What a disaster by the launch team… 🤦♂️ the two guys holding the wings both pushed up at the back of the wing as they released. There was never enough forward speed either. I reckon it was saveable, but the pilot lost sight and stalled it. More wind, better launch and it would have been ok. Real shame that, looked a lovely scale model.
I guess one of them should have held it longer, run faster. The guy with the fuselage was holding it too far behind the centre of gravity causing it to pitch nose down. The theory behind it not flying correctly after it hit the ground was that the elevator connection got knocked away...
Looks like low airspeed and the pilot panicked seeing the glider drop below his line of sight behind the cliff and stalled it. Didnt look like that hard of a hit to break a linkage, and it did fly straight for a bit.
+henry dumber Yes it looks gorgeous. I have forgotten where it was, I will ask the lady who took the pictures. Someone climbed down to get the bits on the side but the wings floated away :-(
+henry dumber Apparently it was a "Bring and Buy" Meeting and someone called Bob Pertington was involved. It was over 15 years ago before strong servos and linkages, on the Southern tip of the LLyn Peninsula, South of Abersoch, North Wales.

Prefiero no decir nada...que lastima. Larry, Moe y Curly. No tenían idea de lo que hacían

Bullshit
You dont stall a plane for half a minute by accident, it for sure was the linkahe or servo
Launch by committee, what can possibly go wrong?
I think the launchers were just looking straight at the camera. Thank godness none injured, they could fall down the cliffs too
that's one dope-ass submarine!
Gee. I would have thought three baby steps was enough to launch a 35lb glider.
That’s one of the worst I’ve seen, because it looked like a save at first, then the shocker👀👀👀
Dümmer geht's nimmer....3 komplett "unfähige" Starthelfer...von Koordination haben die wohl noch nie was gehört...Schade um das schöne Modell !!!

Long transmitter antennas - what frequency are they using? Not 72 MHz?
Maybe 35 mhz?
A right Royal fork up by the launch team!
That is so sad. I hope the plane was repairable
Too many chefs in the kitchen.........
No hay que pasarse con la maqueta, no ponerla instrumentos y después hacerla despegar por rebote contra el duro suelo.
he person who holds the glider by the empennage throws his gesture up and suddenly, it plunges the glider down and the result that we know!
The 3 stooges are still alive!
nice flying site where is it?
sad about the plane , did they collect the bits?

The sky is that way!
Reversed elevator?
I dont think so, he would have been able to save it. I think a servo broke or blocked upon impact
The Lemming plane 😂
It was the guy in the middle who is at fault
The idiot pumps the back up so the glider is getting down in the front,... OMG I would have killed him :-)
bittersoulsleeping To late. I already did! Lol
@@bittersoulsleeping its the pilots responsibility to get people whom he can trust to throw the plane. If anything, he didnt brief them right
Damn.. one hell of a way to go shark fishing! 😆 #Idiots
So sad.
Falta el VIENTO
The ground crew was pathic.. Couple of minutes of my life wasted.
monche lerns oanfo et

lol 😆
Get yourself a tripod and a steadycam setup, then learn how to focus your camera.
Tom Seim Yes, pretty jerky isn't, and she got too close to the take off path! My friend said ok to put it on YT; at least she got something :-)
