Wiring a Trav'ler for DISH receivers varies by receiver and LNB type. Please reach out to Winegard Customer Support for questions on wiring based on the receiver and LNB type being installed.
I'm a satellite installer with 17 years experience. The dish receivers will connect directly to the lines going up to the dish, no power supply or splitters needed.
Do you have a video of converting this in reverse? DISH to DirecTV? I'm trying to get the dealer to perform the DISH to DirecTV swap before I pick up my new RV but they are confused.
Hello xplmr1 - Unfortunately a video is not available for converting a DISH Trav'ler to DirecTV. Converting a DISH Trav'ler to DirecTV can only be done if the system was originally setup as a DirecTV Trav'ler. The DISH Trav'ler SK-1000 turret hardware is different than the DirecTV turret hardware. If the system was factory DISH Trav'ler it cannot be converted to DirecTV.
Uh are you sure you want Direct TV/??? With DISH you can go month to month…not have to pay for months you don’t use it….sorry DirecTV requires you to pay whether you use it or not…AND the plan is for 2 years and your price goes up huge for the 2nd year…. I checked it out and DirecTV SUCKS…..
@@jamesstephensonii4428 I understand your point but I've had DirecTV since 1998 and I currently have 8 DVR's in my house. If I had the DirecTV dish on the roof I would only need to bring one of my DVR's when I travel and I don't need to pay extra for anything.
You the man! With my add I was able to follow very easily. Thanks!
So what do you replace the Direct TV power supply and splitter with
