This guy should start a company to make these. There are thousands of people who would want something like this. Such an efficient design. This is better than many much larger RV configs. The average person is completely incapable of making something this intricate.
22 mpg with a 720 lbs slide-in! That's an impressive custom build with a lot of top shelf components. It definitely took a lot of brain power to fit that much kit into such a small space.
Hahah. Yep. Been a fan/user since day one. Sold my original with 6k miles on it. Love our PintXs so much they have dedicated spaces/mounts in our camper. Thanks for a great product!
There are companies that spend months of R&D to make something like this. There are guys that toil for 3 years in their back yard and don't come close to this level of thought and quality. This truck has only been on the market about a year.... and dude built this. Wow.
This is hands-down the most pristine truck camper wedge-style build I have ever seen on any size build. That kitchen design and attention to detail on the exterior is astounding. Cheers to this guy!
Super Impressive and Awe Inspiring. This guy has just a massive level of innovative build skills! The laser cutting, self engineering and fabricating work are just plain incredible! Thanks so much for sharing your build!
Awesome setup for sure, but there's got to be at least 15K in parts alone. Definitely a one of a kind design, and beyond the reach of most budgets. Major props on the engineering aspect of this regardless.
Awesome build. I want a maverick but am holding off a few years to see how they hold up and see what Toyota ends up offering to compete with them first.
This dude did an incredible job! Wow just wow. I want one. Also great job filming and editing and getting every detail from his build. I throughly enjoyed the whole video. 👍🏼👍🏼
That is impressive, I'd love to follow him to see how it holds up to long term use. I'd love a Maverick for travel and outdoor adventures, I was looking at camper shells for the Maverick and I found this. Wow.
I want it! Make this into a kit or let me send you my Maverick and money to do this. I love how your just like, Lazer cut metal... Like any of us can do that or have access to the equipment.. haha, great build
I think this would be a really optimal setup for the older rangers (2011 and earlier) too. Given the size difference and those rangers being compact trucks along the lines of the maverick now. Would be a great bed setup I think
Great setup -- I have the same Mav , no lift, but I put the Bushwacker fender flares on and looks kickass - flares would look even better with that lift and tires. Cheers
I’m sure the builder took this into consideration but I’m curious if the fact that the drivers side has most of the weight does that effect the balance?
Remarkable. Best camper build I've ever seen, and on a Maverick! WHAT DID IT COST TO BUILD? I know he did the actual work himself, but what did all the materials and great actually cost?
@@WUBBLY38 right? Buddy has an apocalypse camper and I'm sitting here trying to figure out a way to sleep in the back with a bed extender, some 2x4' and a tarp lol.
Very nice rig but I bet you have well over $60k including the truck. Fuel mileage is real good considering what it is with the camper, the lift and bigger tires. Just enjoy it, I know I would.
This setup is brilliant!! Kudos to this gentlman for thinking this setup all the way through! Alil constructive criticism to help the channel with these interviews if i may, its harder to get the information throughout bcuz you are overtalking the interviewee. Maybe wait until hes done talking to insert your feedback to what is said. I think that would make the video much more understandable and enjoyable. Nice video other than that!

Yes
Agree - very smart guy; has an engineering mind. Well above my competency in terms being able to design & build.
that was part of this video....free advertising
He would sell a lot of these
FYI, I am working with Twin Dogs to come out with a pop top shell for the Maverick, hopefully this fall

If it was a small diesel it would be 30 mpgs if not more!
Ford has a hybrid that gets around 37 mpg.
SPOTTED!

Not even a year. Earliest he could have got this was in October. So he put this together in only a few months
@@HEMi1995 Quite impressive!
@@HEMi1995 actually built it in 6 loooonnngg days for Expo West.
I have been researching for years and watching more videos than one can imagine. Nothing is better than this PEROID !!
By far the most simplistic and efficient set up I have ever seen. That guy is a genius. Thanks for the video.
This is hands-down the most pristine truck camper wedge-style build I have ever seen on any size build. That kitchen design and attention to detail on the exterior is astounding. Cheers to this guy!
Very impressive truck and workmanship, more so the attention to detail in the functionality. This guy should go commercial with this concept.
Maverick is going to have a large loyal fan community!
What an incredible build on a sweet little truck. Genius to use the GFC parts with all of his custom work.
Super Impressive and Awe Inspiring. This guy has just a massive level of innovative build skills! The laser cutting, self engineering and fabricating work are just plain incredible! Thanks so much for sharing your build!
This kind of show for workmanship is what gives me pride of made in the old USA. Hope that he shares his expertise to bring into production
Thanks for the kind words! I just like building stuff!
This young man is very talented as well as a genius!
You would go far as designing a build like this.
You do have mad skills, this awesome!
He’s probably already an engineer if he knows how to custom cnc and design things
This is cool. I hope something like this is developed and sold.

when you factor in the low cost of a maverick versus a full size pick up, its still affordable.
@@Wick.nilson Unless you where lucky enough to pre-order, I don’t think “low cost” and “Maverick” exist in the same sentence in 2022
@@docholiday5005 You're right. I believe FE Mav's were going for up to $30k before any crazy mark ups.
This truck costs under $25k!
@@Buxtonphil the First Edition Lariat was $33k, not $25k
Genius. Well thought out. Efficient, organized and unique. Well done sir.
Amber and Justin's rig is awesome, 👊😁👍🇺🇲

Awesome build. I want a maverick but am holding off a few years to see how they hold up and see what Toyota ends up offering to compete with them first.
Wow, mad skills. I really enjoyed the video. Thank you for this.
Airbags in the coils was exactly what popped into my head when I first saw this.
I'd like to see it made where the slide-in camper reaches to the end of the tailgate giving it an extra couple of feet in length. Very nice setup!!
This man is a real genius.
Guy took a $32k truck and put another $40k in camper equipment on it. Nicely done, definitely a city slickers dream setup.
Those numbers are a little off but yes. Guilty. Lol. 😅The truck cost more. Camper cost less. Thanks for watching!
@@wanderingtheweekend-justin6791 still a sweet build though
Extremally well thought out and executed build. Taking about making the most of space in a Maverick!
Hands down one of the most thought out no no sense designs👏
What a great build..one of the cleanest and most efficient builds I've ever seen
This would be awesome for us spartan or ultra racers who have night events...such a neat concept!!👍
Great build! Well engineered!
