Dr Gary, I am only 26 and I feel like our culture is messing with our minds! The fact that I’m already thinking I see facial laxity and imagining if my skin was tighter… I think us who grew up on social media have it totally distorted and I fully expect most of my peer group to seek out facelifts etc by 40. It’s scary Edit: I absolutely love the discussion in the replies! Thank you everyone for sharing we are in this together!!
I’m 31 and I feel like my face is defying gravity and about to hit the floor, it’s ridiculous 🤦🏻♀️ we need to get off the internet as a collective I think lol
I get it. I am 48. I refuse to use any filters or poses to take my own photos. I want to see what I look like as I age and I appreciated my 20’s and love my 40’s.
Hey, I’m 25 and I am terrified of the expectations of my 40’s or 60’s. I am so shocked seeing actresses or influencers in their 60’s with less wrinkles than women in their 30’s. I wasn’t fearing getting older until this wave of cosmetic surgery came to such a high peak. What will our generation look like, or approve, or normalise until then? I am just scared
I saw Megan Fox in an interview when she was admitting to the plastic surgeries that she said had and she said if I could I would take my nose down to the size of just two nostrils. That is a big dysmorphia problem.
@chloewright1 When your preference is you looking like Voldemort or 2000s Micheal Jackson, you need therapy, not a surgeon. She needs help. She barely has a nose. There's nothing to reduce. She's already nipped and tucked everything to nip or tuck. And it's honestly doubtful she was joking. Her actions has already shown hyperfixation is an issue.
She's on tape in an interview where she reiterates all that she even made mention about some movie character that has no nose just nostrils. Yeah she wants to be that m@@chloewright1
I just turned 30 and suddenly felt like I couldn't recognize my face. I assumed I was aging and was really upset about it until I realized I don't actually look "old", I just look different. I don't have wrinkles or sagging, but my adult face looks very different from my teenage face and I never paid attention to it before. That might be why I felt uglier but I'm starting to feel like my adult face might actually be better in some ways. Either way, turning 30 is such a journey mentally, and I think that is mostly due to societal pressures and expectations, not actual reality. I didn't just wake up one day looking older, it's just the number that made me feel older.
The more you become yourself, the more beautiful you will become 😊 I'm turning 40 this year and looking better than I ever have because I am confidently my real self more than I ever was as a kid
You look the best at 30. All my life people told me I was cute and they say wait until she in her 30s, she’s gonna be beautiful. They were right I’m 49, still beautiful 😊
@@sabinerette182 I was thinking the same thing. 30 is not an age where you should be noticing any change so drastic that it concerns you. If that's the case, the rest of the ageing process is going to be earth-shattering for a lot of these young women. Which I already suspected it's going to be anyway. For people in their 20's and early 30's to feel they need surgery and and notice every minuscule change, is not a good sign for their future. I just hit my peri era and my skin is visibly lax, my under-eye area has changed drastically from five years ago. My skin has a texture I don't recognize. This is a time when I'm really struggling, sometimes I cry looking in the mirror. It's so jarring. I was getting carded up into a year ago. Now I don't recognize myself. If I think back to when I was younger and CAN NOT imagine my entire youth being in this mental space! I feel so sad for young women these days. I'm miserable (for now) but I'm glad I can tackle it with the wisdom of an older mind and it didn't take up my entire youth. It's 100% the fault of social media for all of us women at all ages, actually. Social media is the scourge of society.
In our modern times, when even groceries and crappy fast food are insanely expensive, how are so many people able to afford these frivolous procedures??
They can't, they put it on a card called "care credit". It has some no interest period for like 6 months but then its super high interest. Some of them have sugar daddies or are strippers or hookers. But regular women just save up or get into debt. I have no surgery, so not speaking from experience but I have at least 20 friends with surgery of all types and just asked how they paid for it.
