Ordered mine July 2021, received March of this year. Hybrid in Alto Blue, getting 40 mpg. I added Sunroof, back slider window and a spray-in liner. After delivery, I installed Ford mudflats, seat covers and gate strut. Scheduled to get ceramic sealer next month. Should look awesome! Ford hit a homer with this truck!
Congrats looks great! Which on my 2020 Mustang you can get rid of the windsheild hump by not getting the safty package... Odd that you can't on the mavrick.
Looks good. Mine is (will be) a little different, FWD 2.0 with luxury pkg XLT but also in that Alto Blue. I just don't have a need for the AWD but don't entirely trust the longevity of the hybrid system yet. The more I see of that color I love it. I did add on the Co-pilot 360 but we will see how that works, I like stiff like that. Have a bunch of mods/add ons waiting in the garage for it. I'm still 50/50 on the moonroof.....didn't order it initially but since my order is not anywhere near being in production/built yet the dealership told me they could add it on and see what happens if I wanted to try. I do like those wheels but I will just add some better tires to the FWD XLT wheels once I wear out the continentals. Ive also heard they're not very good to begin with.
Free FiTS kits are only for Hybrid orders. At least that is how my email from October was worded. July order, still waiting. I'm also wondering if Ford will tell me to pound sand with the manual rear sliding window like they did yours. I really want that tiny window!
Your truck is almost exactly what I have on order. The only difference is that I have the FX4 package. It looks great and makes me feel really good about my configuration.
Nice informative video. Did you pay extra for the molding on the bottom of truck. Why do you say the paint job will be high maintenance for cleaning and scratching
Why not just get the FX4 and the 4K Tow package? I think that is what I am going to do on my 2023 preorder. I figured I might as well get the best out both packages. Am I thinking incorrectly?
I mean I just explained it in the video why I didn’t waste the extra money on fx4. FX4 also gives you a steel splash shield, which adds extra weight when doing an oil change- something I also didn’t want.
How do you manage to get three of these when I can't get one, and even if I order the day they open ordering for '23, It'll probably be a year before I ever see it?
My order was 9 13 21 I have a bill date that's been changed four times so far supposed to be built this week week of July 4th Don't notification yet. . Putting it with 360 and spraying bedliner. Waiting for my hybrid
Gorgeous truck! I was just thinking about ordering something like this combination when they open the ordering for '23. I just disagree with the cost for upgrading the wheels, and having to purchase an additional package to get them, but the look is far better. Excellent choices!
Mavericks are well worth more than what they're paid for at the moment. If your dealership doesn't increase the price on you, you could probably go and sell it as soon as you buy it and make a profit of $9k avg (if I recall correctly)
Can I haul a pallet in my Ford Escape, yes. Can I haul a pallet and my children in the Ford Escape, no. Can I haul a pallet and my children in the Maverick, yes. :) That bed is versatile. Don't sell it ......short......pun potentially intended.
Thanks for sharing. I pretty much ordered the same XLT setup. Except I went velocity blue with the 4k and Lux packages. Your video confirms that Ford did make a change the the climate controls on it. They got rid of the digital readout on the temp control knob. Which the XLT with Lux in alto blue I test drove last october did have. Still have the pics on my phone. Could you give a quick brush up on where the new temp readout is now that it's not on the knob? I got my vin not long ago and expect the one I ordered will not have it when it gets delivered someime in eithe october or november.
@@kirkkarnage6344 never understood why some people love stickers and cheap letters proclaiming the make and model. I used an eraser wheel to get all the gaudy stuff off my Nissan Titan. Unless you are paying me I don't care to be a free advertisement.
Make sure your insured for electrical fire. They are catching on fire and they are selling them and not telling you. I drove one and they are really cheaply made I'd rather buy a Toyota Tacoma.

only needed a tow hook once, but boy was I glad I had it that one time.

Did your dealer try to mark up the vehicle or force accessory packages? Chula Vista Ford is doing this.

How did you get the 4k tow package without the AWD system? Fords website won't let me build one without the AWD system.

Instead of showing up on the knob, it shows up on the screen. Before they changed it it used to show up on both of them

The lux package does not include the spray in bed liner anymore. You get the drop in bed liner.
And FX4 package also upgrades the radiator so it is worth it.
The dealer will remove all decals for free if you ask.
