Jade cutter is more flexible but sucks in 2 of the 3 aspects Low base attack and shit passive, Its just lots of crit rate It will always be usable but will never be great until we get a pure hp scaling sword dps character

Since you wanted to know why I pull on this banner: For me, this banner is a win win anyway. Because, I like Alhaitham as a character and his playstile, I tried pulling for him when he first appeared, got Tighnari, which is still really good, but did not get him in the end. So, gonna try again. If I get him, great! If not, then my next 5 star is guaranteed for when Fontaine is released or even for Wanderer or something. Also, I 36 star abyss quite easily, since I have been playing for a long time (mostly F2P too). The current abyss was tougher, but still doable, even if a little experimentation was needed on my end. So, I just pull who I want and go with the flow of the game. I also occassionally pull for weapons now, so that I have more comfort in choosing weapons for characters. Got really lucky with those: 2 thousand floating dreams in 1 10 pull (was kind of a joke pull ngl hahaha, but I definitely cannot complain), a mistsplitter in 40, 2 favonious weapons in these 50 pulls, so might try my luck again at it if I get really lucky with character banner. Also, good 4 stars, which is a nice bonus
Well, I got him within 50 pulls from 0 pulls AND his weapon within 25 pulls with no guarantees incl. 3 fav swords, idk why but I am SO lucky with weapon banners, sheeesh, gl to anyone who wants them too!

I'll be pulling mostly for Alhaitham and hoping for some Heizou and Xiangling's cons. I got Alhaitham on my side account where I really enjoyed his playstyle and since then wanted to get him on my main. I've been debating whether to go for the weapon banner or not, but I'll probably save primos for future after all.
One thing I didn't see mentioned about Kazuha C2 in the video: Aside from Kazuha, it only increases the EM of a team member ACTIVE ON THE FIELD. It's not like Sucrose where it gives EM to everyone, including off-fielders. So if you're playing him in say, a Hyperbloom team. It might not be as big of a boost as you think. Still a really powerful con, though. Especially if paired with a carry who wants a good amount of EM.

I want to try to pull Alhaitham just to pair him with Dark Iron Sword. A good mix of functionality and drip, that's how I play. Objective-wise, solid banner overall. Good for newbies.

