    This is just a relief to see this!!! I have been thinking and getting frustrated with my toddler but now I know it’s normal for their minds can be all over the place. I was just about to give up homeschooling. Thank you!

      Don't worry girl! it is so normal for kids to be all over the place lol. I work within her ability and keep my cool. Then she thinks its all fun! Over time their attention span gets better!

    My daycare children love books and pictures of real people and animals. Those flash cards are so cute! I’m Canadian and I have no idea when I will be able to go to Target again. It’s the most amazing store!

    Thanks Brittany for another great video! Your channel is truly one of my favorites. My little one just turned 2 and I almost have her learning binder complete. YAH! I know everyone loves dot markers but I've struggled to see how a 2 year old and I could use them, so this was really helpful. Do you feel like Leilah was as advanced as Samara at this age? Looking at Samara I can't help but feel my little one is behind, but we do some sort of learning activity each day. I feel like every bit helps. I also feel like having a sibling advances them quicker. My little one loves puzzles. We get new ones almost weekly from our library and I've found it to be a good way to not only practice motor skills but also increase her vocabulary. I recently bought a few 3-4 piece puzzles to start to challenge her more. I just have to say you do such a great job with your girls! You are so patient and constantly trying to give them variety in activities while increasing their skill level as they improve. I'm so happy I randomly came across your channel!

    • @BrittanyLynnHomeschool
      @BrittanyLynnHomeschool  4 роки тому +1

      Wow Amy, your comment seriously brightened my day so much! Thank you for following along with my videos! The puzzle idea from the library is such a great thing to do! I may have to start doing that as well.
      I noticed that Samara is a little more advanced than Leilah was at her age in counting and number recognition. However she is lightly delayed compared to Leilah in speech, and letter recognition. I think all kids have their strengths and weaknesses, and learn at different paces. So try not to get worried when comparing your child to others. That is the beauty of homeschooling, you can cater the education to exactly what your child needs.
      Leilah struggles more in math concepts, while she excels so quickly in language arts. So, we take math concepts a lot slower until she grasps it. And she breezes through her language arts lessons.

      I really don't "make" them. I try to catch them at times that their attention span is at its best. But if they are putting up a lot of fight and show that they're not interested, I don't push it. I want learning time to be fun and encouraging, never feeling like work.

    Hi! Love your channel! Just wondering, when you do an activity, do you repeat it straight away or only do it once and take it away? (Like the ice-cream shapes page?)

      Irtaza Mashhood many of the websites I recommend to find free printables require that you sign up for their news letter. Once you give the website your email address, they will send the free printable to your email. So check your inbox for an email from the website and it should have the printable ready for you to download and print. 👍🏻

    How do you started teaching her the numbers and how many pompous goes to each number? Did u help her at the bugging if so how? I need to learn

    • @BrittanyLynnHomeschool

      I started teaching numbers with flash cards and counting things in front of her. Then I would hold her hand and point as we count. Which ever number it is, that is how many pom poms will go on the number. You can totally do it!

    I have an 18 month old who is not very verbal. Heis super smart and I want to do things with him but I'm nit sure what. I can't do the typical, "what is this" type activities with him. Any ideas? I like the counting bears with color matching.

    • @marie-louiseweerheim4224
      @marie-louiseweerheim4224 4 роки тому +2

      Verbalise what you're/he is doing in every day life. Read a lot of books. When he matches cards you can say the words. Also use the 3 fases: Fase 1: you point at a picture/object and say the word. Fase 2: say the word and let him point at the right picture/object. Fase 3: point at a picture/object and let him say the word. Use about 3 or 4 new pictures/ objects at a time.
