like you just really suck all the enjoyment out of doing UA-cam.
Every comment you have made on this channel is negative, if UA-cam is such a pice of piss where’s your channel with 25k subscribers. Obviously you get some pleasure pissing him off. Well If you don’t like his content bugger off.

You're making me nervous walking around that draw bar just keep thinking you'll bust your shins!
Hasn’t happened yet.

Easier than trying to fix what’s there at this point.
I’m looking forward to seeing this dozer running..
Us to

Depends on the material. Soft metals like Aluminum usually have stronger pullout with coarse thread
A tractor harness of that vintage will probably match
They are different
For your warriors it's a place called painless wiring
Nice video

I’ll have to look.

It’s not that hard to just make a copy of an original. There’s probably less than 10 wires in the whole harness.
The rust between the panels could be that a lot of manufactures assembled before any paint was applied. I don't know about Case but A C used one colour wire throughout and the wiring diagram identifies the wires by size.
It was fairly obvious anything on the chassis painted orange was assembled before it went to the paint booth.
You can look for gauges at Portland In tri state gas engine show. There is acres of flea market parts
Also Elmer's tractor in Kansas is for Case what maibach is for Oliver
Dad already found Elmer’s. Don’t go to any tractor shows except rantoul
You should take the blade and bracket off to get easier access to the engine.
I spoke to soon.
Maybe a small half dozen circuit generic wiring kit. They have usually GM style fuse blocks.
You can just buy all the stuff to make a copy of the original easy enough.

Already know how to.

yers ,the back of the belt should be flush with the outside edges of the pulley
Yes ji case used fine thread all my 30 series has mostly fine thread bolts it suck some what you have to order most fine bolts around my area
Is it Jerome or Abe?
Hey I have a 770 with power booster and its slipping so do you if a hydra power will fit in it?
They don’t inter change.

Our Napa can mix paint matched colors in rattle cans.
So much of MF (Mechanical Failure) ***** is done with fine thread bolts..............
Do it right do it once. Can't wait to see it push dirt or snow.
Yep
aLL this foor nothing all you nead to do is put ether init and start duh
Yea, that’s not how it works but ok.
Stop over thinking everything