Or ''eff you Zajef for ruining my plans?" 😂 I stopped buying welkin and BP bc I got bored of this game (My resin was capped for a week), and I thought I need a new character and new weapon (Haitham and his weapon) to feel enthusiastic again. After watching this video, I'm now less interested to pull on any of these new banners.
I already have Kazuha and Alhaitham and Alhaitham's weapon, but I had been considering pulling on the weapon banner due to needing more sword weapons and feeling like this weapon banner worked for that. But I think I've decided to wait.
Pulling for weapon banner because i have heavy invested kazoo and heavy invested alhaitham so i literally cannot go wrong with either of the 5 stars and I don't need any more constellations for kazoo (and any at all for alhaitham). Also, can you do a bit about what is your number 1 weapon banner (hypothetically speaking, using all possible 4 stars) as well as what is the absolute worst banner that could possibly be made?
I want as many constellations on Kazuha as possible for fun. I'm more than positive C6 is not worth it but I want it someday cause I want even more sworl and his normal attacks are cool.
I'm waiting for the 4 stars to get on the Kazuha banner to go for his C2. I got him C1 on his first banner so this patch was a skip on puller as I got Alhaitham C0.
I think i will pull for a weapon first and then for Alhaitham. I will be satisfied with any of the weapons, since both of them are decent for him. My kazuha is on r3 xiphos moonlight and he is c1. I don’t know, i’m kinda bored, AR60 for half a year now, i feel like alhaitham will be interesting to play, since i have many characters which are good with dendro (baizhu, nahida, nilou). Alhaitham in nilou bloom seems fun idk .
I didn't farm that hard for kazuha (I was farming for Xiao back in version 1 lol) but I got 175 ER on him from substats alone. so i am psyched for freedom sworn. i am sad that its so fugly on him though :(
Thank you Zajef,your work is appreciated as always. What do you guys think? Is it worth pulling Kazuha only for Raiden Hypercarry if I have C4Sara only? My other team does not need an anemo at all and I have C5 Sucrose just in case. Also C1 Xiangling and that is half the reason I'd pull on these right now.
If you have Baizhu, he's surprisingly good in Sara's spot in Raiden hyper...Kazuha's one of the most flexible units in the game so there may be future teams you want to play that will include him too, plus he has really good overworld utility (where you spend most of the game) with being able to activate his skill mid-air
I have Alhaitham and Kazuha already, but I'm gonna pull on the weapon banner. I'd really like a LoFi for Alhaitham, and I wouldn't mind getting a Freedom Sworn either (could also use some more Favge), if LoFi comes first that'll probably be the end of it but I get Freedom Sworn first or off-banner I will probably have to think about pulling more. Freedom Sworn is probably destined to for Kuki rather than Kazuha though. I do have 85k primos saved, so I'm gonna be okay for Fontaine stuff coming later no matter what.
I go for Kazuha. Liked him since his drip marketing and le@ks, but I had to skip him on release and 1st rerun for banners coming after. Now I don't even that much enthusiastic about him, but I love anemo, I have every character exept Kazuha, and he is still useful, fun and adorable💞
I currently get 36 stars every spiral abyss but the past few have been pure torture, in particular anything that requires dendro like the shields, or the algorithm boss, not to mention the Consecrated Horned Crocodile & Consecrated Fanged Beast. I usually throw in nahida/shinobu which are both amazing as supports, but I just dont have a well built comp to make use of nahida/dendro reactions (at least without butchering my hu tao comp). I recently got yoi mika, and was thinking about getting alhaitham as a good main dps. But I might wait until at least the previews for fontaine come out before spending my primos. Im honestly afraid that new abyss cycles will come with enemies that completely invalidate my builds :(
Idk, honestly im kinda lacking primos (9 pulls atm) Have sucrose atm, is kazuha worth pulling? Supposed to be one of the best units in game atm or so i heard but primos are kinda lacking as i said Alheitem idk, went for xiao previous banner cos honestly didnt want to deal with mirrors. Now i have kaching that i love with yaoyao (same mechanic, dont have to deal with unnesesery stuff) 4* i have c0 yaoyao and c1 spice girl, but with my luck (didnt get c1 bennet, c0 fishl or new kitty) i wont get spice girl (dont care for anemo boi, got xiao with his weapon if i decide i want anemo fielder) My last 5 star was ayaka 75 pulls ago, meaning i have to win 50/50 even if i get 5*, maby ill decide to pull to see if i get 5* then stop if i get it, even if i loose on it (and hope for some spice girl in the mix, and loosing to diluc c1)
I have 2 f2p accounts, one of them is a 1.0 account with 2+ years of progression and investment, and another one is kinda new (less than 6 months old). On my main account I have 203 intertwined fates and im not planning to pull anything in 3.7 and 3.8 and just full saving till Fontaine, because this account have a very big variety of characters and teams, and also already have Kazuha, Nahida and Kokomi, which means that i dont really need to pull anything either in 3.7 or 3.8. But on my second account i have 98 fates right now, im pretty close to pity and also have guaranteed 5*. I already have some teams on this account like Keqing aggravate, Ayaka freeze and Sucrose national, but all this teams is kinda incomplete and also shares the only good anemo character that i have, which is c0 Sucrose, so i really need Kazuha here, because it will skyrocket both of my Ayaka and Keqing teams and they really need a good form of grouping and elemental damage buff, especially Ayaka. Also my XL is at c0 and its very uncomfy to play Sucrose national with such short XL burst duration, so my plan is: 1. Get guaranteed Kazuha 2. Swith to an Alhaitham banner 3. Continue pulling till 50 pity or till c4 XL If i get early Alhaitham after Kazuha, im completely fine with it, because i can use XQ, Yao Yao c1 or DMC and Kuki with him (Kuki is work-in-progress). Losing 50/50 is even a better option, because i really need to get Kokomi in 3.8 for my Ayaka freeze and Sukokomon teams (not that i really want to build those teams, but its always better to have more variety and possibilities, also my current Ayaka freeze team is very uncomfortable with my only hydro AoE applicator being Barbara)
I love Mouun’s Moon! I use an R5 one on Sara in my Raiden team. You need a fair bit of ER even with raiden but the burst damage is crazy. So much so that it helps for multi wave content because she can often nuke down one wave and let raiden’s burst hit an undamaged second wave
i will be pulling for kazuha since ive skipped both his previous banners, its time i gotta get him. i already have hayi and his BiS. kazoo shall recieve either the umbrella or favge i shall see. im a venti user for my vv procs instead of sucrose and ive wanted a similar situation on pt2 of abyss since im not a huge fan of her gameplay so kazoo shall serve me well in this way
I have terrible luck with the weapon banner and I should know better than to pull, but I'm still going for it because it has a pretty good value for my account. I have both Kazuha and Al-Haitham at C0, and no other 5-star sword than Key I'm going for only one 5 star, so if it's LoFi, my Al-Haitham gets an upgrade, if it's Freedom Sworn my Kuki gets it and she upgrades all of my Al-Haitham team, and if it's a standard weapon... I guess I'll cry and keep my "guaranteed" for a very good banner... (and not waste it on Key hoping for a Jade cutter and a Xiphos both of which never came home...) Also I kinda hoped that it would be Xiphos on the banner, but now I realize that my two lvl 90 R2 Fav swords are in dire need of refinements (but knowing my luck I will only get sacrificial greatswords anyways) And finally even if I get it I'm probably never using Freedom Sworn on Kazuha because Favge is just too good and I didn't go for all those crit rate sub stats on VV for nothing
Lost my baizhu 50/50 to qiqi, so it's time to get my c6 kazuha. Only one con left and my favorite poet boy will finally be at full power. Interesting insight on fs though because I have it at r3? R2? and it's been p chill so far. My alhaitham stole mist splitter from ayaka so I might yolo roll after kazuha to see if she can get her sword back.
If you are a whale Fav looses value and FS gains - you kill enemies faster -> more particles, less ER needed, rotation doesnt need to be as strict etc :)
I've actually been saving since Scaramouche's banner, I liked Alhaitham but I rather have Dehya, then Dehya went to the permanent banner so I also skipped her and now I'm pulling for Alhaitham finally, that said I have him guaranteed in the next ten pulls so it's going to be in and out in one second, I might do also a ten pull in the weapon banner I always have really good luck there, then saving for Fontaine.
Fav sword always landing on mediocre at best banners is such a tragedy. AR 58 and I only wish I could get even 1, but rolling on this banner is too risky to waste primos on other weapons with bad luck. If Favge weapon line ended up on starglitter shop I would buy one for even 100
I'm playing since release, what I still have trouble with is: where does crit matter in reactions and where does it not? Lets take Kazuha as an example: I wanted to use Fav Sword on him after I get him (I'm at around 60 with guaranteed banner 5*, so I just need at most 30 pulls or so). 45% crit rate and 88% crit damage Like my VV goblet is EM, but it rolled into Crit Damage and Energy recharge My sands are EM, but it rolled twice in Crti Damage, only 3 times in crit rate and that's it My feather started with 1 Crit rate roll, rolled twice in Crit Damage, but has a lot of ER. What I don't get is: are all those Crit Damage rolls "wasted" ? My current "build" would have him around 45% crit rate with 210% ER. Should I keep farming for a EM VV goblet that has some more rolls in crit rate to get the Fav to proc more often or? if the crit damage rolls aren't wasted, I ain't really inclined to do that. But if they are, I guess I'll have to. Edit: I'm going for 1 Kazuha, to get C0 - like I said, playing since release and I still don't have him. I like his Kenshin design, but I always wanted other characters more than him before. And right now I know what "comes" next patch, as in no new characters. So I find it 'safe' to go for him now.
I am currently building Yao Yao for succrose quicken with Fishl and Beidou, should I build HP/HP/CR (for fav) or rather go for a little bit of dmg with Dendro dmg or EM/attack?
Favge again 😂 Side note: If you have C6 Kazuha, Light of Foliar Incision can be better than Freedom Sworn in a certain situation being that you're playing high EM build Kazuha and also wants him to do personal dmg, the dmg increase for him will be pretty good.
I dont have Kazuha n my Xiangling is only c2 so I'm definitely pulling (I like to play yaoyao so I'm fine with more constellations and Heizou is cool but I have him c6). I wanted to get one of the 2 weapons (I have Alhaitham) but you convinced me to keep my primos lol, good video.
Alhaitham skipped me last time but I have enough primos to guarantee him and if I win the 50/50 I will try to get his weapon, after that I can save for fontaine and the hydro archon