So I had a tummy tuck, lipo and fat injections 2 years ago. I live in Maine so it's not like Miami or something where surgeons are on every corner with "deals". It was pretty expensive, and there are only a few in my area. During my first consultation the surgeon had been there for like 20 plus years he seemed very nice but something just rubbed me the wrong way. Everything I asked he was like oh yeah that would be fine I can do that. It just gave me a weird feeling and so I chose to meet with the other surgeon in the office, who literally had just started practicing like a year before.( Of course he had been out of school and done his residency and done all of the stuff you're supposed to do for like 13 years but he had just started his client intake) But I had such a better feeling about him and he seemed so honest with the answers. Well I made my appointment it was about 6 months out, and about halfway through that time the original doctor actually left the office and was sued for malpractice. the office staff had a lot to say about him once he was gone. My surgery experience was amazing and my results have been fantastic and his upkeep of me and his concern for me was fabulous. So go with your gut! And don't try to get a bargain when it comes to your life and health!
Some people have 20 years experience, and some have just repeated their first year 20 times. Some doctors don't bother keeping current with new procedures.
Good point. I talked to a dr. about breast implants, because I had very small breasts.. She was very scientific. I decided to talk to more doctors. The next guy I visited with, had long fingernails, and told me My breasts would aim at the floor if I didn't get a lift as well. He grossed me out, and I went back to the lady doctor and told her what he said, she said "Why would they aim at the floor?" I went with her, and got a med. size. They were great. I didn't need a lift also. When I decided to go bigger, I could not use her since she moved to Dubai. The next dr. I went with was a man who taught implants in Tx.
“Struck off” in the UK means struck off the GMC register. They are no longer licensed to practice medicine in the UK. It will usually happen if the doctor has done something seriously bad or malpractice etc
. Hahagaga. Yes our Trust tried that BS and did a marked and rapid U turn when they were about to have to fire, 40 pc medics and over 50 pc of Registered Nursing staff
Lindsay Lohan's surgery has been hailed as ushering in the era of "Undetectable Plastic Surgery." She has a whole new face that looks nothing like her old-face. I don't know how that's unconsidered "undetectable."
Her old face was also unnatural, from the addictions to substances. She looks similar enough to know it's her at first glance but to compare her now to her when she was battling addiction, invasive media and mental health torubles is unrealistic.
@@sanjanat1085 Idk, I'm not sure I would have recognized her without being told who she was. When smiling, Lohan looks more like a young Julianne Moore than herself at any age. Either way - it's detectable.
Same with Christina. Okay, she looks flawless but she doesn't even look like herself. I mean neatly done work, and if she feels better that's great, but can we not call it "non-noticeable".
Well said Dr Linkov. It’s alarming to me to hear some people talk about plastic surgery like it’s the same as getting your hair dyed. It’s frightening.
Two of those girls have already jacked up their face. The procedures ironically make them look older, not younger or better. All for the same basic overdone look.
I agree. This one UA-cam couple I use to watch, I found out they’re a few years older than me I’m 26 and they look in their late 40s from all their plastic surgery. It’s really sad.
I live in TampaBay, Fl. went to a cooking class at a supermarket called Publix. The chef was from Miami and the first thing he said, “It’s refreshing to see women here that don’t look plastic.” 😂
I’m a 32 year old woman who just lost 200 lbs. I look 45 now, like a rough 45, people have been shocked when I tell them my actual age and I feel so self conscious about it. Like I thought my confidence would rise with the weight loss and I cry every morning because of all the loose skin on my face and body. I’m seriously considering saving up for a lower face lift. I originally thought the loose skin on my body would be the priority but I can hide that with shapewear, I can’t hide my face. I don’t want to be judged for getting a face lift at 32 though. I don’t know what to do :(
Yes, as everyone else is saying, big difference between surgery that's purely vanity and the reconstructive kind. You're definitely not being vain or silly, and anyone who judges you should maybe walk a mile in yr skin before they do. Good luck with yr choices. And congratulations on losing the weight. ❤
One thing to consider is that things will change over time. I lost 50 pound and was obsessed with the loose skin on my abdomen, but over time it looks better, partly because I gained a little back, but I also focused on pilates and other aspects of life.
