One of my favorite Peyton Manning 2 minute drives. Everyone was saying he was done & then on that 3rd & 10 hits Sanders with a laser to tie it. He was definitely a shell of himself in 2015 & struggled more than he had in any year since he was a rookie. But he had 5 Game-Winning Drives (led NFL) & had a 109.1 Passer Rating (led NFL) in one possession games in the 4th Qtr.
His football IQ was still there, but his body was failing him. The injuries to the offensive line throughout the season and Kubiak's refusal to let Manning be Manning certainly didn't help.

Peyton was struggling to consistently time and make accurate 10+ yard passes downfield with his hand getting number, also he was being sacked at a higher rate than ever before. It's Kubiak's very offense that allowed Manning and that offense to still work as best as they could by focusing on the run and play action game, giving Manning more time on his throws and prioritizing a ground game that would work the clock. With how done Manning's arm was that season, that offense complimented him to the fullest capacity. It also kept the Broncos alive when they had to put in Osweiler because they were still following a scheme that didn't rely as heavily on the QB. If it was all Manning and then they had to throw in Brock, they wouldn't have won a single game with him.
I just remember after Denver tied it up I kept saying to myself "Please fumble it or throw a pick please fumble it or throw a pick' I could not believe it when it happened. Never gone so nuts watching a game!

I need to see more from Jackson before I put him in that category and maybe Rodgers can get back into peak form. Regardless, its tough to watch as a fan of these guys.