First of all think for yourself do you really need Freedom-sworn passive? Secondly, Getting C1 doesn't mean you won't need Er at all you still need a decent amount even with it (You can check Zajef's Kazuha myth buster video for Er requirement chart) Also, on paper it do sounds that 2 E is good but it have a problem if you're using a strict rotation where you really don't wanna spend more time on it.. (For eg. International - Bennett Q last for 12s and if you spend time doing 2 E on Kazuha you're gonna lose out your Bennett Q duration for Childe a bit).... So no, EM weapons will be valuable only if you have "enough Er" from substats or need less Er based on the team you're using.. Also, practically unless you're a good spender or I mean can guarantee the 5 star weapon you really want, you need to consider if you're fine getting Light of Foliar Incision or just the standard 5 star weapons too
I pulled to get Favge Sword, got LoFI. Now I'm here with one of the worst 5 star weapons in the game, who do I use it for? Man these signature weapons are so ass.
I got him to C6 and i do agree he's fun but since i got C3 Kazuha i can't even look at Heizou now since i'd rather main the most fun character in the entire game
Legit I've only ever used favge on Yunjin before I met this man, and now almost every team I have has at least 1 favge holder, and I am a happier gacha addict than before.
I'm actually going for the weapon banner. I really like Alhaitham and already have a very invested Ayato, which makes Freedom Sworn's team buff more relevant. And yeah, what sealed the deal for me is that I'm also really hurting for more fav sword copies. I tend toward vertical investment and already have more built characters that I rarely touch than I'm comfortable with, so I'd rather take advantage of a rare win/win weapon banner for my account than hoard for the unlikely possibility that there are multiple new characters I want back to back in the early Fontaine patches.
Me with c6 Heizou and Xiangling and an Yaoyao: Are you sure about that? Unless you want Xiangling constellations and don't have Yaoyao, the banner is pretty bad besides the 5 star, its only good for starglitter generation but I would rather get a Kuki on my account than that. I'm still siting here with a c-1 Kuki and I'm loosing my patience.