You lost 200 lbs and I’m assuming you’ve been left with some loose skin. A face lift makes sense in this situation. Congrats on the weight loss, you’re beautiful no matter what you decide 💗
Hey Dr.Linkov, just want to say thank you for being the voice of reason in our vanity driven culture right now. If it weren’t for your consistent weigh-ins and your interviews with some of plastic surgery’s greatest medical voices, I would have been sacrificing my dollar and potential safety in under-researched overseas hair transplant procedures. I’m putting my health and diet first, losing weight and loving my body as it changes with me. Thank you for what you do for us!
So many women look like Stepford Wives now. The uniqueness in faces is being lost. I’m so sad for all the women out there that feel so uncomfortable with themselves and can’t bear to look their age.
@@Ariadne76-k3d Yes, society tells them women must be beautiful and young to have value. But, if women think staying beautiful is the only way they will get or keep a mate, they need to ask, “Is that mate worth it?” No amount of cosmetic surgery will change the cheating and shallow nature of some men. Women need to stop buying into these male-led narratives. Single life ain’t so bad ladies. Following your passions in life is much more rewarding than chasing beauty. As they say, beauty fades but stupid is forever.
Apparently it's not just not being able to look their age anymore, they don't seem to accept their young look either, considering how young they start the procedures...
In my twenties, I would have loved to get some kind of facial resurfacing to get rid of my acne scars, but couldn't afford it. Otherwise, I enjoyed how my face changed as I aged, in my 30s and 40s. The baby fat went away, my cheekbones became apparent. I dunno, except for the acne scars, I guess I was fairly lucky.
My jaw is recessed and that is causing my mid face skin is sagging. I am only 35 yo and done indjections, rf microneedling but it doesnt help to tighten my skin. I am cosidering mid and lower face lift
I'm 52 . I used to be sad about not having children. Now I'm absolutely flippin relieved. Because I know I would have battling this shyte with my child or children
Maybe you would have kids where you don't have to deal with this kind of topics . Why people with no kids always see the negative? I have daughters and they are not into this
I wonder if people are blurring the lines between reality and being as changeable as an avatar? Do they consider surgery as nothing more than an expensive makeover?
But they’re still considered highly desirable so this shit is like a double edged sword Other women see these women getting lots of attention which also compels them to do the same but in the same breath are told don’t do this people like natural and I’m like what are they to do lol
I give you mad respect. You can DO these procedures but you are true to our oath, to do no harm!! Im a surgical tech student and cant believe some docs will do these procedures.
In 20 years, there's going to be a bunch of older women with sunken-in cheeks, overly inflated duck lips and creepy archy Harry Hamlin brows and chiseled jawlines and they're gonna look NUTS.
The fact that one of these plastic dolls called her blepharoplasty her ‘bleph’ tells me all I need to know. Watching them talk about surgery as if it’s some innocent hobby they got into, comparable to crocheting, is insane to me.
These ppl make my a§§ tired. She got injections for years and that made her want a facelift so if she would have just left her face alone, she wouldn’t need a facelift. Real geniuses out here 🙄
I too had an unwanted "filler" inside my lower cheek for 17 years. That "filler" was an infection from tooth. After fixing the infection I was left with a saggy jowl on that side of my face. So I understand her need for a facelift after her dissolving fillers.
My face sagged and I developed jowls as a consequence of stretching my jaw to the max for six hours during dental surgery. Granted, I was 50, but 16 years of filler could do at 34 what six hours did at 50.
@@dammar117 Dealing with this now in fact. Bad dental lower jaw infection, infected implant, now I have a bad jowl, and even the swelling of my neck stretched out my neck, i will need a neck lift and to fix the scars while they drained the abscess!!!
@@moniqrupley6019 Accidents, illnesses, and aging. All are conditions that destroy or deteriorate our bodies and faces (and all can or will lead to death, interestingly). It's just that society wants to be all PC about aging. But it's in the same category.
