Nice unboxing, but don't forget, you can get good deals at: SD Bullion which has a great selection. Also good are: Monument Metals, Monarch Precious Metals, and JM BULLION which has sunshine mint rounds at spot
Yeah I cross everything off now. Technically all the scan shows is City, State and zip (does not show physical address). BUT if you had a first or last name and with a little more effort you definitely could find exact location. Gotta be careful!

CarlS. Thanks for the comment. Im under the impression the bar code shows the same information as manually entering the tracking number. If that’s the case the only details that provides is the city and zip code. It does not give physical address or name of recipient. With that being said this was an older video and any unboxings I do now I black out all addresses and tracking numbers including the bar codes. No need to risk anything! My research shows that retailers DO NOT automatically send customer info to IRS for purchases. My understanding is they are only required to send info in if the purchase was made with cash/cashiers check and was a minimum of $10,000. Thanks for watching!
I’ve just gotten into the silver collecting thru JM Bullion, only generic rounds and a bar on the way. This makes me want to explore the old coins a little more though.
@@MidwestCoinHunter I went ahead and ordered a pack of "90% quarters, dimes, halves" and some more mercury dimes. Do you also go through and check them for anything special such as mint marks or are they all basically the same? Anything I should look for? Thanks
I'm actually doing a little research on the mercury dimes after I asked the question. I know now to look for the full band and they do have different mints but if you have any other advice, I'd love to hear it.
Oh man there’s so much to look for I don’t have time to look for it all 😂. I started with the easy stuff... silver, proofs, foreign, toned, obvious minting errors etc. those you can spot easily in any coin denomination. Some denominations have designs unique to itself. Pennies: wheats, Indian head Nickels: Buffalos, V’s, shields It can be overwhelming for sure but there’s so much obvious stuff to look for that makes it fun. When you get some rolls under your belt you’ll naturally start to get more familiar with more specific things like key dates, varieties, less noticeable errors. It’s a natural progression so just be patient. Most importantly HAVE FUN! Hope this helps
Hey brother new at this scene..you think its a smart idea to buy some silver bars for retirement? Im 51 now and can afford probably 2 grand a year on silver?
Hey Jersey! I always think it’s smart to buy silver. If you want to buy bars I’d recommend going with 10oz bars. 1 oz bars seem to have a higher premium. Once you start getting into 100 oz and kilo bars they may not be as “liquid” to move when that time comes. Try to always buy on the Dip when spot price moves downward. Another thing I learned is never buy over the weekend. Too many times I’ve made purchases when the market is closed on the weekend just to watch spot go down when the markets opened back up after the weekend. If I had waited I could have gotten a much better deal. Shop around and try to buy silver on sale. My go to online retailers are Silver Gold Bull and SD Bullion. Hope this helps!
Plata Pioneer Thanks for the concern, you’re the second person to comment on that 😬. Technically the tracking information only gives you City, State and Zip not a physical address that someone could show up at your house. However if someone knew your name (which I don’t give out or list anywhere) and was determined to find you for whatever reason they could try and look you up through the White pages with that partial info and try to narrow it down. Even still it would be a lot of work with most likely little results. With that said though I will be crossing out the tracking info from now on as it would be a good precautionary measure and only takes a few seconds to do. Thanks again for the heads up and thank you for watching, really appreciate it!
Good question. These quarters and dimes are not the same kind of coins you can get in pocket change, grocery store or bank. The modern coins we have today are minted out of Nickel and Copper. Most of our U.S. coins that were minted prior to 1970 were made out of silver. 1965-1970 half dollars are 40% silver 1964 and older dollar, half dollar, quarters and dimes are 90% silver The halves, quarters and dimes I ordered here are all 90% silver coins and are worth much more for their silver content than their face value. Hope that helps!
Good unboxing, I was going to buy some Silver from Apmex but shipping is a whole $10 so I don't I should buy any unless I'm buying a bunch at a time or else I won't be making any profit in the next 10-15 years
Rice Dogg Yeah if you can wait to buy at least $99 worth then the shipping is free! I won’t buy any other way or like you said it just isn’t worth it. Update: Here’s an APMEX code for free shipping on an order of $75... SHIPFREE75 👍🏻
A word of advice don't buy fractional rounds or bars or government issues you are better off buying junk silver. That being said great unboxing stack on
Thank you, very good advice in general. I personally don’t buy fractional pieces for my own stack... any fractional silver seen in these unboxing are used for our live streams and give aways. I will admit tho that early on I would get fractional silver to round out my online orders to qualify me for the $99 free shipping, haven’t done that in a long time though. Thanks for watching!
Christian johnson Good question. I personally do not stack fractional silver. I do weekly live streams and the fractional Silver is what I Give Away during those streams. Many of these unboxings contain the silver for the streams... if you see fractional silver in the unboxings that’s what it’s for! Thanks for asking.
Nice collection!! One question? Would you or anyone here recommend buying new 2018 - 2019 half dollars from the US Mint? I see they have 2 rolls for $30+. Any advice or thoughts on this??
I personally would not but I’m not a collector in the true sense. A $10 premium on coins that probably won’t have much collectible value, unless there are errors or they grade high, is a bit steep. If you’re looking to pick some up get a hold of Mobile Coins. Joseph George Yes, there were silver proof halves minted in 1964 at the Philadelphia mint. This one is in pretty circulated condition but after further examination is a proof.
Why didvyou buy the silver coins? I hate the damn premiums they are sheer price gouging. But coin are worthless to me. Thats why i stick wit the bars. But if you see a benefit in coins please tell me or anyone let me know the pros n cons...
Dj Caron The constitutional silver coins were not for my personal stack they were for Give Aways on the live streams that I do.