I have 179 er on my kazuha without fav and still prefer using fav 💀 but im usually playing him in a freeze team and shenhe and ayaka need help. The other problem is that the umbrella sword just looks COOLER than freedom sworn. So whenever i dont need fav, im happy to use the umbrella and take the lesser em. Playing around with the idea of c1 kazuha. I dont think its a great idea for freeze, but i like kazuha so maybe it would open more teams without fav. Thanks for the video and sharing your thoughts.
coming from someone with a c2r1 kazuha who has 175 er, c1 isn’t a necessity but it makes life so much easier in terms of QoL cos you can hold E, ult and get to tap E so you don’t have to wait for the cooldown and you can easily get your ult back with that much er. he helps funnel more particles back to the team with two E’s. he’s one of my favourite characters so i may be a bit biased but always prioritize new characters over constellations. if your roster is already solid you can safely go for his cons, wishing you luck on your pulls!
same, im just debating if i pull kazuha c2 or alhaitham with his weapon, i think ill go for alhaitham just cuz i have very other dendro character except him.
Heizou is awesome in overworld where you don’t really worry about grouping and crowd control…he helped me get Xianling from the Abyss also…his attack animations literally the most badass even when u discount the fact that he is a catalyst user…
I'll be running Xiphos' Moonlight over favge or Freedom Sworn on Kazuha, it's just too strong to give up on the extra EM for Kazuha, and extra ER for Xiangling as a byproduct.
I am not that interested in Kazuha as a unit but I will be pulling regardless mostly because of Xiangling's C4 and my gambling addiction. 50/50 and I'm not that far away from soft pity, so I either get a future guarantee (and possibly Keqing/Dehya to my collection) or a fine character to lose my 50/50 to
idk what it is but whenever i see alhaitham being used or use him in tests/events he just feels godly to me and im in huge need of main dps units so im probably going for him, but yao yao is so adorable that i almost want her more than the 5 stars lol
This is probably the best banner for a beginner. An OP healer YaoYao, an OP support (Kazuha) and OP sub-dps Xiangling, you just need a hydro now and you've got yourself a burgeon team

No way!! Bennett just ran during windblume and was in the paimon shop. Not to mention all you need is c1 for bennett whereas you need c4 XL. The longer I can stay away from having the red exclamation point tell me to activate bennett c6 the better
I wanna pull on the weapon banner for the Lo-Fi since I'm a sword maniac. I already have Mist and Jade but Lo-Fi seems like a good addition to the collection. Shit ton of CV and the EM niche could have some use in some wacky shit in the future as well. I have all sword users (including Alhaitham) and I'm planning to get any that releases so that's that. I technically could wait and pull it later but I'm getting FOMO'd so hard LMAO since there might not be as good banner (for me, since Freedom Sworn is also there and I dont have it rn + Favge) and they can put Alhaitham with fking Kokomi or Baizhu of all people in the future). I do have a sizeable stash (625 pulls) so it shouldn't hurt me that much unless I get the worst luck of all time, but yeah. I'm a bit sceptical but I also wanna give in to my addiction and sword collection desires and I'm losing it (sanest genshin player TRUE)
Another sword collector owning every sword char here, can definitely recommend LoFi for Haitham, I‘m still not satisfied with the build but when I gave him the sword he felt broken. I also had 2 5 star swords prior, being Mist and Haran, sadly never got to snag a Jade Cutter… but planning to! LoFi looks beautiful af and that alone was worth the pull lol
C1 kazuha with 140 er has no need for Fav tho. Ur e q e is 70% burst up and if ur smb else has Favre on ur team , no reason to not use it if u have it. Also underrating 2nd e cosntelation a lotm thats a lot of dmg . Kazuha can solo clear a lot of abyss content by just triggering electro charged or other transf reactions with swirl. Unironically doing main dps level dmg
I’m pulling for the first time on weapon banner for LoFi for Haitham cause I usually just collect characters. I use Harbinger on him but the recent Abyss cycles render the weapon useless cause he’s almost always below 90% and cause its 3* it has low base atk too… So I really hope I get LoFi (I have enough for 2 guarantees but I’ve heard nightmares about the weapon banner pity system). He looks so pretty with it too, gotta pamper my husbando
Honestly gonna try to go for Alhaitham's signature for my Kaeya. While yeah I have a mistsplitter on him already, I just really wanna see him with 300+ cd. Currently hes 271cd. After late Kagura though I doubt I will get it in 20 pulls, but it never hurts to try, especially when there is favge on the banner too
I'll get Alhaito for sure and then i'll do a couple ten pulls on the Fav Sword Banner, i could use the 5* weapons (LoFI on Al and Freedom on Kuki / Al) but i need MOAR Favge. I have one R5 Fav and i hate swapping gear between characters more than anything else, so it's a struggle....
Kazuha's C2 is one of the best cons in the game! You know why my Yae Miko is so busted? Kazuha + Nahida give her a 450 EM increase, she goes from 600 to 1050. Combining her pillars plus Nahida's E, i'm doing over 150k DMG per hit.
Actually its not that hard to hard buff em even in alhaitham spread team 250 em from nahida plus 240 from kuki sap r5 plus instructor plus 100 from dendro ress he gets and his cap is also on 1k its like hutao clocking her 41k hp cap at c0 with homa very f2p friendly for real
Just wanna say that it is possible to reach 1k EM without Kazuha's 5* weapon, I did that while getting +80 on the flower and on the feather while using umbrella, 1001 to be precise. Since I mostly use him with Raiden I dont suffer with ER issues but even when I play international, it doesnt feel that bad cuz honestly, you just want to use his E to double swirl most of the time, his burst dmg is cool and all but yea not the end of the world if you didnt get it in one rotation cuz he is giving your team frikin 40% elemental dmg.
If you clear it doesnt matter, but dmg wise Kazu burst is probably 70% of his dmg. however, in fact it reduces teams dmg since you are blind and cant see where enemies are XDD
The worst thing about Freedom Sworn is that it looks bad on Kazuha.
If I recall correctly, someone posted a theory that freedom was supposed to be for Jean but it got changed to fit Kazuha