Any plastic surgeon who accepts money to do such an unnecessary facelift surgery on a 34 year old should get their license taken away. The greed is unbelievable sickening. Exploiting young women who are insecure about their looks should be called out.
But that’s the industry. If doctors were truly honesty they wouldn’t have insecure women to work on. We still don’t know the long term effects of filler, botox and facelifts in young patients. How will those treatments affect the nervous system and white blood cells? The medical field doesn’t even know.
Who says it was unnecessary? She (and Dr Gary) explain it well: her face had started to sag due to all the stretching from the fillers and filler dissolving. At 34, the consequences of this can be obvious, because you have already started losing some collagen.
@@dammar117 you start losing collagen in your 20s as well but it would be weird for a 20 something year old to get a face lift unless for very rare situations. Also there are ways for improving collagen that are non-invasive
My young niece asked me what advice I’d give her for her skin with my hindsight/regrets/what I wish I knew. I said start tretinon/retinol around 25/30, sunscreen, always go to sleep with clean skin, wear the bare minimum makeup just to enhance like mascara and blush/bronzer and gloss vs hide like foundation and concealer.
As a 35 year old who has really taken excellent care of their skin. Avid sunscreen since 2018 with reapplying and retin a since 2020. I can tell you while sunscreen and tret are great what messed my face up was having to lose 30lbs to get to a healthy BMI after the age of 30 I did this. MAINTAIN A HEALTHY WEIGHT. Don’t dramatically get really low or get a bunch of excess weight. I have zero wrinkles but deflated mid face and it sucks ass
@@jowiens32 possibly im to the point where I really want a little facelift haha. Seriously though I know plenty of people my age and older who have maintained a healthy weight and they do zero skincare and honestly they look great. Sure they have some deeper ones but their faces are not sagging. It really depresses me sometimes
You are a good person. Not all docs are like you. People who wanna look like a different person should first search their soul. If they realize they got none, there are still mental asylums.
I believe there is something wrong when someone who's around the age of 30 thinks they need plastic surgery for cosmetic purposes only. How do they anticipate what's going to happen when they are 40 or 50 or 60, the consequences and side effects? What impressions are they showing their kids and what would they think if their kids came to them as age 20-30 and said they need cosmetic surgery to look younger like their parents did? Do they let the cycle continue to younger ages and eventually let kids decide for themselves what's best for them which has been proven false already in other areas? These are the questions that need to be asked & answered.
I shook my head when she said she’d had multiple kids in a short time. Kids? When you’re mentally messed up and have a shallow and twisted view of yourself and probably the looks of others too? Not fair on them. She clearly has dysmorphia to have had so many procedures since she was 18. It’s sad that we actually accept this and don’t push these people to get psychological help and stop giving their money to an industry that feeds off their usually imaginary insecurities. It’s led her into a life of many surgeries and procedures which all have risks and there’ll be many more because she’s essentially addicted to it - and not only that, she is worsening the integrity of her skin and muscle so that she will need more procedures to keep up with that as she genuinely gets older. It’s really sad.
I had endoscopic midface lift in my mid 30`s and also lower facelift as I was in late 30`s. I am now 51 and no need for any lift. Lets see if ever. If there is indication then go for it. But if there is not, then no dont do it. As we are younger we heal better the tissues are stronger etc so the results also last longer.
many foreigners have gone abroad to Korea to get cosmetic treatments face lower lifts treatments and smile lines treatments and smile line implants and many things
So informative and so glad I never thought about these things in my teens or early twenties. The time will come where you’re at an age when you can make these decisions. If you start too young it can hurt you rather than make you happy.
Very informative video appreciate the honest dialogue. I wish many people would do more research and understand the actual goal of cosmetic surgery. I do believe it should be mandatory for patients to undergo psychiatric evaluation prior!
