Just got one of these. The damn MIDI port doesn't work and I have to return it! So disappointed! FL Studio read it when it's connected through USB, but when I plug it in to my Korg minologue xd through MIDI, nothing happens.

I really love the feeling of pressing the keys on Alesis VI series MIDIs. I'm thinking of getting Q88 MKII but I wonder if it's keys are felt the same way?
Hi Pazetic -I get alesis Q 88 midi contr. -please could you tellme please--how to connect it to Cubase 10,5 on windows 10 ?..I cannot do it !..But with Q 25 it was very symple !

Is this a hammar touch?
Anyone else having trouble registering their new Q88? I have followed all the instructions, set up an account, and I get an "Invalid Serial" error notice when I try to enter the serial number. The keyboard is useless without registration.
me too......I just got the Alesis Q88 MKII controller...Because I was convinced that the installation was as straightforward as it is with the Q 25... But I see that it doesn't sound..And it is necessary to waste time registering.Maybe you don't know that not all of us have a fast web connection....Anyway.I registered the product on your site...But everything is blocked because you force us downloading all those programs...After 3 hours..I still can't use my controllers....Let me tell you something "This way of doing things is not smart"...Now could you please tell me How should I proceed to use my controller..? I can't understand what I have to do...The indication in your manual is useless..Because it refers to the peripherals menu of my music program...But in my Cubase there is a list of controllers and synthesizers. very partial.. and the Q88 is not present... But then, why does the alesis Q25 work directly... and the Q 88 doesn't ?
How's it different from the regular Q88?
how is this different from the M-Audio Keystation Mk3. Differnet Logo?

@@campar1043 nope, same thing, even same company (M-Audio and Alesis are brands under the same hood) - just get the cheaper one.

@@couchcamperTM The M-Audio doesn't have 5 pin MIDI DIN out, just USB

My aplicat is CUBASE 10 and in his menu periferics...there is so very little staff !..So ? could you telle me please how it to do to play this controller ?..As well as to play it with the kontact plugg in on the monitor.....I I've tried all the ways to connect it but it doesn't work
