The iheart radio performance of SNTY (with a more ROCK arrangement) was with a superb LIVE band. Plus he did a second song from his album on that stage, entitled Hate you. Would love to see how you relate to that ballad.
This was intentionally an homage to Michael, they talk about it how it was intended on the choices all over the record. Since it was a presentation of Jungkook as a solo artist ( even though Seven was his pre release track and actual debut single) they wanted to show his influences, his vocal mastery and his projection for the future of his career as a soloist, at least that's why I think they made that choice. I would recommend for you to check any of his live performances, maybe the TSX guerrilla concert in Times Square or any you can find. You will be impressed, not all studio singers can pull off flawless vocals live ( while dancing) like JK can. He is a King. Thanks for reaction