I had mine at 19 but luckily my mum was heavily involved and helped me find a great quality surgeon. I was a bit of an idiot at 19 and might have just accepted the first and cheapest surgeon 😂
These are beautiful girls, but not in an individualistic way. I feel that plastic surgery kind of 'standardises' beauty, so that it's no longer especially beautiful. I'm thinking of Hollywood actresses such as Faye Dunaway, Ursula Andres, Sophia Loren, Demi Moore, Jennifer Aniston - the list is endless, (the last two have had surgery / fillers later in life, but their original beauty is still present). The women in this video are beautiful, probably more if they hadn't had the surgery - their true and individual beauty would have shone through.
This is crazy ... i have a friend who is the same age who also had a full facelift/necklift, lip lift , and a lot of sculptra a few months ago ! Even though I think it's extreme, she looks 21, so can I blame her ? Not really. If you can look very young again and itll make you happy, why not? Just choose your surgeons wisely of course and know thw risks !
The girls' accents are Greater Cheshire/ Manchester, UK. They have little education, and their accents sound a little St Trinians. In the UK, 'Struck Off' implies that the Doctor was removed from the medical registrar due to malpractice.
Dr Gary, I had a botched septorhinoplasty in 2021, 20 years old. On my end, I did everything right but the healing process still took over a year and a half. Now it barely holds any function and is so painful, even to look at. My job provides basic health insurance but this specific surgery and case isn’t covered and I’ll never let another ENT doctor put me under a knife. Im seeking a revision surgery but I’m kinda lost. Any suggestions on what I can do or where I could go? Thank you
I get the idea of seeking perfect symmetry in the face. But why are all of us obsessed with looking ethereally perfect? To please who? Because ultimately some ppl will still find you unattractive even with a lot of plastic surgery. I think lindsay lohan has done several facelifts in her 30s and its too much imo. If ppl go on like this, we might end up like the movie 'in time' with justin timberlake and amanda seyfried where people stop aging at 25. And boy is it an odd world. Im ok with plastic surgery, but i think it needs to be done in measure and not done unecessarily if you are still young.
Plus, being "perfectly symmetrical" has been debunked as being automatically associated with more attractiveness. For some, it makes them look uncanny valley. Like seeing someone with "perfectly" flawless smooth skin is usually seen as a good thing until the person starts looking like they are made of plastic. Some of the most iconic models in the world are uniquely beautiful with stand out features that are not always associated with the beauty standard.
For women, the economic system is tied to patriarchy. Beauty is currency. The more beautiful you are considered, the more access to resources. The halo effect is real.
Thank you, Dr. G. I find these conversations fascinating. Are there clients that you will not see? Given that they may ask for something, you deliver, but they (in their mind) did not get what they asked for? Some patients will never be satisfied, no matter how much you explain, no matter how much information you give them?
I'm 51 and just got a browlift. Got tired of spending so much $ on botox, when I can permanently fix the issue. 1st time having plastic surgery on my face, but I would love to have 2 more procedures on things that are really bothering me. Not looking to be a different person, nor do I care what others think. Just trying to make myself happier with the aging process. But if I don't have another procedure, I still think I am beautiful. Thank you for this post. I agree that young people are feeling pressure to make permanent changes. This problem was not prevalent 20 yrs ago, and I feel it is heavily influenced by social media.
There’s also the expense of paying for fixes of procedures where bad results aren’t the surgeon’s fault. Like, if you have an allergic reaction or your body rejects a material, that’s not on the surgeon. It’s YOUR body that’s created complications.
'Struck off', means no longer allowed to practice.. in this case medicine. Struck off the list. We use that term in Australia too. Same for lawyers etc.
Being enthusiastic about plastic surgery is like being enthusiastic about antibiotics. Plastic surgery should be prescriptive, a specific solution to a specific, existing problem, not a hobby that you just do without any real reason or any specific, measurable end goal in mind.
Struck off is when a Doctor in UK is not allowed to practice medicine anymore . They are 'struck off'' the professional register usually for malpractice
Oh you gotta love it, a bunch of self self proclaimed “experts” giving advice and discussing the subject 😅 its sad that some people thing they are actual experts!😬
Dr. Linkov , if a nose is a bit too "upturned" , showing nostrils when looked at both front and sides , wouldn't a lip llify not be recommended ? because the scar would be more exposed ?