Yup Jade and Mist owner. My characters fight for those weapons because they're usually a characters best or second best weapon
just pull when the banner is good 4 u regardless if it's jade or mist etc

I'll be pulling mostly for Alhaitham and hoping for some Heizou and Xiangling's cons. I got Alhaitham on my side account where I really enjoyed his playstyle and since then wanted to get him on my main. I've been debating whether to go for the weapon banner or not, but I'll probably save primos for future after all.
One thing I didn't see mentioned about Kazuha C2 in the video: Aside from Kazuha, it only increases the EM of a team member ACTIVE ON THE FIELD. It's not like Sucrose where it gives EM to everyone, including off-fielders. So if you're playing him in say, a Hyperbloom team. It might not be as big of a boost as you think. Still a really powerful con, though. Especially if paired with a carry who wants a good amount of EM.
I'm pulling for Kazuha for cryo teams and hopefully I get Xiangling from C3 to C4 along the way.

I stopped buying welkin and BP bc I got bored of this game (My resin was capped for a week), and I thought I need a new character and new weapon (Haitham and his weapon) to feel enthusiastic again.
After watching this video, I'm now less interested to pull on any of these new banners.
I already have Kazuha and Alhaitham and Alhaitham's weapon, but I had been considering pulling on the weapon banner due to needing more sword weapons and feeling like this weapon banner worked for that. But I think I've decided to wait.
Pulling for weapon banner because i have heavy invested kazoo and heavy invested alhaitham so i literally cannot go wrong with either of the 5 stars and I don't need any more constellations for kazoo (and any at all for alhaitham). Also, can you do a bit about what is your number 1 weapon banner (hypothetically speaking, using all possible 4 stars) as well as what is the absolute worst banner that could possibly be made?
Just think about a banner with Kokomi and Baizhu's weapons, you don't even need to think about the 4* even if it's full of fav weapons xd
I want as many constellations on Kazuha as possible for fun.
I'm more than positive C6 is not worth it but I want it someday cause I want even more sworl and his normal attacks are cool.
I'm waiting for the 4 stars to get on the Kazuha banner to go for his C2. I got him C1 on his first banner so this patch was a skip on puller as I got Alhaitham C0.

