@@discardmyfriends 2010 was unbelievable loved the willy wonka intro into trust and getting fred to put my flag over his shoulder and on the amp made it special for me
Was my first festival. I missed a GCSE to be there. Was a MILITANT afternoon. Killswitch, Limp Bizkit, KoRn back to back. The next day was just as Militant. Devildriver's world record circle pit. Followed by Hatebreed and Down. Talk about Brutal. Then a rest during Dragonforce keeping our places ready for Pendulum. Drink break then back in time for Slipknot.! The line up that year was fucking immense!! I liked Bizkit before. But after this they became one of my favorites. I saw them again at Download in 2013. They became my favorite band after their set finished. They are a class act live.
Freddie said in an interview "festivals are a party not a concert" he reckons people want to be able to sing along rather than hear new stuff, and i can say. It was the best party ive ever been to

I was front row for this. First ever festival. There was a lot of hype for this set going into the festival. Would they been cheered? Would they be hated? They came and absolutely smashed it!!!!!
cant fucking wait for download festival its going to be fucking awesome. seriously wanna see Fred and Jonathan Davis do all in the family would be fucking EPIC
I've gotten to where I like seeing Limp Bizkit's live stuff post-hiatus over the love stuff from their heyday because Fred used to be kind of a douche. Now that he's calmer and more mature it's lot more enjoyable to watch Bizkit look like they're having fun up there.
Trey Terrell I agree, plus vocally he's even better than 10 years ago. He's gotten so much better, not that he was ever bad but he's just really improved, especially the last couple years.
@@PiousMoltar fair mate I do believe it all came about from him hyping up the crowd to much at woodstock but if you all look KORN 1st track blind everyone mental so people shouldn't stick the blame on lb and Fred, I believe it's because they were unusual and less technical compared to bands like perhaps Korn slipknot rage and soad
33:24, the guy crowd surfing with the bald head and bandana round his neck is me, the moment I got thrown over the fence my phone started buzzing with all my friends who were in the fields watching the big screen and also people at home who were watching it live. (: good times.

Me too. Never thought I'd see them live the way things were going. So awesome.
I was there, 12 years old, my dad surprised with tickets to see slipknot. Now 27, remember it to this day.
The fact that it's impossible to get a HD AND uncensored version of this is ruining my Friday night.
Why?
5:35 ESPECTACULAR !
Fred is a great showman
Those two guys on the stage during Full Nelson were awesome.
I was there in 2009, was my first time seeing them live and I saw them at download in 2013 as well they're amazing live!
I was there too made me laugh when he got the entire crowd to sit down
Same here, with all my mates. Off our faces really but we went hard. Will live long in the memory.
I caught the plectrum at this concert! Still got it, was front row and shook Fred's hand. One of the best memories ever
I think this was the best crowd they ever performed for.
Not a chance. Woodstock 99, Argentina, Dublin 2010 to name a few
He still talks about it in interviews now.
@@neilberry1552I love that you mentioned Dublin 2010 as that was my very first LB gig. I think Wembley 2023 has it beat though

Oh yeah definitely he's been sounding awesome as of late.
I don't see how Fred was ever a douche tbh. Just media bullshit.

He said that at Rock Am Ring 2001, then said "Don't believe everything you are told" after it.
great
The irony that Limp Bizkit actually let their shit slip after significant other! They really could have been truly great.
Think my wee big bro mighta been at this one.....yeahh I like limp bizkkit.....so do my bruddah.....michael myerz