I'd like to fix my deviated septum so I breathe better. I can't breathe through my right nostril. But what if something goes wrong and I should have appreciated where I started?
A surgery to help your breathing is perfectly logical and would benefit your health. Your worry is valid, but your situation definitely falls into the medically necessary category as opposed to optionally cosmetic.
Does minoxidil cause facial aging? A lot of People Who took for years are debating that a lot ,im taking 5mg of oral minoxidil ,2,5 MG every 12 hours ,and now im scarried, whats The science data and your clinical data of your pacients on this matter
Will the transplanted hair fall out eventually if we don't take finasteride and such? I thought only the "original" hair was prone to DHT and the transplanted hair wasn't. Also, a question about "too tight" - are you referring too transplanting too many follicles into one area? Or would existing "original" hair also get in the way?
I will consider getting a face lift in my late 40s or 50s, maybe 60s. It all depends on how I age. Too many face lifts don’t look right though, so have to be mindful of what age to do it
Understandable. Are you now happy with the result? How was the healing? I am asking because in my family, there's a bit of melting cheeks. No shame at all!
3:19 "struck off" in British English is short for being struck off the medical register. Doctors in the UK are regulated by the General Medical Council. Being Struck off the GMC register of doctors means you can no longer practice medicine in the UK and are no longer a doctor of medicine. The GMC is responsible for giving you the status of a doctor who is allowed to practice medicine, and they have the power to take it away.
What I think of when it comes to changing your appearance is that if you have a daughter they will have your natural features and wouldn’t you look at her and just think wow, she is absolutely gorgeous… and people would say “she has your features” but if you change them you may never hear that.
These women are horrible to listen to lol😂 it's like nails on a chalkboard. I've no problem with women having cosmetic surgery , I've had a nose job and hairline lowering... but to make your whole personality your looks is awful.
@nsanenthembrane yes for a bit , but it grew back fast enough and now you can't tell unless you look super close there's a faint silver scar but the hair grows over it mostly.
I've been blessed with a brown skin that needs way more sun than it gets (I have a serious vitamin D deficiency if I don't take meds). The result is that I look more than 10 years younger. I've had people think that my college daughter is my younger partner with us having a 12-year age gap or so. I was 29 when I gave birth to her. It's often hilarious. When people do get my age more or less right it's because they start calculating when they hear I have an adult daughter. One Asian woman looked at the skin on my hand to make an educated guess because apparently it doesn't show on my face. My "secret" is threefold, I guess. There's the fridge I live in while I was made in and for a country where it's always 30°C. There is the fact that my eyes are so sensitive that I can't stand light and thus I wear a hat even inside everywhere other than at home. The third thing is that I started putting this basic (what we call) udder cream on my lower face when I was 35 and on a daily basis when I was 40 simply because my lips would crackle and it doesn't anymore since I'm using that cream every day. I should have done that as a child already because that hurt so much. The corners of my mouth were always wrecked, never knew why. So now I tell one of my daughters who has that same problem to simply do the same. I buy it at the pharmacy so that it has nothing extra and lately I also put it all over my face. I've often wished I could send Dr. Linkov a picture of myself for him to guess my age with all his knowledge because, even though it's funny, I'm still stunned that people are always more than 10 years off. My eldest daughter once told somebody: whatever you think, add 10 years on top of that. And she was right.
@@NataliaPessoaXOXOMAKE Because of some serious painkillers I'm taking, the specialist recently had my blood checked, and with her being so thorough, I can only assume that everything is all right in that respect as all she's worried about is my kidneys. But what precisely are you talking about? The torn lips? If so, you might be right because as a child, I never saw a doctor so god knows what I was missing. Magnesium for sure, because that has caused irreversible problems, so it could very well be that I lacked all the other things you mentioned too. In which case the fact that it's no longer tearing apart has nothing to do with the creme but with the fact that my blood is better now. Thank you for that insight!