I think i will pull for a weapon first and then for Alhaitham. I will be satisfied with any of the weapons, since both of them are decent for him. My kazuha is on r3 xiphos moonlight and he is c1. I don’t know, i’m kinda bored, AR60 for half a year now, i feel like alhaitham will be interesting to play, since i have many characters which are good with dendro (baizhu, nahida, nilou). Alhaitham in nilou bloom seems fun idk .
I didn't farm that hard for kazuha (I was farming for Xiao back in version 1 lol) but I got 175 ER on him from substats alone. so i am psyched for freedom sworn. i am sad that its so fugly on him though :(
Thank you Zajef,your work is appreciated as always. What do you guys think? Is it worth pulling Kazuha only for Raiden Hypercarry if I have C4Sara only? My other team does not need an anemo at all and I have C5 Sucrose just in case. Also C1 Xiangling and that is half the reason I'd pull on these right now.
If you have Baizhu, he's surprisingly good in Sara's spot in Raiden hyper...Kazuha's one of the most flexible units in the game so there may be future teams you want to play that will include him too, plus he has really good overworld utility (where you spend most of the game) with being able to activate his skill mid-air
I don't think it's a bad thing to get Kazuha while going for Xiangling cons
I have Alhaitham and Kazuha already, but I'm gonna pull on the weapon banner. I'd really like a LoFi for Alhaitham, and I wouldn't mind getting a Freedom Sworn either (could also use some more Favge), if LoFi comes first that'll probably be the end of it but I get Freedom Sworn first or off-banner I will probably have to think about pulling more. Freedom Sworn is probably destined to for Kuki rather than Kazuha though. I do have 85k primos saved, so I'm gonna be okay for Fontaine stuff coming later no matter what.
Update. Got LoFi in only 20 pulls. What a nice W, didn't even dent my primo stash.
I go for Kazuha. Liked him since his drip marketing and le@ks, but I had to skip him on release and 1st rerun for banners coming after. Now I don't even that much enthusiastic about him, but I love anemo, I have every character exept Kazuha, and he is still useful, fun and adorable💞
I currently get 36 stars every spiral abyss but the past few have been pure torture, in particular anything that requires dendro like the shields, or the algorithm boss, not to mention the Consecrated Horned Crocodile & Consecrated Fanged Beast. I usually throw in nahida/shinobu which are both amazing as supports, but I just dont have a well built comp to make use of nahida/dendro reactions (at least without butchering my hu tao comp).
I recently got yoi mika, and was thinking about getting alhaitham as a good main dps. But I might wait until at least the previews for fontaine come out before spending my primos. Im honestly afraid that new abyss cycles will come with enemies that completely invalidate my builds :(

4* i have c0 yaoyao and c1 spice girl, but with my luck (didnt get c1 bennet, c0 fishl or new kitty) i wont get spice girl (dont care for anemo boi, got xiao with his weapon if i decide i want anemo fielder)
My last 5 star was ayaka 75 pulls ago, meaning i have to win 50/50 even if i get 5*, maby ill decide to pull to see if i get 5* then stop if i get it, even if i loose on it (and hope for some spice girl in the mix, and loosing to diluc c1)
I have 2 f2p accounts, one of them is a 1.0 account with 2+ years of progression and investment, and another one is kinda new (less than 6 months old). On my main account I have 203 intertwined fates and im not planning to pull anything in 3.7 and 3.8 and just full saving till Fontaine, because this account have a very big variety of characters and teams, and also already have Kazuha, Nahida and Kokomi, which means that i dont really need to pull anything either in 3.7 or 3.8.
But on my second account i have 98 fates right now, im pretty close to pity and also have guaranteed 5*. I already have some teams on this account like Keqing aggravate, Ayaka freeze and Sucrose national, but all this teams is kinda incomplete and also shares the only good anemo character that i have, which is c0 Sucrose, so i really need Kazuha here, because it will skyrocket both of my Ayaka and Keqing teams and they really need a good form of grouping and elemental damage buff, especially Ayaka. Also my XL is at c0 and its very uncomfy to play Sucrose national with such short XL burst duration, so my plan is:
1. Get guaranteed Kazuha
2. Swith to an Alhaitham banner
3. Continue pulling till 50 pity or till c4 XL
If i get early Alhaitham after Kazuha, im completely fine with it, because i can use XQ, Yao Yao c1 or DMC and Kuki with him (Kuki is work-in-progress). Losing 50/50 is even a better option, because i really need to get Kokomi in 3.8 for my Ayaka freeze and Sukokomon teams (not that i really want to build those teams, but its always better to have more variety and possibilities, also my current Ayaka freeze team is very uncomfortable with my only hydro AoE applicator being Barbara)
I am gonna pull Alhaitham's weapon anyway and I need a lot of fav sword... I have been saving for so long hahaha
I love Mouun’s Moon! I use an R5 one on Sara in my Raiden team. You need a fair bit of ER even with raiden but the burst damage is crazy. So much so that it helps for multi wave content because she can often nuke down one wave and let raiden’s burst hit an undamaged second wave

