@@thatuktrainguy Thank you, the Avanti Voyager replacement seems to be quite a slow process so it was quite easy to plan both of them together. There was also ‘supposed’ to be a DRS Flask train here - the train ran.. 2 hours early so I missed it. Still, I felt like this video was one of the better ones from the North Wales series 😃
Wow, loving the background scenery overlooking the Conwy Valley looking westbound and heading south east towards Snowdonia. North and Mid Wales in its hay day the narrow gauge railways played a massive part with slate and coal from the mountains. And looking at it now, Llandudno Junction looks a wonderful station. Very different without the class 175's but they'll be starting a new life with Great Western Railway. Absolutely wonderful and full enjoyed it :-)

Thanks Arnold, variety is slowly disappearing here so it’s nice to still see some of the out going fleets here. That 197 was swapped with a 158 at Chester so it never made it to Birmingham! Always a pleasure 👍🏻
Completely agree! The 197s are now in full swing so the variety does lack a little bit but the route is very nice and offers a lot of different communities and environments. Thanks Joe 😃

Y'all need ro do a videography course... Heres a very important tip.. When recording a train passing a location, "Pan" with the engine not the blank side of the tender or any trailing cars!
Which one would you prefer. Avanti West Coast Class 221 Voyagers or the Class 805 Evero IET. Many train enthusiasts prefer the Class 221 but obviously they are slowly being replaced by the Class 805. And the Class 807 is schedule to enter service sometime next year.

No this 805 has not been used in public service yet.

I quite like the Avanti West Coast Class 805. How many of these new trains have entered service as they are replacing the Class 221 Voyagers.
13 805s to replace the voyagers, after going on one in August I can confirm that they are pretty good trains 👍