@ccatarinajm7114 Yes the lips! You’re welcome! I’m also going through something similar and had recently literally everything checked. Found out I was having sub-dermal bleeding because of low vitamin C and hair loss due to high Vitamin A toxicity. So that’s why I immediately wondered about your case! Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.
Can you help with the reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable source here in Australia. Really need!
Yes baire_tyler, I have a similar experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction, and mushrooms have significantly contributed to my recovery and being clean today.
I wish those were more easily accessible where I live. Microdosing was my next step for my husband. He's 59 & dealing with lots of mental health challenges, possible CTE & a TBI that put him in a coma for 8 days. Unfortunately, I had to get a TPO since he's 6'6, over 300 pounds, and showing violent behavior, constantly talking about harming others. He's aggressive. To anyone reading this, if you're familiar with BPD, is it common to have an obsession with violence?

Nobody needs a facelift in their 30s or even 40s. I didn’t even get my first wrinkle until I was 50. I’m 59 now & I got them but I’m not tripping. Maybe I’ll trip in my 70s & go for a facelift & neck lift. It’s better to look natural than to look weird!
When I was younger, I wanted nose and chin surgery. My face has always been round and nose flat. But at 40, my face slimmed down, but the roundness makes me look cute. And I like my nose because my heritage is there. I used to think my skin was aging when I was in my 30s, but boy, was I wrong. Signs of aging are here. They came with the onset of perimenopause at 37ish. I can tell with my cheeks, the spots, and thinning skin. The same Korean products I used to swear by I realized only works on young skin even if its the same condition. Large pores due to sebum aren't the same as large pores due to collagen loss. But I'm finally liking my face and body. My 40s feel good.

I saw Megan Fox in an interview when she was admitting to the plastic surgeries that she said had and she said if I could I would take my nose down to the size of just two nostrils. That is a big dysmorphia problem.
Not necessarily. Maybe that's just her personal preference? Or maybe she was joking? 🤷♀️

She needs help. She barely has a nose. There's nothing to reduce. She's already nipped and tucked everything to nip or tuck.

…I hope you can come to terms with aging, otherwise perimeno and menopause will be hitting you hard. 30 is sooooo young!!
You look the best at 30. All my life people told me I was cute and they say wait until she in her 30s, she’s gonna be beautiful. They were right
I’m 49, still beautiful 😊
Wait until you are 60 😂

In our modern times, when even groceries and crappy fast food are insanely expensive, how are so many people able to afford these frivolous procedures??
They can't, they put it on a card called "care credit". It has some no interest period for like 6 months but then its super high interest. Some of them have sugar daddies or are strippers or hookers. But regular women just save up or get into debt. I have no surgery, so not speaking from experience but I have at least 20 friends with surgery of all types and just asked how they paid for it.

The two replied to this are ignorant asf but yeah usually credit card debt!!
Some people work hard and will save a few years for it because they “need it”.
@@llewis921how do you know this many people with plastic surgery?? I don’t think I’ve seen that many people with it
So I had a tummy tuck, lipo and fat injections 2 years ago.
So glad you listened to your gut!
Happy everything went well for you 👍
Some people have 20 years experience, and some have just repeated their first year 20 times.
Thank you for sharing. NH girl here. Where did you have your surgery?

Seems it's way too common in the UK these days. It's wild. They're obsessed.
Yup been saying this. They’re all starting to look the same. It’s a bit uncanny
and they all have the same look
Definitely agree
These women are entering the uncanny valley of looks. And that ain't a compliment.
I live in TampaBay, Fl. went to a cooking class at a supermarket called Publix. The chef was from Miami and the first thing he said, “It’s refreshing to see women here that don’t look plastic.” 😂
If you show me these 3 women in different order I wouldn’t know which one is where 💀
I’m a 32 year old woman who just lost 200 lbs. I don’t know what to do :(
Don’t listen to people! It’s reconstructive surgery basically. You just want to look your age and that’s okay and normal!