i will be pulling for kazuha since ive skipped both his previous banners, its time i gotta get him. i already have hayi and his BiS. kazoo shall recieve either the umbrella or favge i shall see. im a venti user for my vv procs instead of sucrose and ive wanted a similar situation on pt2 of abyss since im not a huge fan of her gameplay so kazoo shall serve me well in this way
I have terrible luck with the weapon banner and I should know better than to pull, but I'm still going for it because it has a pretty good value for my account. I have both Kazuha and Al-Haitham at C0, and no other 5-star sword than Key
I'm going for only one 5 star, so if it's LoFi, my Al-Haitham gets an upgrade, if it's Freedom Sworn my Kuki gets it and she upgrades all of my Al-Haitham team, and if it's a standard weapon... I guess I'll cry and keep my "guaranteed" for a very good banner... (and not waste it on Key hoping for a Jade cutter and a Xiphos both of which never came home...)
Also I kinda hoped that it would be Xiphos on the banner, but now I realize that my two lvl 90 R2 Fav swords are in dire need of refinements (but knowing my luck I will only get sacrificial greatswords anyways)
And finally even if I get it I'm probably never using Freedom Sworn on Kazuha because Favge is just too good and I didn't go for all those crit rate sub stats on VV for nothing
Lost my baizhu 50/50 to qiqi, so it's time to get my c6 kazuha. Only one con left and my favorite poet boy will finally be at full power. Interesting insight on fs though because I have it at r3? R2? and it's been p chill so far. My alhaitham stole mist splitter from ayaka so I might yolo roll after kazuha to see if she can get her sword back.
If you are a whale Fav looses value and FS gains - you kill enemies faster -> more particles, less ER needed, rotation doesnt need to be as strict etc :)
I've actually been saving since Scaramouche's banner, I liked Alhaitham but I rather have Dehya, then Dehya went to the permanent banner so I also skipped her and now I'm pulling for Alhaitham finally, that said I have him guaranteed in the next ten pulls so it's going to be in and out in one second, I might do also a ten pull in the weapon banner I always have really good luck there, then saving for Fontaine.
Fav sword always landing on mediocre at best banners is such a tragedy. AR 58 and I only wish I could get even 1, but rolling on this banner is too risky to waste primos on other weapons with bad luck. If Favge weapon line ended up on starglitter shop I would buy one for even 100

I'm playing since release, what I still have trouble with is: where does crit matter in reactions and where does it not?
Lets take Kazuha as an example:
I wanted to use Fav Sword on him after I get him (I'm at around 60 with guaranteed banner 5*, so I just need at most 30 pulls or so).
45% crit rate and 88% crit damage
Like my VV goblet is EM, but it rolled into Crit Damage and Energy recharge
My sands are EM, but it rolled twice in Crti Damage, only 3 times in crit rate and that's it
My feather started with 1 Crit rate roll, rolled twice in Crit Damage, but has a lot of ER.
What I don't get is: are all those Crit Damage rolls "wasted" ?
My current "build" would have him around 45% crit rate with 210% ER. Should I keep farming for a EM VV goblet that has some more rolls in crit rate to get the Fav to proc more often or? if the crit damage rolls aren't wasted, I ain't really inclined to do that. But if they are, I guess I'll have to.

I'm going for 1 Kazuha, to get C0 - like I said, playing since release and I still don't have him.
I like his Kenshin design, but I always wanted other characters more than him before. And right now I know what "comes" next patch, as in no new characters. So I find it 'safe' to go for him now.
I might get C1 kazuha just because it's one step closer to C2 and I love this boy so much!

Side note: If you have C6 Kazuha, Light of Foliar Incision can be better than Freedom Sworn in a certain situation being that you're playing high EM build Kazuha and also wants him to do personal dmg, the dmg increase for him will be pretty good.

First of all think for yourself do you really need Freedom-sworn passive? Secondly, Getting C1 doesn't mean you won't need Er at all you still need a decent amount even with it (You can check Zajef's Kazuha myth buster video for Er requirement chart) Also, on paper it do sounds that 2 E is good but it have a problem if you're using a strict rotation where you really don't wanna spend more time on it.. (For eg. International - Bennett Q last for 12s and if you spend time doing 2 E on Kazuha you're gonna lose out your Bennett Q duration for Childe a bit).... So no, EM weapons will be valuable only if you have "enough Er" from substats or need less Er based on the team you're using.. Also, practically unless you're a good spender or I mean can guarantee the 5 star weapon you really want, you need to consider if you're fine getting Light of Foliar Incision or just the standard 5 star weapons too

I'm actually going for the weapon banner. I really like Alhaitham and already have a very invested Ayato, which makes Freedom Sworn's team buff more relevant. And yeah, what sealed the deal for me is that I'm also really hurting for more fav sword copies. I tend toward vertical investment and already have more built characters that I rarely touch than I'm comfortable with, so I'd rather take advantage of a rare win/win weapon banner for my account than hoard for the unlikely possibility that there are multiple new characters I want back to back in the early Fontaine patches.

