The "New" 2023 Shimano Vanquish reels

A few months back we filmed some new product videos for Shimano New Zealand featuring the new 2023 Vanquish Reels. Heaps of fun shooting this out at the stunning Mokohinau Islands and the perfect conditions to put these amazing new reels through their paces.
The new range of Vanquish Reels are unreal, super lightweight, silky smooth drag for lifting good fish out of the shallows and the infinity loop allows for very even line wrap on the spool allowing for effortless casting and less friction when the line is peeling off under drag. These are now our go to inshore reels for working soft-baits and lures.