Do what makes you happy. You’ve worked hard and deserve to feel good
Yes, as everyone else is saying, big difference between surgery that's purely vanity and the reconstructive kind.

Well, there is good reason why they feel that way.
To be fair, fillers have been touted as safe and dissolvable. Now we are just learning it’s not true
What you are describing is what plastic surgery was actually designed for. To try to correct for accidents and illnesses.
@@dammar117 Dealing with this now in fact. Bad dental lower jaw infection, infected implant, now I have a bad jowl, and even the swelling of my neck stretched out my neck, i will need a neck lift and to fix the scars while they drained the abscess!!!

Truth
Who says it was unnecessary? She (and Dr Gary) explain it well: her face had started to sag due to all the stretching from the fillers and filler dissolving. At 34, the consequences of this can be obvious, because you have already started losing some collagen.
@@dammar117 you start losing collagen in your 20s as well but it would be weird for a 20 something year old to get a face lift unless for very rare situations. Also there are ways for improving collagen that are non-invasive

Man, the accents on these women are killing me 😩
I believe there is something wrong when someone who's around the age of 30 thinks they need plastic surgery for cosmetic purposes only.
I could honestly listen to Dr. Gary speak all day 😩🙏🏽

It is awful that teens and 20 somethings are getting botox and fillers. They dont need it

I love you without eyebrows 😍 Reminds me of the movie powder and as a kid I had a crush on him and his silent power ♥️
The rise in plastic surgeon influencers contributes to the hyper preoccupation with beauty standards.
has kylie jenner not had a facelift UNDER 30 >.< unbelievable
There’s also the expense of paying for fixes of procedures where bad results aren’t the surgeon’s fault. Like, if you have an allergic reaction or your body rejects a material, that’s not on the surgeon. It’s YOUR body that’s created complications.
'Struck off', means no longer allowed to practice.. in this case medicine. Struck off the list. We use that term in Australia too. Same for lawyers etc.
Dr Gary rocks ! Do not ever change

Is there a difference between a facelift and facial reconstruction ?
That's functional. No reason to feel guilt. But this surgery has a high failure rate, apparently.
A surgery to help your breathing is perfectly logical and would benefit your health. Your worry is valid, but your situation definitely falls into the medically necessary category as opposed to optionally cosmetic.

Healthy food, SPF and face massage
These women are horrible to listen to lol😂 it's like nails on a chalkboard. I've no problem with women having cosmetic surgery , I've had a nose job and hairline lowering... but to make your whole personality your looks is awful.
When you lowered your hairline did the new growth look odd?
@nsanenthembrane yes for a bit , but it grew back fast enough and now you can't tell unless you look super close there's a faint silver scar but the hair grows over it mostly.
@ thank you 😊
I used to think like you until I heard about what redpilled men think about females and the value of their looks and youth.
I’m afraid that humans won’t look human anymore.
That can be caused by low levels of B vitamins, iron or protein. Have you had that checked out?
Anyway, best wishes for your health :)
@@NataliaPessoaXOXOMAKE I hope 2025 is the year you get all better!
Is he on instagram?
baire_tyler is the man
I was anorexic for 10 yrs, i was told to eat healthly n walk around now i look 32 even though im 40. Just take care of urself. If u have a serious illness just do what u can
Nobody needs a facelift in their 30s or even 40s. I didn’t even get my first wrinkle until I was 50. I’m 59 now & I got them but I’m not tripping. Maybe I’ll trip in my 70s & go for a facelift & neck lift. It’s better to look natural than to look weird!
Its true
what do you think about plasma for tear troughs?
I was turned away when I asked for one last year.
I’m 33, 5’6” 114 lbs naturally. I feel like my skin has laxity that is more significant than I’d like. I’d do a mid face smas endoscopic micro lift if it was under local and cheap.
How much is a consultation usually
the basic rule is 3 cuts to clown face. once you get past your third facelift, you got clown face
Facelift at 34 is crazy.
Am I crazy for avoiding unnecessary anesthesia
