Yes definitely. The other three albums are kind of forgettable (aside from the self-titled I mean, and Impulse), still some bangers on them. This track was fucking insane!
Yesss, banger of an album. JT is a great vocalist who continues to improve, but Garrison was a monster. Definitely gotta check it out, man!

Everyone saying Erra is stepping it up lately but honestly they've been slapping from day one lets be honest here. They had all these amazing riffs and awesome choruses and a unique sound since the start. Augment is one of their best albums imho.

yeah. i wish more people would learn to appreciate the Garrison era of ERRA and the JT era of ERRA (including MOC with Ian). They're all good and have their own unique identities.
To be fair, they really pieced everything together with JT finally. The self-titled album is their best since Augment.

As soon as it dropped last night it didnt hit me on the 1st listen but as i hear it more and more im falling in love with it. That chorus is becoming my favorite ERRA chorus. Vanish Canvas vibes.

I was so surprised by this track, was not expecting it at all. This is my new favorite song by them by far.
I personally always enjoyed Erra. I found them on Myspace when they just started, and there are a few bands that you listen for the first time and you're like... Ok yeah, these guys have what it takes to go the long distance. Obviously I was right and I'm really happy that I was.

Just wanted to comment on your working relationship with the band’s music.
The first time I heard Erra was years ago. The Drift album. I skipped the songs off of it so quick. Couldn’t stand it. Just felt off and didn’t vibe with me. Like you, I had to listen to more of them and find those “gateway” songs and once that happened, like finding a beer you like, their music started to hit my musical palette like a freight train.
Now they’re my favorite band of all time and I’ve seen them countless times live.

I can’t explain why exactly, but the vibe of this song reminds me a lot of my favorite Periphery song, “Stranger Things”. That’s a really good thing. The self titled album definitely changed my entire opinion on the band just like it did for you. I liked them but with this new era (pun intended) I’m now a fan🤘😎 🔥
That’s my favorite periphery song too! They just so happen to be my favorite band of all time. My favorite album by them is p2 which is my favorite album of all time!

Just discovered your channel - Self Titled album was my first exposure to ERRA. I fell in love instantly when I heard Snowblood last year.
The breakdown on this song gives me goosebumps with the way they build and make you really feel the emotion of it. It's SO good. Great reaction/review man. Will be watching your channel more now.
I'm so glad I've gotten to see you do a complete 180 with your opinion of Erra. Not sure if you have went back and listened to any of their earlier material but I would love to see you check out the song Pattern Interrupt from the album Impulse.
I’d really like to see essentially a “reaction” of some of your previous videos when you wasn’t a fan of them. Just to see even what your thoughts on what you’ve said in the past have changed to now. I know you’ve always like their technical abilities but the fact you have a grasp to their style and you’re a fan now, it would be interesting IMO. Have a great day!

I wasn’t a fan of the chorus, but then it grew on me. I’m so used to the choruses of Erra sounding open, but this one sounds so tight, almost as if you’re trapped. But after listening to the lyrics, it really started to grow on me because I realized you are supposed to feel the tightness of the chorus. Absolutely mind blowing to me

I feel like with their self-titled album and what we've heard so far from the deluxe, we're really being spoiled. They sound so damn good right now. The beginning
of the song with Jesse's verse reminded most of us of Ghost Atlas. With all the creativity Jesse seems to be overflowing with, it'd be cool to see him release something

Intro gets the feels every time..ERRA has never disappointed me, the formula is the same, and that’s not a bad thing for me, I can listen to their catalogue start to finish, no skips and that’s incredible. Keep up the content. Thank you.

man erra is unbelievable as of late. i always had a hard time enjoying their music but after that last album and now this, im a fan. they do so much so well. they barely had any instrumentals but it was still incredible.

My feelings and points about music, how good it is to swerve right when the listener expects you to swerve left, closely match yours. Well-thought out video and another great one to watch. This is the first tie I’ve heard this band, and love this song and their style. I felt the old ADTR scream influence, but with more depth in the band as a whole. Yeah, it’s a beanie here in Texas.

Something clicked with this band on their self titled, and they ALREADY were so amazing… I find it hard to believe their S/T wont be my favorite album for a while, but this song might be my favorite ever from them, we’ll see once recency bias wear off haha… I believe in these guys.

I enjoy erra a lot. I prefer old erra. My gripe is, while jesse has a good voice, every single time it’s his turn on a song it’s over slowed down tempos and he can only sing slow and drawn out vocals. It gets really repetitive because it’s the same in every song.
Don't know why, but from time to time, there's a song, that everybody loves and I just can't listed to it. Like the breakdown is very sick, but rest of the song is less than meh, slow, boring. I suppose the music is just subjective, and Erra for me is a complete miss.
Eliminate the cleans and this shit would hit
It was good, really liked the breakdown but I think I’m just tired of the metalcore formula. Either make a metal song or make a ballad, the slow parts just lose so much momentum and energy.
