I made a hat pin cushion similar to this in church school as A seven or eight year old. I used my mother's linking shears to keep my fabric from unraveling and a round card board for the brim. I thought mine was gorgeous! 😊 . Your pincushion is much prettier and more professional. I think I will follow your inspiration. Thank you!
Hi April, if only you could guess how many pin cushion videos I have watched today alone, lol! I simply adore this one!!! It really stands out for lots of reasons; it is not breakable, it's whimsical yet functional, and all the materials are already in my stash. A sewing/craft table can get cluttered quite easily during a project so I wouldn't want to make something in a style that is breakable and risk knocking it on the floor, if you understand so this one is just what I will make. Thanks a bunch!

Hello it's an old cd protection. Coming from a spindle. You can also use an old cd or dvd !