I have 179 er on my kazuha without fav and still prefer using fav 💀 but im usually playing him in a freeze team and shenhe and ayaka need help. The other problem is that the umbrella sword just looks COOLER than freedom sworn. So whenever i dont need fav, im happy to use the umbrella and take the lesser em.
Playing around with the idea of c1 kazuha. I dont think its a great idea for freeze, but i like kazuha so maybe it would open more teams without fav.

coming from someone with a c2r1 kazuha who has 175 er, c1 isn’t a necessity but it makes life so much easier in terms of QoL cos you can hold E, ult and get to tap E so you don’t have to wait for the cooldown and you can easily get your ult back with that much er. he helps funnel more particles back to the team with two E’s. he’s one of my favourite characters so i may be a bit biased but always prioritize new characters over constellations. if your roster is already solid you can safely go for his cons, wishing you luck on your pulls!
This banner is honestly a god send for me as I don't have Kazuha/Heizou/Yao-Yao & only have C2 Xiangling

Heizou is awesome in overworld where you don’t really worry about grouping and crowd control…he helped me get Xianling from the Abyss also…his attack animations literally the most badass even when u discount the fact that he is a catalyst user…

I'll be running Xiphos' Moonlight over favge or Freedom Sworn on Kazuha, it's just too strong to give up on the extra EM for Kazuha, and extra ER for Xiangling as a byproduct.

This is probably the best banner for a beginner. An OP healer YaoYao, an OP support (Kazuha) and OP sub-dps Xiangling, you just need a hydro now and you've got yourself a burgeon team

Shit ton of CV and the EM niche could have some use in some wacky shit in the future as well. I have all sword users (including Alhaitham) and I'm planning to get any that releases so that's that.
I technically could wait and pull it later but I'm getting FOMO'd so hard LMAO since there might not be as good banner (for me, since Freedom Sworn is also there and I dont have it rn + Favge) and they can put Alhaitham with fking Kokomi or Baizhu of all people in the future). I do have a sizeable stash (625 pulls) so it shouldn't hurt me that much unless I get the worst luck of all time, but yeah. I'm a bit sceptical but I also wanna give in to my addiction and sword collection desires and I'm losing it (sanest genshin player TRUE)
Another sword collector owning every sword char here, can definitely recommend LoFi for Haitham, I‘m still not satisfied with the build but when I gave him the sword he felt broken. I also had 2 5 star swords prior, being Mist and Haran, sadly never got to snag a Jade Cutter… but planning to! LoFi looks beautiful af and that alone was worth the pull lol
C1 kazuha with 140 er has no need for Fav tho. Ur e q e is 70% burst up and if ur smb else has Favre on ur team , no reason to not use it if u have it.
Also underrating 2nd e cosntelation a lotm thats a lot of dmg . Kazuha can solo clear a lot of abyss content by just triggering electro charged or other transf reactions with swirl. Unironically doing main dps level dmg
Sucrose is TERRIBLE for grouping, and if not in c6 is not even close to kazuha. Sucrose is SOOOOO OVERRATED! GET KAZUHA

I’m pulling for the first time on weapon banner for LoFi for Haitham cause I usually just collect characters. I use Harbinger on him but the recent Abyss cycles render the weapon useless cause he’s almost always below 90% and cause its 3* it has low base atk too… So I really hope I get LoFi (I have enough for 2 guarantees but I’ve heard nightmares about the weapon banner pity system). He looks so pretty with it too, gotta pamper my husbando
Honestly gonna try to go for Alhaitham's signature for my Kaeya. While yeah I have a mistsplitter on him already, I just really wanna see him with 300+ cd. Currently hes 271cd. After late Kagura though I doubt I will get it in 20 pulls, but it never hurts to try, especially when there is favge on the banner too

Combining her pillars plus Nahida's E, i'm doing over 150k DMG per hit.
Actually its not that hard to hard buff em even in alhaitham spread team 250 em from nahida plus 240 from kuki sap r5 plus instructor plus 100 from dendro ress he gets and his cap is also on 1k its like hutao clocking her 41k hp cap at c0 with homa very f2p friendly for real
i'll be going for alhaitham kinda just because i think he's really sexy (and strong i guess) also my friend has him and im jealous
Just wanna say that it is possible to reach 1k EM without Kazuha's 5* weapon, I did that while getting +80 on the flower and on the feather while using umbrella, 1001 to be precise.
Since I mostly use him with Raiden I dont suffer with ER issues but even when I play international, it doesnt feel that bad cuz honestly, you just want to use his E to double swirl most of the time, his burst dmg is cool and all but yea not the end of the world if you didnt get it in one rotation cuz he is giving your team frikin 40% elemental dmg.
If you clear it doesnt matter, but dmg wise Kazu burst is probably 70% of his dmg. however, in fact it reduces teams dmg since you are blind and cant see where enemies are XDD
